Moist food sealing. I’ve used Food Savers in the past and they just don’t seem to last. I returned the 3rd one I purchased because it stopped sealing in less than 30 days and decided I’d pay more for this one even without reviews. So far I am not disappointed. There are gentle suction and extended vacuuming along with a marinate cycle. I dud not purchase the canister vac, so can’t comment on that.I garden so have lots of veggies to freeze including, of course, tomatoes and zucchini. Both are very water heavy. The food saver just can’t handle these IMHO. The moisture tray is not deep enough or wide enough. I do like that the tray is removable…it is not on the Seatao, which is a downside. However the tray is a bit further back from the sealer and is deep and wide enough to roll up two half size sheets of Bounty and stuff in the tray. If you try this,do not cover the hole on the left side of the tray. You may also need to manual seal after the initial seal, but you can do it without reclosing the handle that you cannot do with the Food Saver.I LOVE the double seal. The seals around the lower and upper trays remove for easy cleaning. Downside is the lower tray does not.I purchased this unit just over a year ago in August 22. I don’t use it all that often. But today completely stopped vacuuming. Supposedly there is a 5-year warranty on this as it is a commercial unit. I’ve sent you a message but I have no idea how you will respond through Amazon. So I’m posting this here. Please let me know what the next steps are.
It does a great job. I got it straight out of the box put it to work. I had several packs of meat that i just bought from the processor and the bags lost their seal. So i got this bad boy to reseal all my meat before it got freezer burnt. And let me just say it works like a champ!! So don’t listen to these nay sayers about it ain’t no good. It worked perfectly fine for me each and every time. It was actually kinda fun to work with it and repack the meat that i had to. The roll of vaccines bag worked great the cutter cuts great and the heat sealer and then vacuum seal it and it was great. So don’t hesitate to get you one if you need one. It is another great addition to my kitchen. And the pictures i shared. I did double what i took pictures of and the machine never missed a beat. Thanks for a great Vacuum sealer.
Buy quart size bags for smaller items. Works as it should for a couple uses now it doesn’t work well at all takes over a minute to vacuum air out of bag and then it doesn’t seal properly I have to hit manual seal . This unit is a POS don’t buy it
Well made, works well. Packed well upon arrival. It’s easy to cut bags, and easy to place the cut bags on the sealer bar. The suction seems good, and so far bags have not lost their seal. I dropped one rating star because if you use the smaller sized bags, they do not fit into the roll storage compartment, because the overall roll is too large. It makes it difficult to pull out the appropriate size bag you need to cut. The lid will not close on the larger rolls either. But overall this seems to be a good buy.

They do sell a 90 instead of an 80 but I don’t think you need to pay the extra for the 90.This unit does really well in fact I put a stuffed pizza in there and I wish I hadn’t because it mashed the crap out of it.80 is more than sufficient.This is one pretty dang good working unit. I know you’re not supposed to but I’ve even used it to seal small chip bags and so on.I do not vacuum seal the potato chips or else I would just have dust.Bought a home with evaporative cooler needs to have something that will seal the bag that corn chips or potato chips or something I could have gotten one of those little hand sealers but this thing works perfectly fine.I bought some vegetables that were marked down because they were just a little bit over the sell-by date in a vegetable tray. Made my own little bags and split up the veggie tray into a bunch of bags and these will stay fresh for a lot longer than what they were out in the tray. You can grab all sorts of things that are just a little bit past their sale by date and vacuum seal them and make them last you a bunch longer like salad or something.

Amazingly easy. This is so much easier than wrapping with plastic wrap then wrapping with AL foil. Don’t know why I didn’t do this years ago when they cost a lot less money. But this one has good ratings and is easy to use. All the bells and whistles you need.
the sliding cutter breaks easily. The suction was great! I didn’t use it right away so I missed the return window when it broke. The bag cutter broke right off into my hand after only 7 uses! It’s made out of plastic and very small. I just use scissors now, but I miss the sliding cutter!
Learning curve works for the job. Got this for deer season to seal my meat up right. I had quit the learning curve but got it now. Make sure your meat is dry when putting it in there. Vacuum seems strong and seals tight with clean bags. I double sealed mine just to be sure. Cut to fit whatever your sealing.
Solidly built. I’ve only used this product once since I received it, but it seems to be much better than the one I’m replacing with it. I packaged some baked potatoes for freezing. Having a roll of bags stored in the unit made it very convenient to use. The cutter bar holds the bag in place for sealing the bottom of the bag and the bag easily rolls out to the desired length and makes a straight cut with no effort at all.The unit is about twice as thick as its replacement, so in order to easily seal a filled bag without excess length, I had to place something in front of the unit to reduce the angle between the bag contents and the suction chamber. A piece of 2×4 worked fine.This unit is a bit louder than the old one, but does a quicker, better job. I really like the positivity of using the handle to close the unit onto the bag, and the control buttons are easy to see and use. The sealed bags are completely air free, and I expect the food to be well protected in the freezer. At this point I would recommend this unit to any buyer as I don’t anticipate any problems with this product.
OK IT WORKS. This is my 4th sealer. Had to return one after a year on extended warranty two I trashed didn’t have warranty they just stopped sealing and vacuuming. This one seals tight and is able to do several packages at a time. I’ve done up to 10. Is easy to use and love the cutter.

Great for dry foods, not so good for anything that is wet. Easy enough to operate. Make sure to lift the cutter cradle and pull the bar under it in order to cut the bag from the roll; that wasn’t made clear and if you don’t do it the cutter can’t slide over the bag.If you try to seal anything that produces juice, such as wet seafood like crab sections, the fluid creeps to the sealer heating element and messes up the seal. It either won’t seal at all, or will seal with tiny areas that weren’t sealed. This allows the vacuum to break, and the fluid can leak out. Discovered this after wasting ten bags trying to re-do it. If you must seal something that produces a little bit of fluid, you can try adding 4 inches from the food to the edge (make a longer bag), sometimes that can get you a clean seal. But if any fluid makes it to the sealer heating strip, forget it. But for sealing dryer things, it works really great.
Works great. Works as advertised. Used it to seal ground beef portions for freezer. Seals tight. Sealing bags are strong and easy to cut to size.
