  1. These are what they are. I buy them in the 12 packs and those ones are bigger and have more surface area but can cut your hand. I can’t decide if I like the bigger surface area better because that way I can clean easier and the price is better per piece or if I like the smaller ones which don’t have as much danger of cutting your hand or getting snagged on your skin.

  2. works great for outboard motor storage exhaust port plugging. This ss scrub pad works great to keep mices out of the internals of an outbound motor exhaust port (@ prop) doing storage. I use aluminum foil tape for the above water exhaust post and crowl air intake openings, just a little affect when removing AL tape residual adhesive-but worth it.Customer had mice make bedding in the cylinder twice in 8 yrs.1st time was bad, cylinder wall was rusted-worst thing was take cylinder in to get bored out. So I decided to just try using a thick sharp reaming tool (has 3 blades, took out 1 blade to use w/ by hand and motor oil).Slowly scrap cylinder wall w/ reamer blade after letting motor oil soak on cyl wall 1st (10mins or so). The now clean cyl wall looks ok, but w/ black are spots here/there-assumed those are spot w/ deep corrosion (pitting would start in the black area).Put cyl head gasket/head back on and tested motor, runs like before-running good like a Yammie. The owner is happy it didn’t cost him that $$$.The 2nd time (didn’t use the boat for about 2 summers) the owner found mice bedding in the other cylinder bank, lucked out after taking the cyl head off-no rust at all!!! Assume mice didn’t have enough time to settle in, there was a lot of betting on there though. This happened because the owner forgot to winterize or you could say mouse proof it for storage in Chicago area. This was all due to not putting SS scrub pad in the outboard motor exhaust port at the prop and taping the above water exhaust port w/ AL foil tape. This boat was kept at a location where they only cut the grass around the boat. Also, found out the best stuff to use for keeping mice out of boat is “FABRIC SOFTENERS”-get 180 CT or more and just put all over inside the boat (including compartments, floor, seats, dash, etc). The suggestion source was from a RV fourm. The owner says it smells great for next year too.

  3. Good rewards with right amount of scouring. Does more shine-up than I expected. But not by itself. Scrubbing and scouring have yielded very good results. After use I rinse the pad, let dry completely, then store in a sealed sandwich bag.

  4. Love ‘Em. I had to laugh reading the reviews complaining about how they fall apart. The one on the left is probably a year old, LOL! I kept waiting to find a new packet in my stores… I gave in and purchased it on Amazon. It doesn’t matter what they look like. If you have stainless steel pots and pans, this is the only way to clean them easily breezy! Please don’t fret about what they look like. These little kitchen buddies do the job!

  5. Just what I needed. These things remind me of my grandmother’s kitchen. She always had one of these plus the steel wool with soap in them. They are great on stainless steel pots and pans and my stainless sinks. I just rinse them off and toss in the dishwasher. They last a long time!
