Simple Solution Training Puppy Pads – 6 Layer Dog Pee Pads, Absorbs Up to 6 Cups of Liquid – 23x24in – 100 Count

Perfect Pad. I live in an apartment with a 6lb Yorkie, and have been frustrated with the training pads I’ve bought in the past on Amazon (most recently Gridlock Housebreaking Pet Training Pads – 100 Pack, Four Paws Wee-Wee Puppy Housebreaking Pads, 150-Pack and IRIS Neat ‘n Dry Floor Protection and Training Pet Pads, Regular, 100 Count). It seems that the pads I’ve bought either:1) Don’t absorb liquid fast enough, and the dog ends up tracking it around the apartment, or2) Liquid spreads out too far / quickly, requiring me to change the pad after only one or two usesI’ve been trying to buy different brands, hoping to find one that strikes a good balance between the two issues, while still at a reasonable price. I’m happy to say that these pads are that solution! The liquid absorbs immediately, and without spreading out too far. And I’m able to leave a pad down for at least one or two days, with frequent use, before it fills up and needs to be changed. And most importantly, I can do so without it smelling AND without leaking.If you have a larger dog your experience may vary, but for me, my search is over. Will be buying these going forward.

BEST Dog Pads I have found on Amazon/Web/Local Stores. I have tried several brands and only these work as they should. These are truly the best Dog Pee Pads and perfectly ABSORBENT.My dog, who is 17 years old, has to be confined, unfortunately. Great. *This is going to be very long, due to my thorough testing of various brands, but the information learned is worth it if you want to save money/save environment/save yourself a ton of trouble*Two factors that lead to my experiments with various brands of pee pads:1.I’m poor, and I wanted to find the most economical/“bang for my buck” brand and2. I work long hours and have two VERY large dogs that normally get taken out to potty, but are also trained to go on pee pads if nobody is home and they have to go. Let me tell you- these guys produce as much urine per pee as a large beer-drinking adult male lol. Needless to say, I’ve tried many different brands to see if they’re up to the task, and I’ve had to clean up SO many overflows, even if I do 2 or 3 layers of disposable pee pads.So far, the Simple Solution “All Day” variety (NOT the regular kind) have been the absolute best at absorbing the largest quantity of urine without leaking for their size.I’ve also done my own tests to measure the max limit of cups of water each brand can absorb, and the “All Day” pads by Simple Solution far out-absorb their competitors. I could get a full 8 cups before it started overflowing or leaking.The next best brand was Four Paws “Wee Wee Pads”, but their normal pads and their “extra absorbent” pads had VERY little difference in the actual quantity of water absorbed. 2.5-3 cups in regular vs 3.5 in the extra absorbent. Psh. But they did perform better and prevent more leaks than a bunch of other lower end pads I tried.After a few months of buying pee pads and seeing how many trash bags I filled up each week, tossing them out each day, I felt so guilty for the constant amount of plastic waste that it was producing, and I also got tired of paying for another box of pads each week! So I forayed into the world of washable pee pads. There are an endless number of brands and some are labeled for people (bedwetting children or the elderly, etc) and some labeled for pets, but as far as how they function and their absorbency, THERES NO DIFFERENCE except the ones for pets may have a cute bone pattern. (Some claim they have an attractant, but my dogs peed on whatever I put in the area they were used to having pee pads in, so I can’t verify).I tried multiple brands of reusable pads, with a wide variety of quality and absorbency (some were just complete trash) but the absolute BEST one that I found was the IMPROVIA reusable underpad. Unlike others I tried, it has special channels that wick the wetness to the outer edges, where the fabric ALLOWS THE WATER PORTION TO EVAPORATE. WTF!? I was skeptical as always, but after putting it out during the day, when I came home it almost felt dry! Not soaked and heavy like the other brands I had tried. Not only that, but it didn’t stink of pee in the house, either! Most Absorbent Pads. We have a 14 year old chihuahua who has decided she wants to do her business in the house. For such a little dog she sure can pass a lot of urine at one time! These pads hold a lot without any leakage through the bottom or sides. I will definitely keep ordering these because they are the best I have used.

Perfect Pee Pads for Poppy the Puppy. These pads work better than the SoPhresh ones that I had been purchasing at PetCo. They were also slightly less expensive when I purchased them. The SoPhresh ones in the same size only hold 3 cups of “liquid”. The Simple Solution Training Pads say the hold 6 cups of “liquid”. Not sure about that, but I will take their word for it. Our Aussiedoodle don’t seem to like to chew up these pads like she has other. Another bonus is when opening its package, I don’t smell a strong plastic or chemical smell. We have purchased these several times.

Saved my floors. My dog uses these everyday (one pad per day). It was such a great puppy pee pad that we continued it for indoor potty breaks for our little dog as he’s grown the past couple years. We stick these pads into a silicon mat and they stay put. The size is much better than the ones that are the same brand as the silicon mats. The price is right and I will continue to buy these!!!

The puppy pads absorb awesome. First time using puppy pads in a very long time and they work very well, even if they pee near the edge.

Tried and true. We have an elder pup who sometimes cannot make it through the night without going to the bathroom. These pads hold up, even when she has a lot of urine. Other pads are not as good. We do have to use the trays in partner with the pads to ensure she doesn’t pee off the pad but it works for us! We have two clip in trays. Then we put an extra pad in the middle because she tends to like to pee between the two trays. This arrangement works splendidly.

Absorbant. I’ve used thus brand for five years first my puppies which are two years apart and now for my 18 year old cat. They do hold a lot of fluid the trick is the pet needs to pee away from the outside of the pad. No order after it is wet, good qaulity, and the size fits perfectly with some under the cat box . The are about 10 more online then in the store. I used to buys these at pet club for 22.99 to 24.99 the exact same thing. The reason why I didn’t this time is because the state I moved to doesn’t have a petclub.
