  1. The best Phone that money can buy. The cameras, the S-pen, the AMOLED screen quality, the 120 Hz refresh rate, the 5G data connection, the build quality, etc. are all top notch. This phone will probably hold the crown for best Android phone for a good while, and it has key feature bumps that made me especially want this phone–namely the 5G and the 120 Hz screen.I would definitely recommend a solid case if you’re planning to spend this much money on a phone. I bought a Spigen case which effectively reduces the camera bump on the back to allow the phone to sit flat on a desk. The IP68 rating means that it will be fine with water and dust, but drop protection is still a must. I saw a stat recently that something like 2/3 of people report incurring drop damage to their phone (for all phones not specifically this phone).Other thoughts: I think it’s interesting that most middle class people can afford the best phone that you can possibly purchase for a product that is in your pocket, everyday, all the time. You can’t say that about cars, houses, clothes, but you could definitely swing buying the best phone that money can buy once every 3-4 years if it’s important enough to you. For me it is, and I’m very happy with this phone.Lastly: Google Pixel, 1+, Apple, etc. can only hope to match some of the features that this phone has to offer, but I highly doubt that they will exceed this phone’s specs on yet to be release products. Just my opinion as a phone guy, but the best that they could hope to do is give you a better value on specific features. If you’re somebody looking for the best value on a calling and texting machine, then this phone is not for you. This phone is for somebody that wants the best cameras, pocket computing power, & screen quality that money can buy you right now.

  5. It’s crazy fast and has great features. I’ve always wanted a Samsung Note phone but never wanted to spend over a $1300 for a phone. Thanks to Prime Day I was able to snag this Note Ultra 5G for a little over $1000 and I’m glad I did because it is SUPER FAST!I upgraded from an LG G7 ThinQ and even though that phone was fast with only 6 GB of RAM, this one is amazingly fast with 12Gb of RAM.The scrolling is beautiful thanks to the 120hz refresh rate.I really like the fingerprint reader on the screen. It’s super fast and accurate. The face recognition also works very well and allows for alternate “looks.”The S Pen is my favorite because of the handwriting feature. Taking notes has never been easier! The text extraction feature is so helpful for copying and pasting text from images. The S pen is like a tiny magic wand! I love it. 🥰I wasn’t a fan of the edges of the screen because with gestures on, accidental touches were making the phone back out. However that was fixed with a phone case and now I’m happy.Update 02/14/21: This phone is so useful when it comes to work and college.Multitasking is smooth with the 12GB RAM so it never freezes or slows down. I work with Word and Excel and the apps available have full functionality allowing me to do all the things that I can do on a desktop. My favorite app is the Samsung Notes app, which allows me to import PDFs that I can mark up with the S Pen, making note taking easy. This phone is amazing! I will keep this phone until “the wheels fall off.” 😃

  8. Just a solid phone all around. All I’ve ever wanted was a plain android phone with timely security updates, no hardware issues, and no bloatware.I owned a note 2 and a note 4, but switched to a Nexus 5 and then a Pixel 3XL because of the bloatware, the incredibly slow security updates, and the fact that Samsung was going with a sealed battery on future phones. Unfortunately, the google phones have major hardware issues. The microphone on both my old google phones were bad, both batteries failed after 2 years, and the batteries barely lasted a day to begin with. So I’m back to the Samsung Note series. So far, this phone has been solid – all normal capabilities work well. It has a strong Bluetooth signal compared with my pixel. It has good mobile internet – where most phones (including my old google phones) have spotty internet in my area, this phone manages to pick up a surprisingly consistent signal. Wifi works fine too, of course. The screen looks good, and it has no pointlessly large notch at the top like my pixel had. The camera is much better than my pixel 3xl ever was (not that I actually care about that). The battery lasts about 50% longer than my nexus or pixel phones did when they were new, which is just enough for me. And finally, the bloatware can either be removed entirely or at least moved into folders where it mostly stays out of the way.I have only three complaints.First is that notifications show up once in a while to tell me that there is an update available on the galaxy store for the apps that I never installed, never used, and never wanted on my phone. I just can’t quite explain how incredibly annoying this is. Seriously Samsung, you lost out on my business for two cycles because of this kind of stuff. Its much better than it used to be, but really just get rid of the bloatware or get it entirely out of the way and you’ll make more money!Second, the battery is not removable. Obviously, I don’t care too much about the size of the phone because I’m buying a note. Please Samsung, give us removable batteries again. The note 7 would never have been such a big problem if people could replace their batteries. You can be certain Samsung lost some business there.Third, its a pain to root the phone. I don’t root my phone unless its absolutely necessary, but something I really appreciated about my nexus and pixel was that rooting was built in – no need to try to get around the phone manufacturer. Google just lets you do it. Why do you try to keep us from rooting our phones, Samsung? Especially since I’m buying the phone unlocked.

  11. Buyer Beware! UPDATED May 26, 2021. Edited May 26, 2021:Updated Review: After having a new replacement handset (from Best Buy) Note 20 Ultra 128gb, Mystic Bronze for the last five months, I gotta say I love this phone! I’ve owned older gen Notes and now see all the improvements over the years. Too many cool things to say about this phone; I’m still learning new features, etc.! Also what I thought were scratches on the thin top and bottom of phone turned out to be protective plastic; meant to be discarded after purchase! Lol. Battery is fantastic! SD a amazing! Clear kickstand case is way to go for me. This will be your goto device for everything. Advise; learn the details to get the best performance. Although Macro photography could use some help on future Notes. Did I mention I love this phone?Nice price, but not as advertised. The handset couldn’t be used with Verizon in the northeastern USA. And the bottom and top edges where scratched. I’m assuming it was produced in the factory that way. Too bad I can’t get back all of the time I spent with this dud.

  14. Wow. Replaced a galaxy note 4 with this unit. Kept the 4 because of the replaceable battery. Also unit filled my needs. When the note 4 became erratic I got the Note 20 Ultra 5g. The battery charge has been excellent. On days with a few hours of phone use and an equal time of wifi access I was using about 60% at most. The large screen is appreciated. The included apps are suspect. Especially the Bixby app. I am having a hard time finding any use for it. I am especially hesitant to use apps that have multipage privacy notifications and a ton of legaleze stating they aren’t responsible for anything. Sorrowfully the samsung apps are in this catagory too. As for the included apps I am not sure if I am seeing all of them. The included apps appear to be more than 45 and less than 50. I have chosen to add about 30 other apps. Some do the same task as the Samsung/google apps. I am used to them and I feel more secure and private using them The privacy aspect may be a dream, but, I am trying. The final point I have is whether I would recommend the note 20 ultra to others. The reservations I have are due to cost and capability. Other smart phones cost less and have similar capabilities. I would recommend this device to those that need the battery and can afford the price.

  15. Samsung does well. Samsung and Apple have been having this rivalry for who has the better phone for a while. Between the two devices the Samsung note 20 ultra has better features, better design and less lag at least when i was using it. One thing it lacks is i message. However, the phone is much more fun to use. Especially the s pen. Over the many years, the devices have improved. Although I love the note 20 ultra, the box was missing a very important accessory. This accessory was the akg headphones that were supposed to come in the box considering how expensive the phones are in the present. Missing this piece is really frustrating and samsung did not give me the headphones so now I have to purchase new ones. I also did not get the galaxy buds which would have been a great addition. Overall having experience with both the top 2 flagship, I prefer Samsung. The biometrics are flawed when turning the screen on and it won’t turn on so I have to push the button on the side. The bottom only had one speaker grill and that is annoying as well. The hole in the top is also a defect that needs to be erased. The best parts of the Samsung note 20 ultra is the customizable features to the screen images and the s pen. The camera looks super premium and has very good quality. The front camera is also much better than previous models for selfies. I hope this helps. It gets tough to get used too if you owned an i phone.

  20. Tengo pocos días usandolo, me ha gustado mucho el desempeño del celular y su autonomía; lo único que no me gustó al desempacar el equipo dentro de la caja no contenía los audífonos.

  21. It’s a great phone with flaws. This is my fourth Note with the last being the Note 8. The Note 20 Ultra 5g has a slightly better battery life and includes the 5g radios. The Note 20 Ultra also has a slightly better camera than the Note 8. Otherwise, the navigation speed despite all the hype is about the same. I use the Nova Prime Launcher, so my Note 8 and 20 look nearly identical. In fact, except for the Note 8’s notorious screen burn, I likely wouldn’t notice the difference when accidentally picking one up randomly over the other. The Note 20 Ultra is a great phone and my wife has the iPhine 12 Pro Max. There’s simply no comparison between the two, the Note 20 Ultra is simply the better phone in nearly all aspects (despite the paid report/reviews you read). If you’re in the iOS space, the iPhone 12 is snappy and has decent cameras. It also offers 5g, although I see no difference on Verizon’s version of 5g on the iPhone (my Note 20 Ultra is on T-Mobile).What I don’t like on the Note 20 Ultra are the buttons (now all on one side) and the fingerprint reader that has about a 30% success rate.Although I’ve had Samsung phones, I’m not a Samsung fan. Their bloatware is excessive and their constant sneakingly pushing you into Samsung’s account services that conflict with Google’s superior products are shameful. Samsung’s hardware is very good while the software and practices are unfortunate. I’ve only stuck with the Samsung line for one reason, the S-pen. I don’t use it often, but, when I do I like it. Now that Samsung calls this the end of the road for the Note line, my next phone won’t be a Samsung unit. Til then, I like this phone and mated with the right case makes it a nice daily driver.

  22. Awesome phone. Awesome phone! Haven’t had a single problem with it. I have been using it for almost a year now. The camera is awesome. The hardware is insane. Every application I have used work smooth and super fast. The screen is beautiful super clear. Face recognition doesn’t work for me. But it’s not a big deal for me. There is no such thing as a perfect phone. The question is which glitches are you willing to put up with and which are you not. I have nothing but an awesome experience with this phone. Oh when I first unpackage my phone the top and bottom of the phone where you connect your charger and put in your sim card looked damage full of scratch. But if you look at it carefully is not damage is a protective plastic film. It hard to detect it at first glance but once you remove this plastic film the scratches goes away.

  23. Absolutely love this phone. When I picked this phone I needed two things: large storage capacity and a large screen. I was a little apprehensive because this model is a few years old, but the price from Amazon warehouse was so good I took a chance. It’s so much easier to manage files on this phone than on my old iPhone. The screen is huge and bright, and there’s expandable storage. Perfect.

Great phone. The only thing was the battery didn’t hold a long charge. Pretty sure due to its age & sitting so long in box.I love my note phones though!

  28. Buy it. I was so nervous at first but I have had this phone for over a year with no issues. I wanted to wait and use my phone before giving a honest review.Camera is amazing no glitches. Great quality. I would definitely buy from seller again.
