Battery is a big problem. I really want to like it. But this terrible battery life is a big problem.
I love this thing. This has an amazing screen that is actually fun to look at. I’m getting older, and I like larger screens now, and you can’t get much bigger than this for a phone. Folded, it’s double thick (well, duh) and it’s skinnier than a regular phone – the dimensions are a little weird for a regular phone.I know that the Fold 3 doesn’t get great reviews for the camera, but it’s just fine for regular people. It’s certainly better than my first digital camera (1.6 megapixels!) so I’m good with it. That’s one of the nice things about being old – you don’t take certain things for granted. This takes a bit of getting used to when you’re texting or holding it open and playing with it. It is pretty awkward at first, but after a few months, I’m used to it.The phone part works just fine. I’m not a fan of talking on the phone, but sound is fine and I haven’t had any complaints from others with the sound on their end. I personally prefer to use my phone for playing games and streaming videos, and the screen is great for that. Not all apps know how to deal with the double screen. Some of them know that if you fold the phone halfway that they should shift the screen up to the top. Netflix seems to have a problem, but it’s not bad. Youtube knows how to handle it.There wasn’t a real manual included, however there is a great one online that I downloaded from the Samsung site. I’m old – I like actual manuals. The fingerprint sensor seems like it’s in a weird spot (on the side) but it has worked well so far. I’m careful opening the screen because I don’t know how well it will hold up, but it’s fine so far.I just really love this thing. Which is a bummer because it’s expensive and I don’t know if I can go back to a regular phone now. Hopefully it will last a couple of years.
Gracias
Powerful yet elegant phone. I have this phone for about 3 months now and I have no complaints whatsoever other than just it’s hard to find good cover this phone is among the elite group of phones. This is my second samsung phone (first was a 2005 Era phone ). I wanted to stick with one plus but with a same price I got a fold 3 on prime day deal. Power of multitasking is real. The three screens and full 1.5 days battery life is unimaginable. The cameras are perfect for me. It’s little heavy but fits nicely in my pocket , car phone holder and also with wireless charging mount. The screen fold I have not seen any issues with yet . Will update review if anything changes .

Worth the Price. I dont buy expensive phones especially given my job of working around air crafts and the heights i take it out at, but I’m glad I spent the money on a very good phone that also gives great viewing for downtime or making memes with my coworkers

Great Phone Brand New & Less $ Than Some Used. Okay I’m not really up to date with phones anymore, I used to be I’ve had every single LG Stylo since the beginning and every LG phone since also HTC when they were still around but I needed something better work wise and this caught my attention..So far it was a pain to get my number transferred at first because my previous carrier didn’t want me to go but that’s not there call but after about 12hrs and few calls to my new carrier alls well that ends well…phone is extremely FAST in Wifi 6E if you have compatible internet for that but the 5G is also blazing FAST Qualcomm Snapdragons 888 cpu is excellent the screens are phenomenal and watching movies or videos or YouTube etc doesn’t get any better than on a Z Fold 3 5G I’m very happy and satisfied with my purchase but it does not work with BOOST so if you buy expect to change carriers yes you can keep your # and all that good stuff and it also doesn’t come with the adapter for charging it comes with a USB C male to USB C male you have to purchase an adapter separately which you can Samsung official one for $15 but that’s not the point you pay almost 1K for a phone and no adapter I’m old school I remember when phones came with earphones and the works but not anymore and there is no audio jack so expect to use bluetooth but I already have so much bluetooth devices it’s all good the 120Hz refresh rate is real but you can put it to 60Hz to save battery you don’t notice the difference unless gaming or movies than you do but overall a great phone, I ordered the Green but it’s so dark it looks black so whatever no big deal there. It’s dual Sim compatible meaning you can two different numbers one on the regular slot Sim and one on the Esim which is cool but it has a ton of features and I’m already running A13 so it’s worth the money you can feel the quality it’s definitely not a CHEAPO PHONE which I usually buy but I was like you know what I want a premium phone this time and I don’t upgrade but every 5-8 years anyway sometimes longer but check it out!

I honestly love this phone but it’s very fragile. I got this phone about six months ago and I absolutely loved it. I was looking for a phone with a large screen and this was perfect. It was so easy to type on the larger keyboard and I would spend multiple hours writing essays and stories on Microsoft word. This phone is preinstalled with a screen protector on the internal folded screen. About a month and a half into using the phone, the protector on the screen started to lift at the crease. I tried saving the protector by pressing it on to the screen until the adhesive reattached. This fix usually only lasted a few hours or days until the protector would re-separate itself at the fold. When I looked online for a more effective solution, I saw multiple videos of people having the same problem. They explained that when the screen protector separates, air bubbles can get trapped between the protector and the screen, that trapped air puts pressure on the crease and can ruin the pixels underneath it. After seeing a few videos of people who had a solid black row of dead pixels on the hinge of their phone, I concluded that my best option was to remove the screen protector entirely.A month after that, I noticed that about 4 pixels on the bottom right corner of my internal screen were stuck. They were very small, but I could see one pixel stuck on green, one stuck on blue, one stuck on red, and one that was completely black. I restarted my phone several times, and tried finding solutions to fix it online, but nothing worked. Like I said, the problem area was very small, and each stuck pixel was probably no larger than the tip of a safety pin. Since I never found a way to fix it, after about a week, I didn’t notice it anymore. My last issue with this phone occurred earlier today. I have a cat that gently chews on things when she wants my attention. If I’m reading, she’ll chew the book cover, if I’m typing, she chews my keyboard, if I’m sleeping, she chews my metal bed frame. Today, when I was using my phone, she gently chewed its upper right corner. The screen flashed as if it was taking a picture then the whole thing turned a weird beige color. I pressed the power button a few times but nothing changed. The pixels that had been stuck, turned a dark brown color. I restarted the phone several times, but instead of beige, when it started, the whole screen was black. The inner display does not work at all, when I press the power button, a horizontal sliver of pixels on the right side of the screen flash, but that’s it. The external display is not damaged at all.I am writing this review from an old phone I used to use. I absolutely loved my Fold 3, it was so much more convenient than my tiny iPhone. This wasn’t even the first Fold 3 I owned, last year, I bought the exact same phone, and the speakers stopped working after about 3 months. Rather than getting my third version of this phone, I think I’m going to choose a different model. This has been such an odd experience for me. I am 26 years old and I have NEVER broken a phone before, I’ve never even cracked a screen. I still have a couple old flip phones from back in middle school that are still in perfect condition. Having 2 broken phones within a 12 month period is out of the ordinary. This phone is absolutely amazing, but it is so fragile, it’s nearly impossible not to damage it.

LASTED 4 MONTHS. I purchased this phone in May 2023. I am writing this review in September 2023 and the phone already has something broken. There is some faulty design in the Z Fold 3 that has the wifi module wire near the hinging part of the phone. So it is a common issue that the wire breaks from the phone folding frequently. (Which is the entire appeal of the phone.) I am done with Samsung altogether. Design flaws like this should not go unnoticed. And if they do, Samsung should take responsibility.
Beautiful – But. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this phone. I had a Fold 1 I bought used from Amazon for a steal and it was an amazing experience. It’s no different for the fold 3 and all of the improvements were welcomed. I used this phone every single day. I am a delivery driver so I sweat a lot in the Florida heat and it might be the reason this phone is having issues for me now.Unfortunately it doesn’t charge sometimes. I have to flip a USB C cable over. (Changing cables or charger doesn’t help). It now charges slowly. My phone has a super rare T-Mobile issue where 5g can’t connect well and call quality struggles to stay connected. There is a software patch and I installed It but now my battery drains rapidly. Coupled with charging issues. My Fold 3 is done. I can’t afford to miss any more calls. So I now have to look into switching to the S21 Ultra since there’s excellent deals on Amazon.I love my Fold 3. I’m so happy the screen didn’t crack. And I never had charging issues. But I’m sad that I can’t use it for it’s most basic phone features anymore. I can’t trade it in either because it’s considered damaged now.My advice? If you sweat a lot at your job. Please use a USB c cover and charge wirelessly. Don’t risk it like me.
