Works AMAZING. The media could not be loaded. I was recommended this vacuum by a friend. But I was reading all the comments and the only negative thing I seen was about how it was “loud”. In my mind I don’t understand why that’s such a big deal when it’s a blow dryer it’s not like it’s gunna be used when a baby is sleeping but whatever. It’s not any louder (maybe even quieter) than a blow dryer. Amazon only lets me upload 1 video but I washed and dried 6 dogs with this yesterday. The smallest being my 45lb Australian Shepherd to the 60lb Belgian Malinois to the 95lb German Shepherd. (Yes I have a lot of dogs) Perfection. It was pretty cold and slightly windy outside so the heater option is perfect. It’s so powerful for such a little thing. The longest dog to dry was the Red Merle Australian Shepherd in the video. He took maybe a total of 35-40 minutes to dry. He’s a big boy and I take my time with him cause he really loved it and he’s an old man (11) so what ever he likes he gets at this point. I also used it to blow out their undercoats cause with 6 dogs the house gets outs of control with dog hair. Did perfectly.Some of my dogs wernt happy about the noise (just because of the dog not the machine) I also paired the ones who didn’t care for it with the little scarf muff thing (not included separate amazon item) and then they were fine.I used the heck out of this thing. I love the adjustable speed and the heating option. That it’s compact and tiny and gets the job done. It doesn’t feel cheap at all I was shocked when it came in. For the price I was expecting something more flimsy but it’s SOLID. If for some reason this thing doesn’t last (cause I will use and abuse it trust me) absolutely I will buy it again.
I can groom my doggies at home now. In between professional groomings, I bathe my fur babies myself. I used to go out to a facility that has the proper equipment, which was just plain tedious. Had to take them one at a time, so multiple trips. Plus the inconvenience of having to go out to do that whenever they got muddy or dirty in my backyard. And I had to pay to use that facility, obviously.With this dryer, I can now do them in the comfort of my own house, whenever the need arises.I have one Shihtzu-Maltese mix, and one Maltipoo mix. Their fur is impossible to towel dry alone, and a human blow dryer is woefully inadequate. And far too loud for such a small air flow.This dryer is surprisingly quiet, considering how powerful it is. I start it off at the lowest speed and begin blowing, and then slowly bump the speed up to where I need it. They are not freaked out by the sound at all.Drying time is significantly lower than when I used to use a human dryer. Time to dry the dog with the heavier coat of fur, about 15 minutes from start to finish.And the quality of drying is better by far. Their undercoat is properly dry now, and I’m perfectly able to dry, comb and smoothe their fur without difficulty.The hose is nice and long, so the motor does not have to be too close to the dog. For my height, I dry them on my kitchen island. The dryer is heavy enough to hold itself down in one place on the counter when it is running, so I don’t have to worry about it toppling over. When I wave the hose around, the base stands firm and does not shift at all.There are several attachments; I’ve only used one, and it is perfect for my use. It attaches securely, and has not come loose, despite me waving it back and forth on high flow to dry my doggies.Great value for money too. For what I paid for it, I would have paid that amount for one single grooming for one of my two dogs. So it paid for itself with the first use.I have zero complaints. Best money I’ve spent to be able to do perfect grooming any time they need a bath, without having to leave my home with one dog at a time. And I will save myself TONS of future grooming money too.Fantastic. Best pet equipment purchase by far this year. Highly highly highly recommend!

Powerful and a nice size. This dryer is great! I have a standard poodle who is groomed entirely at home, so I bought this dryer since he has reached a size where the human blow dryer no longer gets the job done. The SHELANDY dryer is just what I needed. It cuts the blow dry time in half (or possibly even shorter). In total for my 60 lb poodle with medium length body hair, long hair on head, tail, and ankles, it probably took about 40 minutes (I do towel-dry thoroughly first. I would recommend that everyone does). With the human blow dryer, I’d be lucky to have my dog 75% dry in an hour, so this is a huge improvement.The dryer is loud enough to make me want ear plugs and I didn’t even turn it up to full power, so be aware of that for you and your dog’s sake. I tried out the heating element for a few minutes and I personally didn’t think it was necessary for what I was doing, but I think I will find it useful in the winter. The hose gets pretty warm even without the heat on, and with the heat on it was getting hot (not the air, just the hose). I’m not sure if that’s a concern or not.All in all, I would recommend this for anyone who bathes and/or grooms at home, especially for those who have dogs that require more tedious coat care.
Life changer if you have huskies. Even if your not bathing your dog and they’re a big shedder, this is a great tool for getting rid of loose hair. I take my 2 huskies into the back yard and blow them out a couple times a month and it’s noticeably cut down on the shedding in the house. It’s very powerful and easily gets under the fur to work out the loose undercoat. The fact that the heater can be turned off separate from the air is great.After a bath my huskies would stay wet for almost 4 hours. A hair dryer is just not strong enough to get under their fur and it would take about an hour to dry them completely. With the heat turned on this thing takes me about 10 minutes each to dry them out.
seemed to have enough power and did a good job drying her. This dryer was used for our little dog that we decided to groom ourselves…. after we discovered she was discovered she was not being treated very well at the groomer. We decided to do her at home ourselves. This dryer was quiet and very powerful to dry her in a short amount of time….it had different temperatures from cool to warm etc. it was very nice and we would recommend it..

Awesome BUT. This is 5 star review and it works great as described and as intended. The. post powerful dryer and does it work. HOWEVER little heads up. When you turn it on even at the lowest speed hold onto nozzle. LOL. It will literally get away from even on LOW! Heat works, just takes a little bit to warm up. I have SMALL furbabies that I groom and you will NOT need to go past the very lowest setting and hold it FAR away from them. Long hair or short. Dogs HATE IT for it is very powerful. This dry. would work great on a floor stand or table holder so you can block the forced air flow. CAN”T imagine the use of any speed higher. Even on a big dog. This review is great but just letting buyers beware that this dryer is very powerful even on low. Might want to search for a lighter force or go back to a hand held hair dryer. LOL. JUST FYI to give an example what it is like. Commercial HUMAN hand dryers in the bathroom wash area is how powerful it is on LOW ! LOL
best affordable dryer ever. The media could not be loaded. after working at a dog salon and becoming a stay at home mom, i decided to do them myself at the house and i love this dryer. it dries fast and helps deshed my shep/husky mix and my golden/springer mix. what it doesn’t blow out, a slicker brush and metal comb gets out perfectly. it doesn’t get too hot (i don’t use the warm setting anyway), it’s lightweight and easy to carry around, good force power, and it’s honestly a great size for home use (outside!!).
Strong and effective. Quiet and strong, only thing is the heating element is weak but truly I’d buy this again. We have a long hair German shepherd and she has a crazy thick coat. This cut straight through and she was fully dry in about 30 minutes.
Great dryer. Great dryer! Use on my golden doodle to dry after weekly bath. This dryer after two uses has been impressive, easy to use and well made. Can feel it blowing small water droplets from her fur before getting her dry. Has shortened grooming time and even though she is a bit timid the sound volume doesn’t bother her.
Compact and Powerful. I was using a hand held human hair dryer before I opted to purchase this for my Bichon. I like that it has a long hose. I like that it is very powerful. I like that it has a heat feature. I don’t like that I will have to buy something to hold the hose if I want to work hands free. I don’t like that it is so loud and doesn’t have a lower setting. My dog is terrorizied by the sound and the feel. It came with lots of attachements, but I only need the one. It is a professional unit, and I am far from a pro, but, it gets the job done quicker.
Nice dryer. Dryer has plenty of power and is quiet for a pet dryer. I wish the heat was a little more substantial, but is is warm enough. Nice option foradjusting air and plenty of attachments. I have no idea why the manufacturers of pet dryers have opted for the weird hose ring attachment – seems destined to be lost or broken, but time will tell. Other than those few things, very happy with this purchase and this is after trying several other dryers.
Great Dryer. I use this as a dog groomer & a husky owner, it does the job! This is my second one in 5 years so they definitely last, very good quality & easy to use. This newer model is really nice, I like how it’s a little more quite than the original & a little lighter. Speed, drying time & attachments are still just as amazing!
“A tornado flew around my room before you came…”. This dryer definitely cut down the drying time. I even used it to dry my clothes in between bathing and drying each of the five puppies. So I would say it works very well. It has two heat settings, and a knob that turns the airflow up and down. It comes with a few attachments (that also work well), some basic instructions, and one additional filter.However, the lowest airflow is a helicopter landing or hovering in your room. I literally used it to clean my ceiling and ceiling fan. No more swiffers or ladders for this gyal. I’ll just use my jet disguised as a pet dryer, lol. Hopefully my puppies will adjust to the noise, because it honestly does work amazingly well, and left their fur so fluffy. Downside is the sound, and the hose does heat up after several minutes of continuous use. So be aware of those things. Luckily I live in a rural area, so it probably just sounds like a small plane passing overhead to the neighbours.It is compact and easy to use. Mind the instructions on the direction you dry the fur. Great dryer. Great dryer! Had to return two dryers, to Amazon and a pet store, due to malfunctioning buttons, misaligned attachments. Crappy dryers. This dryer is great. Heater puts out just enough heat that I don’t have to worry about my dogs’ getting to hot. Both heat and air flow adjustable. At highest setting the dryer is powerful. All attachments fit correctly. No issues.
Powerful dryer that works great on my dog. I’ve been using the pet dryer for grooming at home, and it’s been a huge upgrade from using a regular blow-dryer. This thing has a ton of power, and it cuts drying time way down, especially after baths. The adjustable airflow is nice because I can start lower around my dog’s face and crank it up for the body.The included nozzles are handy, and the hose is flexible enough to move around easily. It’s also not as loud as I expected for how strong it is, which helps keep my dog calmer during grooming. The heater option is a nice touch too—warm but not too hot.Overall, it feels well-made, works fast, and has made grooming at home so much easier. Great value for the price.
Works great on poodles. This dryer is amazing for the price! It quickly dries my Standard Poodle and has made bathing him so much easier to do at home! It is great quality and the heat level is perfect. I would definitely repurchase if I needed a second dryer in the future!
A Total Game Changer for At Home Grooming. The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Shelandy Professional Pet Dryer because I have a Golden Retriever with a very thick double coat, and drying him at home used to be such a struggle. In fact, I actually broke my regular hairdryer trying to dry him — that’s when I knew I needed something made specifically for pets.This dryer has been an absolute lifesaver. It’s powerful, yet very easy to control with adjustable power settings. I love that you can use it with heat or no heat, depending on what your pet needs. The different attachments are fantastic, but my favorite is the brush attachment because I can blow-dry and brush him at the same time — it makes the whole process so efficient.What used to take me over an hour now takes just 10–15 minutes, which makes both me and my dog so much happier. No more soaking wet fur everywhere or exhausted arms!I also use this dryer on my English Bulldog, who is afraid of almost everything, and surprisingly, she doesn’t mind this dryer at all. Great. This dog hair dryer is amazing! It works really well and makes drying my dog much faster and easier. The airflow is strong but not too loud, so it doesn’t scare my dog. It’s easy to use and feels high quality. This has made grooming at home so much better. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!
Very budget friendly for hobbiest and pros alike👍🏻. Awesome dryer and a great deal! Very powerful and fairly quiet, I like that it comes with a replacement filter and multiple attachments. Honestly a way better deal than the Flying Pig brand that’s 2x the price, easy to use, built sturdy and works well, it is a little heavy but I’ll be mounting it to the wall of my shop so I’m not too worried about portability, overall it’s a really good dryer for the price and got it delivered in under 3 hours! Great buy 10/10
