  1. For work environments that require long standing:. This is now my second pair of these shoes for work purposes. My job requires standing all day, so finding a comfortable, breatheable, cost effective non slip shoe was a neccessity, and these check all the boxes. The only quality issue I had during my first ownership was the rubber on the very front point of the shoes started peeling along the edges slightly but was cosmetic only. I work in a very tough environment so I am not suprised the shoes wore out completely in a little over one year. In easier environments they should last much longer. I am not a fan of the memory foam insoles although they seem like a good idea, do not provide much support or comfort after standing for 10 hours. Pairing these with a good supportive insole makes for a super supportive work shoe that does an incredible job of taking the discomfort out of standing for long periods. Beware however that because these do not have shoelaces and the opening is designed to stretch to get your feet in, there is no ankle support whatsoever so taking the wrong step at an angle will cause the shoe to roll underneath your foot and you will roll your ankle a few times wearing these. Despite this, they still stay perfectly tight to your feet all day long as long as you do not twist your ankles and do not ever feel loose, and for me it is worth it to not have to tie shoe laces multiple times a day.

  2. Room for Improvement. Here’s my initial review after 4 days and 10 miles.I am a 6′ 7″ 245lb man who works a food service job currently and I figured hey, why not, I’ll roll the dice, these shoes look sharp, they’re in my hard to find size, and I’m sure they’ll hold up to water splashing over my feet with sink work, which they do quite well. Whatever water isn’t deflected is wicked, or so it seems. The shoes look sharp in either a casual or professional setting, though I take issue with the build quality. On day two , the insoles already began to crumble. You will need to replace these immediately, and I would recommend investing in a higher quality insole. Memory foam insoles feel like you’re walking through sand. The outer shell seems of decent quality, it’s done right. The soles, however, feel almost hollow, and feels as if they could be pierced easily if not utilized in the intended food service environment, being clean, hard floors. Kudos on the anti-slip, that works. The bungee “laces” lack a toggle to tighten the shoe, and is sewn into a single fabric eyelet. This is easily overcome with a seam ripper, a pair of scissors and another quality of life improving purchase of a bungee lace kit with toggles and clasps. Other than these drawbacks, and putting in a little more work in, I feel like I could comfortably ride these shoes for at least a year. Remember, work shoes are use items, and will require replacement eventually. So, to recapPros -Professional LookSlip On Design which is novelWater ResistantAnti SlipFits Like a Glove – in more than one wayOk, but not excellent price point for what you getCons-Bungee laces come as is, and can’t be tightened properly, due to lack of hardware, and because it’s sewn inInsoles that they’re shipped with are not prime time readyNarrow use case outside professional environmentBuilt like something you replace once a year to a year and a half, which is fine, but know what you’re getting.Overall view – Consider my score a 3.5 out of 5. After a little bit of mild work, these shoes could be your daily driver, for as long as they last.

Good shoe. I’ve been buying these shoes for the past 2 years and buy at least 2 pairs per year and I have yet to think about buying different type of shoe. They are comfortable, good to work in, breathable and durable for a netted shoe. I will continue to buy thus type of shoe.

Perfect. The perfect work shoes. I work in a bar… constantly on my feet and moving around on wet floors… most non-slips I’ve still caught myself sliding around in but these have great traction. They do run slightly big though… which is probably the point of the relaxed fit but it’s the only thing that bothered me a little.

  5. Great shoes but seem to have gotten smaller. I’ve been buying these shoes for the past two years and I’ve never considered switching to a different type. They are so comfortable and easy to slip on and off. However my last pair I bought was the same size 12 I’ve gotten the past two times but for some reason my toes are crammed in the front which is very uncomfortable. They usually don’t need to be broken in so I figured that I’d give it a couple weeks to loosen up but a month later there’s still no change. I doubt my feet got bigger but idk what else it could be. Despite this I love these shoes so much I just went a head and bought another pair, this time size 12 wide. Hopefully the wide variant will do they trick!

  6. Great value. I am on my feet all day long at work. These last about 6 months and I then buy new ones. I then use the old pair for another 6 months for yard work as I live in Florida and need yard shoes 22 months out of the year.Surprisingly very stylish. I’ve had many folks ask what brand of shoes they are. Very low profile. Great if u dont like showing off name brands!Super easy to take on and off and they fit me snug until around the 6 month mark. They will last a lot longer if you dont use them to death like I do.

  7. Great, comfortable fit for a uniquely shaped foot. Bought a pair that was similar but a different style a year ago and had to replace them as I literally walked holes through the rubber soles. They were the best shoes I’ve ever had. Bought these put of necessity and while the shoes hurt to wear the first couple pf days, these took far less time than the last pair I owned and are even better.I have extremely wide feet at the toes due to growing up “toe-walking” with a very narrow heel, so on the rare occasion I can find shoes that fit my width even a little, my heel comes put when I walk. My feet would also rip them apart within months. The slightly stretchy material of these shoes accommodate my wide toes but keep my heels in place. My last pair didn’t suffer any damage due to my feet and only due to normal wear and tear.I even bought a size 11 (no wide) and it fits my weird feet fantastically. If you have a similar issue with your feet, give them a try!

  8. Surprise in the Snow. I purchased this shoe as well as a pair of the Skecher Afterburn M tennis shoes. I wanted a dedicated work shoe, because I was going though my shoes pretty quickly from wearing the same pair all the time. So, being that I had already had two previous pairs of the “Afterburn” shoe, and burned through each of them in just over a year respectively, I decided to get another pair of them and also get a pair of the Cessnock Food Service Shoe strictly for work. Both pairs of shoes arrived yesterday, and today I wore the Food Service shoe (FSS) to work for the first time.I slipped them on and found them to be a perfect fit. They are very light weight and comfortable. Usually, I find new shoes need a few days of wear to break-in until they really conform to the shape of your foot and then begin to fit well, but that wasn’t the case with these FSS shoes; they fit perfectly the moment I put them on.I wore them all day at work and discovered something that really surprised me. We had a snowstorm today and got about 2” by the time I got to work, and had a good 7” by the end of my shift. I park outside so of course I have to brush the snow off the car. After doing so I knocked the snow off my shoes before getting into the car. I was surprised to see that the snow didn’t stick to the material on top of the shoes, it was as if there was a water repellant in/on the material. I was sort of wondering why my feet weren’t getting cold while I was cleaning off my car and I guess that explains it. Another surprise was the fact that these shoes make no sound when walking on a tile floor while having wet soles. The “Afterburn” tennis shoes squeak like a rusty hinge when the bottom of the shoe is wet and you walk across tile or other such surfaces, but the FSS’s, are quiet as a mouse, not a sound comes from them, you could almost call them Ninja shoes. As for the style, well that’s a personal preference and these shoes suit me just fine. I think they look sharp, and nobody even noticed I had a new pair of shoes on today.Durability is the unanswered question and being that I’ve only worn them one day, that question will remain unanswered for a while. If I can get a solid two years out of them, just wearing them to work, I will definitely buy them again and certainly would recommend them to a friend.I hope this review helps with your decision. Peace.

  9. Comfy and affordable. I’ve been in the bar/restaurant industry for well over a decade and these have become my favorite non slip shoes. I ordered the men’s because it was nearly $20 cheaper than the women’s version for whatever reason. Same exact shoe.Still comfortable during doubles (12+ hr shifts)Definitely non slip and lightweight!

  10. Great nonslip shoe. The last similar (same brand) pair I bought lasted almost 2 years before the soles became slippery. So I went again with the same brand. They’re lightweight and the slip on style is great for work. They stay cool and are very comfortable. Perfect for my work, but obviously not recommended for really wet work areas. But they do dry out fast if you get them wet. Nice and flexible as well, with good arch support.
