Dirtex is an excellent cleaner and a staple in my home. I first bought Dirtex due to recommendations from employees at my local hardware store. Glad I listened–it’s a champion cleaner. I don’t have many stainless steel surfaces in my house, but I can certainly vouch for how well it works on glass, chrome, and ceramic tile. It wipes away clean without streaks or residue. I use it most often on vertical surfaces, as it doesn’t run much due to its subtle foaming. Although Dirtex is a superior cleaner, Windex retains its place in my cabinet for lighter jobs as it’s much less expensive.A note for first-time Dirtexers: if you’re disappointed, perhaps the spray nozzle is not functioning properly. When I received my order, the nozzle was detached and rattling inside the white cap. I repositioned the nozzle onto the stem, but it would not spray as usual; no matter what I did, it produced a foamless, inconsistent stream. Had I not used other cans in the past, I may have wondered whether this was normal and even possibly ditched the product. So, if this sounds familiar, consider trying again. And not to worry–Amazon fully refunded me for the defective can.

Will clean Anything. I got this at a commercial supply house for my Gym. OMG! Brought it home and my husband uses it for everything. Once it ran out, I had to find more because he loves it. Spray on anything, let it set for 15 seconds and wipe clean. I have used it on high hand residue stains, bug juice on my car and my husband uses it for Eveything!
Works great to clean smudges off walls. Handyman told me about this product. I used it to clean smudges off my white roller shades and white walls. Worked great! I will always keep a can at the ready.
Cleans Great. I carry it with me because I have IBS and I am forced to use public restrooms quite often. Some restrooms are a hangout for meth heads and/or homeless with all types of toilet transmitted diseases. It does the trick. If the manufacturer had a solution for spraying panhandlers on the corner?

You’ll NEVER use windex again, I haven’t. At my last apartment, the guy that lives across the hall told me about this. I was only able to find it at Home Depot, but now not even they have it., I hadn’t had any for several months and was not happy once using this. Why would you ever use Windex again. I didn’t really think the difference would be all that dramatic but, it sure is. The way it sprays and then foams up it’s great for even really dirty windows. I even use it on the outside part of my huge apartment windows where I am up on the third floor and extremely disgusting on the outside but this wipes right off like a mirror.
