A new way of cooking. Taste is so much better. A new way of cooking for us. Have always wanted one and now I have one and will not regret it. Our first dinner the day we got it. Cooked rib eyes, did the potatoes and the corn in the sous vide also. Potatoes took about an hr and then I threw them all into a pan and air fried them. But I assure you the taste and texture of the potatoes were AMAZING!!!!! I bet you could cook them this way and mash them for perfect mashed potatoes. Corn was perfectly cooked. I like this cause now our food is NOT cooked in water (potatoes and corn) but in their own juices. If you are thinking of buying this do it. The best $50 I spent.
I love making sous vide chicken. This is my first sous vide circulator, and my first time cooking meat that way. I made a boneless skinless chicken breast seasoned with creole seasoning and sealed in a bag, cooked at 150 F/66 C for 2 hours, drained the excess juices from the bag (could probably use that for a soup or something) and sliced it up. It left a puddle on the cutting board from all the juice that remained inside the chicken. The flavor of the spices permeated all the way through and mixed with the natural chicken flavor. Very tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor.
Blew my mind. I was researching low temperature canning of pickles. Sous vide was mentioned. Can you imagine!! No hot water bath canner heating up my kitchen and turning my pickles mushy. Of the 14 quarts of dill pickles I processed using the sous vide, 2 did not seal.
Sous Vide Everything. This thing is awesome I remember when they were $500 now you can do it for less than $50! Works great heats up so fast! Would highly recommend
Excellent unit! Pleasantly surprised. I was very impressed with the initial quality of this unit. time will tell how long it lasts but so far so good. I may even buy a second one as backup for whenever this one dies. It feels really well made and could not be simpler to use—probably the most intuitive device I’ve ever purchased. so easy to set temperature or time. No messing around with WiFi/apps (no interest in that) and beautiful easy to read display. I can’t comment on the clip that some say is fragile as I made my own sous vide container using an igloo cooler. Very satisfied customer.
Great price and whisper quiet – it’s got the basics covered. The “Sous Vide Machines” caught my attention for its affordability and rave reviews. Having bought several for myself and as gifts, I’m thoroughly impressed by its performance and simplicity. This sous vide’s quiet operation is a standout feature. Unlike models that mandate app usage for basic functions (a trend I find unnecessary and cumbersome), this device keeps it straightforward. While I appreciate the added features like WiFi and Bluetooth in sous vides like the Anova, I’ve realized they aren’t essential. The key is the ability to manually adjust settings directly on the unit, which “Sous Vide Machines” offers flawlessly. The trend towards requiring apps for appliances like sous vides is overdone. (Hello Joule and Breville!) After all, we don’t need an app for a toaster oven, so why a sous vide? The “Sous Vide Machines” strikes the perfect balance between functionality and ease, proving that the best cooking tools are those that keep it simple. In summary, for a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly cooking experience, the “Sous Vide Machines” is an excellent choice. It highlights that, when it comes to kitchen appliances, less can indeed be more.
Good basic immersion heater. This water heater / circulator is priced right and works the same as more expensive heaters. I use it on daily basis to cook meat and to do reheating without overcooking. I like the colored band that lets me see the status of the heater, whether it is preheating, heating normally, or shut off. I would prefer that the heater not have a 2-hour timer by default and instead allow for an untimed mode where the heater just stays on by default. The timer takes two seconds of button pressing for each hour of time set, so for a 24-hour cook, I have to stand there for 48 seconds holding the timer. The manufacturer should change the firmware to have an exponential speed up on the timer, so that it is not necessary to press and hold the button as long. With exponential speed up, the first two seconds of pressing gives you 1 hour, the next gives you 2 hours, the next gives you 4 hours, the next gives you 8 hours, etc, so that it only takes about 10 seconds for a very long cook times.

Good, with a few caveats. It works within a few degrees. I have to adjust mine up to get the temperature I want. My bigger concern is the clip that attaches it to the pot or box. It seems flimsy and tends to fall off altogether. And as some other people have noted, if you want to cook for many hours the timer only moves up a minute at a time, so you have to push the timer button a lot. Mine registered in Celsius, but I learned somewhere that if you hold the temperature button down for 2 seconds it will change to Fahrenheit. Easier for this American! For under $50 it gets the job done, and as I don’t anticipate using it daily it is just fine for my needs. Very quiet, rings that indicate heating are very helpful. Good water circulation.
Works well as you’d like. Simple, works like you want it. Needs higher water than most others. I use it often would recommend. Not loud at all, it comes apart for cleaning. Easy to use
Accurate temp and time control. Low and slow cooking times. I took my first step into Sous Vide cooking but not in the traditional style. I used the Sous Vide machine to cook a pressed ham for sandwich meat. I was surprised how good the meat tasted. Way different from storebought. I need to experiment with times and temps, and, I need to use about 1/2 pound less in the meat press. I stuffed 2.5 lbs. into the pot and it was a little too much and the heavy spring pushed out a lot of juice. BUT, no problem for me, I just slathered on some mayo and made a great tasting sandwich.I am sold on this style of cooking and I can’t wait to try new recipes. My Vpcok Sous Vide machine worked like a charm. And after I re-read the instructions a couple times I figured out the timer and temp controls. After that it was smooth sailing. One thing I did wrong…I used a pot that was too big and too tall for the cooking machine and ran out of water once. Practice makes perfect, so I better get stared. Thanks Amazon and thank you Vpcok for a nice easy to use piece of kitchenware. I will recommend the brand and that Amazon is the place to buy it.Update: I am trying to use the sous vide machine for making pressed meat in a Ham Press. The Press lid is about 7″ high and finding the right pan to hang the sous vide machine on so I van make sure I have enuf water but not so much that water runs inside the press. I also did use it for cooking meat in a vacuum bag and it was easy to find a middle measurement of water. I wonder, do any one of you use the sous vide machine to cook in a meat press?

Amazing Sous Vide Machine. I recently purchased a Vpcok Sous Vide Machine, and it has completely transformed my cooking experience. This device is incredibly easy to use, even for beginners like me. The touch interface is intuitive, and the adjustable clip fits perfectly with all my pots and pans. One of the standout features is the 360-degree circulation, which ensures that my food is cooked evenly every time. The 1000 watts of heating power means it heats up quickly and maintains a consistent temperature, which is crucial for sous vide cooking. I also love the ring-shaped indicator light that lets me check the status of my food at a glance. The included recipe book has been a fantastic resource, providing me with plenty of ideas to get started. I’ve already made perfectly cooked steaks, chicken, and even some delicious vegetables. The results are always tender and flavorful, far better than traditional cooking methods.

Game-Changer for Home Cooks – Easy, Precise, and Delicious Results. Alright, I didn’t think I’d get this excited about a kitchen gadget, but this sous vide is a game-changer! I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and let me tell you, the hype is real.First off, the flavor is unreal! I’ve made steak, chicken, and even some veggies, and they turn out SO tender and juicy every time. It’s like magic. You just set the temp, throw your food in a bag, clip it to the side, and let it do its thing. No babysitting, no stress—just perfectly cooked food. The setup is super easy, too. I was worried it’d be complicated, but the display is clear, and you can set the temp and time in seconds. Plus, the light ring changes colors (red, green, blue) to show you what stage it’s in. Kind of love that I can glance over and know exactly what’s going on.The water circulates constantly, so everything cooks evenly. No hot or cold spots, which is a lifesaver for someone who doesn’t want to worry about overcooking or drying things out. And it heats up pretty fast, so you’re not waiting forever to get started. And can we talk about the price? For what it does, this thing is seriously affordable. I’ve looked at other models that cost way more, and I honestly don’t see a huge difference. If you’re curious about sous vide cooking but don’t want to splurge, this is the perfect starter. If you’re even a little bit of a foodie, you need this in your life. I’m officially a sous vide convert. It’s easy, it’s fun, and it makes your food taste amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
