EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW. Overall, they work. These do not require the Sengled hub. These work with Amazon’s Echo Plus. You will not be able to connect more than 4 without putting them into pairing mode (flip the light switch on 10 times quickly, they should start blinking, shut the light off, click “discover devices” than turn it back on). This will fix that problem 100%.This ARE dimmable. “Dimmer incompatible” refers to sliding switches. You will not be able to dim with a dimmer switch, but through Alexa and the App, you definitely can. Out of 10 I’m using, all 10 have a decent range. They are not 1,2,3,4,5% like the phillips hue, but they are fairly functional. Probably 5% per step.IF YOU PLAN TO USE WITH Sengled HUB: Don’t. Their software is garbage, look at the reviews on the app store. There are 3 separate apps, and they all have about 2.5/5 rating for a reason. If you get it to work, don’t forget your password as it WILL NOT send you a password reset link.Customer service is subpar at best.Setup description and details on how to get it to go into pairing mode or resetting them is 0/10 as there is no details included and the website makes this information hard to find.Overall: If you really can’t afford Phillips Hue, or want Daylight smart bulbs like me – you can use these. They’re very cheap, and fully functional. I’ve got them in every room (until Phillips Hue comes out with a daylight bulb).I’m not upset I bought them, as they are CHEAP and with CHEAP stuff you have to work harder. These are a pain to setup (if using more than 4 with Alexa). WiFi vs Bluetooth. I tried a Senled Bluetooth bulb and this Senled WiFi bulb with Alexa. WiFi bulbs are much cheaper. Both, ultimately, work well and seamlessly with Alexa, at least in my simple setup of lightbulbs in rooms where an Echo is nearby and wifi is strong. The Bluetooth bulb set up easily. Screw it in, tell Alexa to discover new devices, and bang, you’re done. That particular bulb also has a color-changing feature that’s fun and useful, because you can not only change colors through the spectrum but also adjust the color temperature of the white light. I recommend that bulb, Dimmable LED Bulb A19 E26 Multicolor. This bulb, the WiFi version, is more complicated to set up. You must download an app and open an account. Then grant various permissions to the app before you can use it. The Senled skill has to be enabled on your Alexa. Then you can set up the bulb in the app, which is straightforward but redundant if you plan to control the light exclusively through Alexa. You’ve already set up your rooms, zones, scenes, or whatever with Alexa, so why must you do it again for Senled? But you do.But if you’re comfortable with this sort of thing it’s easy enough, and when you’re done the bulb will work with Alexa just as your others do. The 60W-equivalent light is as bright as expected, and is a pleasant soft-white color that’s pretty standard for indoor lighting.Obviously the other disadvantage of the WiFi model is that it requires your wifi to be working, but that’s also true of systems that use external hubs, so it’s hardly a big deal. But the Bluetooth one just needs your Echo to be powered up, even if wifi is down.IMO, the onetime setup hassle is worth it for the much lower cost and, of course, adding more WiFi bulbs is much simpler since you’ve already done the work.Bottom line: It’s a great thing that you can use your Echo and these quite inexpensive smart bulbs to achieve voice-controlled lighting so easily and cheaply.
Great Motion Detector Floodlight. Am very happy my brother in law recommended these flood light bulbs. They are the perfect accessory bulb for my location. I don’t like to have to leave a flood light on during the daytime hours just because I want it on when coming home later in the dark. Doing that is a tell tale sign that your home is likely vacant during the daytime. This fits the bill because I no longer have to do that, or stumble around in the dark if I am outside. I would certainly purchase these again if or when the bulb burned out. For anyone wanting a motion detector floodlight that would not be really bright, but just bright, this light bulb might not be the one for you. But if you wanted one that gave off bright light that covers a fairly large area, this one is perfect.Just want to update this review – January 1, 2021Still love the light these bulbs give out, and still would recommend them. However, one bulb already is not working. The other one is working fine, Hoping this is just a fluke, as it should last longer than 2 months.
Bright and easy to use. These are great! Compared to other smart led bulbs these are the brightest, and we tried quite a few. I have one at my work bench and have no trouble seeing small parts, but can dim it for projects that don’t need a bright light. Easy to use with Alexa as well as the Sengled app. We had issues at first with them not staying connected, but after the bulbs underwent a firmware update we’ve had no more issues. As far as longevity, we haven’t had them long, but they’re well made and should last a long while. Highly recommended!

Install Sengled app to configure. I was able to configure these lights with the Sengled app and the Sengled skill in the Alexa app. Took some time to configure 4 of them as you need to configure each one individually. Works well once configured correctly. Unsure of longevity as I have only had them 2 months.** Recent power outage made all of them stop responding. Resolution is to unplug echo for 10 seconds to reset.
Almost three years later. Still going strong with zero issues out of it. Set the mode and brightness once, haven’t had to mess with it since (even after power outages and such, the bulb just seems to remember the last brightness and mode you had it in). Like a Ronco kitchen appliance, you can literally set it and forget it with this bulb, and it will keep doing its job for years.
50/50. I bought a pack of four, and 2 out of 4 have stopped working. It’s definitely the Sengled brand. I have a Bluetooth one that was supposed to connect to Alexa it worked one time, and then we lost power, and it stopped working. I’ve tried calling Amazon, and Sengled was on the phone with both of them for an hour while they troubleshoot. Both companies are quick to point the finger. Also, have to have Sengled Bluetooth app to work one and Sengled wifi app to work the rest. The wifi app works with Alexa but not the Bluetooth. I have three different styles of bulbs that are wifi connected with Sengled. One is for the outside and 2 different size in the house. All have the same problem half of them have stopped working after 6 months.
Easy setup and nice app. I have six of these in my house now. No hub required – just WiFi. Easy setup and they just work. App is convenient and efficient to use.
USELESS PRODUCT/BRAND AS A SMART LIGHT. These bulbs are fine if for some reason you’re paying a premium for smart bulbs but only using them as regular lights you turn on/off manually. Otherwise, they are TOTALLY USELESS as a smart light. The lights only stay online for about an hour or two, and then they disconnect and become unresponsive, requiring you to manually turn them off and then back on to reconnect them for another 1-2 hours. That being the case, there is no way you can possibly make practical use of them as smart lights. I will be returning this and buying a different brand (probably Amazon Basics smart bulbs since I’d imagine they were best designed with Echo connectivity in mind).I would avoid Sengled as a brand altogether, because it seems this problem isn’t just isolated to this product. A month earlier, I got a free color-changing Sengled smart lightbulb with my Echo Pop purchase, and that lightbulb has basically the same problem, except that it will go for much longer before disconnecting and needing to be reset (usually 1-2 days). I bought these lights because I thought the problem would’ve probably only been with that one bulb, and I liked it for its relatively easy setup/connectivity otherwise, so I decided to give Sengled another chance and bought these bulbs, only to regret it. Whatever the issue is, it seems to probably affect all of their WiFi Smart Lightbulbs. I can’t speak to the Bluetooth ones, but I’d imagine they work better since BT isn’t normally connected 24/7 anyway. But BT does not give you the degree of control WiFi offers with your smart home, so I don’t normally buy those.

Warning! Defective bulbs can be fire hazards and customer service is useless. Bought a pack of 4 lights and the initial install was pretty disappointing, had to connect and disconnect the bulbs in the app several times before they connected properly with the exception of one bulb that just would not stay connected. After many more rounds of working with the one bulb still giving issues I decided to just leave it and replace it. When I came back, the defective bulb was HOT and smelled like something was burning. I removed it and reached out to customers service letting them know about the issue. I asked if I could get a replacement for the single bulb that was defective instead of sending back the whole lot since they were already installed in a very high fixture and were a pain to do so. After asking for my proof of purchase I didn’t hear back from them, I had to send 2 emails to finally receive a reply to which they told me to go through Amazon for a return. I explained yet again that given the rest of the lights were working properly I didn’t want to have to send the whole lot back just to replace 1 bulb and asked again if we could have them send me a replacement. I have yet to receive a reply so I’ll be sending them all back and will go with a different brand who will hopefully be more reliable.

Genuinely so impressed. I’m SO impressed with these. Purchased in December 2023 so I’ve had them for 9 months now. They were super easy to set up. I have them set on a schedule in the app. I use these for my outside lights at my front and side doors. They turn on at dusk and off at dawn. I like to keep them on when it’s dark for security reasons. They’re the perfect brightness, soft and not obnoxiously bright but bright enough so that I can see what’s on my cameras or find the keyhole to open the door. I bought the 4 pack so when these die I still have the back ups to replace them before having to buy more. Excellent value for the price for the longevity. 10/10
These work well, set up was relatively easy. The media could not be loaded. I have owned several wi-fi smart bulbs. They all pretty much work the same. You plug them in, connect through an app, then find them in Alexa (if you are using the with Alexa).I have a bias towards only needing one app, so I prefer the Tuya / Smart Life devices so that I don’t need 50 apps on my phone. That being said, I had th Singled app on my phone for another device, and these connected flawlessly. That is a plus, as sometimes I find I have to do multiple attempts when using the Tuya/Smart Life generic bulbs. The bulbs are plenty bright, and work well with Alexa. Alexa had no problems finding them and adding them to the devices. Also, I appreciate that I was able to screw in all four all bulbs to my fan/lamp at once, and did not confuse the app when it saw 4 new bulbs (as opposed to 1 at a time). I would never have dared to try that with Tuya / SmartLif.e.The bulbs are plenty bright. They respond well to Alexa commands, and work as advertised.
Affordable and Easy Way to Make Your Home Smart. I absolutely LOVE these Sengled Smart Light Bulbs! They’re incredibly affordable and have made my house feel like a smart home. Every time someone comes over, they comment, “Oh, you have a smart house!”—which always makes me smile. The bulbs work seamlessly with Alexa and Google Assistant, and they’re so easy to control with voice commands or through the app and they are easy to pair. It’s a simple upgrade that adds a lot of convenience and a modern touch to your home.I highly recommend these if you want to make your home smarter without spending a lot!

Good. I couldn’t use them but they are good
USELESS PRODUCT/BRAND AS A SMART LIGHT.

As advertised. Lights work well with my Echo devices.
