GREAT product. I have had mechanical wine openers before and found them to be more annoying and more time consuming than just using a traditional corkscrew. NOT the case w/this one. So….1. display: the charger station is small enough in size that it would fit in most any location w/o taking up too much space. For those that do not like clutter or one more “gadget” to sit out, this is a good size. The charging station has a little holder for the foil cutter as well which is great and keeps all parts together so no one has to search drawers when ready to open the bottle. There is a blue light that glows while being charged and is very pleasant to look actually and is a nice touch. so it actually looks really good sitting on top of the wine rack. Mine happens to be right next to an electrical plug on the wall so does not reveal the hanging cords or wires.2. function: works great so far and have opened quite a few bottles. very easy to use. would suggest holding the bottle by the fatter part toward the middle and then using the other hand to work the corkscrew. does not work well if the bottle sits on the counter unless you have a good solid grip on the base. Its actually easier to just pick up the bottle and do it that way. of course that’s after using the foil cutter which gives a perfect cut and removal each and every time.3. battery life: i think the product says it can be used for 30 bottle openings during a single charge. that is quite more wine that most people would be going through in an evening so i don’t think anyone would have an issue w/keeping a charge. I use it and then put directly back on the charging station as i do my mechanical salt and pepper grinders. that way, its always on the cradle and charging. as mentioned there is a blue light that glows in the actual item while its charging and i like the way it looks so would have no reason to keep it off the charger anyway.this also makes a GREAT gift especially a house warming gift to anyone who drinks wine or entertains

Size. Haven’t tried it yet. It is larger than I thought. It is nice to look at, and appears a bit more complex than I figured. I live in a small studio with a very small kitchen and I’ll give it one try if it will not harm it in any way, so I can return it as “very good” shape if I do find that it is too much for size and mechanism, for me. Will re-review if I find that to be true. Recommend seller. No shipping issues. Thank you.
Nice corkscrew. The Secura wine bottle opener works well. I bought the earlier version because it was cheaper and I read the only difference between the earlier version and the latest version is the color. People have asked if the screw goes all the way thru the cork and it does but I have not had any bits of cork in my wine. The only complaint I have is the whole bottom of the opener lights up to indicate that is is charging. I would prefer a small indicator light to show that it is charging. I am happy with my purchase.
Works pretty well. Personally I prefer a standard wine key for opening bottles but my wife prefers something that requires little or no talent. This fits the bill for that. It actually has a good amount of torque and you need to get a good grip on the bottle before you start opening. The foil cutter is probably a little better than most of the one of that style. All in all, a reasonable value for the money. I haven’t really tested it to see how many bottles it can open without recharging but it seems to recharge in a short amount of time.
Good cutter also. The only difference between this opener and the one I had previously is that this one has a pretty blue light. I think the cutter works better as well. I liked that my old one stored the cutter on the back of the stand, and the stand overall took up less counter space compared to this one. But it’s nice to be able to see the cork through the clear opening and see the blue light when charging. Satisfied with the purchase.
So far so good. The clear bottom let me see how the screw is lined up with the cork and when the cork is out of the bottle. I have not used it very much to know how long the battery life is.
Nice tool, but with a 4 year life span. I bought this on Nov. 2020, after hand surgery left me temporarily unable to do simple yet necessary tasks- like opening a wine bottle. 🤪It’s compact, nicely designed, and reliable. I kept it plugged in all the time with no issues. The only negative so far is the blue light which stays on whenever the unit is in the base, fully charged or not. (Not a fan of the many small yet bright lights from all appliances! Placing a Talking Yoda figurine in front of it blocked enough of the light to satisfy me).I found it easy to use and appreciated the foil cutter. Worked well on all types of corks.Flash forward to spring 2024… Despite the constant charging, the corkscrew dies at maybe a half inch into the cork. Just slows down and dies. Having read earlier reviews, I may try to crack it open and replace the battery. But ultimately, having regained my hand strength back, I’m more likely to go back to an old fashioned, reliable, hand operated corkscrew and celebrate the loss of weird lights and needed electricity. Conclusion: unless you are recovering from hand surgery, just get a good quality non- electric corkscrew and use it for 75 years (optimistically). Best deal ever. And you can take it camping too.

Cool gadget. My household has gone through it’s share of wine openers and this one may be the best. It comes with a small docking station for charging. Good value and easy to use. The foil cutter is included too so you get easy removal. It opens wine within seconds.
Very nice looking! Great price. Haven’t used it yet. Go figure…every wine bottle I’ve bought lately has a twist top.Boo hoo Although it’s a very nice looking device that’ll compliment your countertop. I’m sure will work well.
10/10. I rarely write Amazon reviews but this product is worth the hype and price. It’s so efficient and easy to use. I love the little blue light as well. Absolutely recommend it!
Secura Electric Wine Opener. We purchased this wonderful wine opener on September 2, 2024, but in early November it suddenly stopped extracting corks. While it was working normally, it was a godsend because my daughter and I have physical limitations that prevent easy opening of corked wine. I contacted the Secura company representetaives about the problem, and within a few days they had quickly and graciously sent us a replacement. It works beautifully, extracting the cork from the bottle and then releasing the cork effortlessly afterward. This device is a must have if you have difficulty with grip strength and twisting that conventional wine openers require. And the company couldn’t have been more helpful and prompt in replacing our unit. Excellent product and excellent customer service.
Amazing gift. Gave this to someone as a gift and it was absolutely worth it! I was 100% hesitant because of how cheap it is but it’s really getting a bang for your buck. It’s super sturdy, very smooth with how it operates and just so sleek.
