  1. Great workout but the app holds it back. TL;DR version: Hardware great. Software needs some work. Super good ab workout. There are two components to this review and combined they give a 4 star rating.First: the hardware. It’s good. I have the pro model and it seems sturdy, well built and solid. The padding on it is thick and sturdy. The ball joint roles freely and this thing provides a HELL of a workout. My only real complaint: the emails you get when you order this. There’s a bunch of them and they’re all very cutesy about how the Stealth is “flying to an airport near you” and “your stealth has landed and will be placed on a box” etc. It’s overkill and I, personally, found it annoying. There’s even a link to a video about how to unbox it. You know, in case you’ve never opened a box before?Still, from a hardware point of view: solid 5 stars. The software is another story though. I’m running the app on a OnePlus 5 which is admittedly not a common android phone. But it’s running Oreo, has 8 Gigs of memory, 128 Gigs of storage and the Snapdragon 835. In other words it’s at least as fast as the Samsung S8… Yet the app is still slow to load.Once loaded the app is responsive and does provide a decent workout. Basically it puts little dots on your screen and you have to move a crosshair over the dots and hold it there for a few seconds. They tout it as being totally random. It’s not. It always starts in the same area and follows the same placement patterns. Exactly where the dot is placed is randomized but only the defined area it will be drawn. For example: the first dot is always on the right side of the screen, about in the middle and never very far above or below the middle of the screen. The next dot is always on the left bottom area of the screen. It does work but it’s not as great as marketed. The game has one mode. It provides a decent workout but it’s not very interesting or exciting. They hint at more modes soon but apparently that’s been a thing since it was announced. The only compelling reason to use their app instead of some other motion based game is your personal scoreboard and the global leaderboards. It is cool to see how you’re progressing from the first time to later on.The leaderboard only shows the top 200 people and there isn’t any clear or obvious way to see where you are at or if you’re even on it. Another concern is that there doesn’t seem to be any way to prevent people from just holding the phone in their hand and “gaming” the app. There are folks with fairly high scores in fairly short periods of time. That makes me wonder how accurate the boards even are.The last issue I have with the leaderboards is that there’s no way to see if you’re on them. You can filter them to include your gender and age range, yet even when you do that there’s no indication if you’re even on them or what your score actually is. It makes the only compelling reason to even use the app almost pointless. You need to be competitive to care about the boards, but then they made it hard to see if you’re on them? For the most part these gripes are minor issues. Small things like graphs to show your progress or a way to find your personal score… but those small things are missed opportunities and make the app feel like maybe it’s just a beta. The lack of modes or anything interesting doesn’t help.Software: 3 stars. It works, it’s just boring and feels unfinished.Overall: I like the Stealth. It’s provided a really solid couple weeks of ab workouts. The app is lacking but the good news is that apps can be updated. The hardware itself is rock solid and I have no complaints or concerns.

  5. 30-Day UPDATE: Fantastic. UPDATE after 30 days of daily use …This thing is really a great tool for exercising your core. The people that are saying that it’s too expensive for what it is, you can tape your phone to a memory ball, etc. … They are missing the whole point! ANYTHING works if you actually use it and stick with it over a period of time. A lot of people invent exercise gadgets, and a lot of them are very ingenious. But they’re only as good as the consistency with which you will use them.Ever been addicted to Planks? I doubt it. But this product will actually get you addicted to planks.I set my duration for 1 minute and 15 seconds. I keep the unit near my bed, so as soon as I get up, I have NO EXCUSE to not do 1:15 of a simple exercise to get my day started, and I love it. I would never do it if it depended on me staring at the clock waiting for it to be over.In my case, I do it again after I shower, then again when I get home from work, and a few times before bed (total 10 minutes/day.) There’s no way I would have EVER done 10 minutes of planks EVERY DAY for a month without the combination of this product and its app. Those 1:15’s add up, and I have read that multiple short plank sessions give better results than fewer, longer ones. That’s the real unadvertised secret of this thing. After 30 days, I know my core is stronger. The evidence is my posture. I’m 56 years old, and I have had a few people actually tell me I have lost weight, but I haven’t, at least recently. But I’m standing up straighter and stronger, and I don’t even realize it. That’s why people think I look better. Now, I’m going to bump up my cardio and try to get a six-pack.I like that they offer it at different price levels and countries of manufacture; I wish other companies did the same. It’s nice to have that choice. To me, this product is worth every penny.Original Review …Opened the box, installed the app, and started using it. Very nice product, quality build. The workouts can be pretty tough, depending on how long you go. Is it expensive? I guess so … But it does take time and money to create and maintain the software, so it kind of makes sense. Could you use a piece of wood balanced on a rock instead, and steal their app anyway? Sure, but why? It’s a small price to pay for a great core workout.

  6. This is a nice tool to train your core while having fun. Planks are great, but can be quite boring, so if you don’t mind spending the money, I’d say it’s worth buying this. I just got it, but I have no reason to doubt that it delivers what it promises – a way to make your core exercises more fun. However – and this is very important – my advice is to be very, very careful while you’re a new user. Others have said, and I second it, that it’s easy to slam your fingers very hard if you are holding onto the edges. When your core muscles get tired, your body tends to fall to the side, and if you’re gripping the edges, you can crush your fingers with all your body weight. I suggest to never hold onto the edges, at least until you get stronger and can control it better. Another thing is your elbows – make sure you put your Stealth on top of a yoga mat or a soft carpet. Because, again, when you fall to the side, you may fall on your elbow instead of your fingers. I did the first time I used it, and slammed my elbow very hard on a tile floor. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear about people fracturing their bones this way. Believe me, this is no joke. I’m surprised there are no warnings about this, and people are shown holding onto the edges in all promotional videos and photos, but believe me, it’s not that simple. The company should pay more attention to this and either improve the design, or include proper warnings. It would be a shame if this ruined an otherwise nifty device.

  7. Such a simple way to effectively engage your core! The portability of this model is an added plus. I am not an excercise enthusiast. I have always had a very weak core despite an athletic background through college. At 40, I’m trying to improve myself physically just a little, and I’m doing it with simple things I can do at home. To be clear, a lot of my effort started with losing weight nutritionally. So I’m at a fairly skinny but far from scrawny baseline at 5’9″ 165ish. I bought this Stealth because I liked the idea – engaging your core by forcing yourself to be stable while planking. And I looked at cheaper versions and decided I should go with the quality brand with established, functional games to use. Stealth seems to have the best concept design for creating multi-directional instability that forces your core to keep you in place. If you’re not picky about games, you don’t have to pay a thing for the basic ones, and they’re plenty engaging to keep you going for a couple minutes. I’ve started at 2 minutes a day – 2 minutes! I’ve even missed days here and there, yet in 3 weeks (I’m up to 3 minutes a day now) I can see some shape in my abdominal area that I have NEVER seen before. You can easily tell that it engages your abs from top to bottom. In my prior experience with traditional situps or crunches, my upper abs would do all the work, and I could never engage the lower ones. Not the case with this AT ALL. You can feel the fatigue from ribs to waist. Even when I used to be in good shape years ago and I could run forever, I never had any semblance of lines like I’m starting to see after 3 weeks of 2-3 minutes a day. Maybe this won’t do as much for you if you’re already a workout fiend, but if you want to start from scratch or limited core strength or stability, this is a great option if you’re willing to spend $100 one time. The portability of this particular model plus a sale is why I bought it as opposed to the normal one that doesn’t disassemble. It is perfectly stable so far with very clear instructions on how to assemble it appropriately.

Make planks fun and extend your time immediately. Thanks to Serious Keto (Youtube) for reviewing this product. He had the yellow version. I splurged and got the more padded one, red. Her is my own review…I used to workout at Orange Theory about 3-5 times her week. I was in great shape. Life just got in the way and exercise was dropped, and long enough that I gained a lot and lost most of my muscle. Now, I’m committed and making the time. I use an app called FitBod. It provides an exercise routine based on what equipment you have (at home or at a gym) and your past workouts. So, all excited, I get my routine ready. I see the first exercise is the plank. Oh boy! No problem I say. Get down and begin. Yea, it was the shortest exercise in history, about 5 seconds. So when Serious Keto said you can really build up your time quickly because the game is so much fun, I figured OK why not try it.First time doing it and I did it for 30 seconds. I felt I could have done it even longer mainly because I wanted to fly that darn plane! The game gets your mind off the plank completely. It was fun!If you want a game to distract you and make planks fun, this is an easy decision. Get it!

  10. The SCT and App are Now Part of My Core Workout. Everything about the SCT Deluxe rates a 100% to me. It is high quality, and well thought out. The Stealth App Core games are really fun and also well though out. I’ve worked through playing about half of them, and each new one i play becomes my favorite. I hate Asteroid games, but the Stealth Asteroid game is a blast to play. Great bang for the buck. Don’t hesitate to get the paid for version of the Stealth App.As an aside on the Stealth app, I use the Stealth App with every core exercise I can. For example I use it with the SpineGym, and play their core games. I hold my phone up in-front of me and :I can pass the time away. By positioning the phone in the correct orientation for the game, you can control lhe game with your core movement.

  11. I’ve never been able to plan more than 1 minute. Wow!!!! I can’t believe how I felt after. I was able to do 3minutes right off the bat. I could feel it in my arms, shoulders, back, legs, and core. I have lower back issues as well as sciatica so I need to rebuild my core strength especially after 3 kids. My doctor recommended it as he uses it too. Glad I got it!

  16. Planking made fun. It’s incredibly fun! The interactive game feature makes planking feel like an engaging activity rather than a mundane exercise routine. It’s a video game for your core muscles. Plus, it’s suitable for all fitness levels, so even if you need to start with modified planking, like me, it’s still a blast. What I love most about the Stealth Core Trainer is how it’s transformed my attitude towards exercise. Instead of dreading workouts, I genuinely look forward to playing with this device. It’s become an enjoyable part of my daily routine, and that’s a huge win in my book. It’s helped me stay consistent with my workouts, which has been crucial for my weight loss journey. There are only 4 free games included, but that’s enough for me. I can compete against myself, or others on the leader board.Overall, if you’re looking for a fun and effective way to work on your core, especially if you’re overweight or just getting started on your fitness journey, I highly recommend the Stealth Core Deluxe Trainer. 17. Don’t get discouraged. It is hard. Don’t get discouraged. It’s hard for sure and you may not be able to do it for great amounts of time but it just mean that you are working the parts of your body that need to be worked! And you get stronger if you do a little every day. I would focus on endurance at first and then later make goals.

  18. Fun and interactive exercise. This really is a fun way to get planks in! The app on your phone is easy to set up and the arm rests make it comfortable to use. It’s a challenging workout but the interactive aspect makes it easier to push yourself to go further.

  19. Great Christmas Gift. My Penn State Football son Testing it out on Christmas Day!! Great Workout! Great Gift for the athletes and gamers in your family!

  20. Excellent and FUN Exercise equipment. The media could not be loaded.  Have used for 25 days in a row and it has changed my core drastically. I started out at being able to do 1min planks on this and now in less than one month I am up to 3:35mins. I can tell I am stronger in my core as well as my back high also helps posture. I am 50 years old and I LOVE this thing!! It is something that is fun interactive, quick to do and with the games you don’t even realize how much time has went by. I highly recommend this product and this NOT sponsored review!!
