I’m so in love with this iron. My hair is thick, and I love this iron because I don’t have to use it so hot and I can style my hair very well. I feel that it doesn’t mistreat it too much, it leaves my hair very soft and shiny. I love it for its quality and price, it’s excellent!!

Wayyy better than my $150 iron. I really did not have high expectations for this iron as it’s only 30 bucks. I regularly use my $150 1in iron. This Remington iron EXCEEDING my expectations and left my expensive iron in the DUSTT. I have never gotten better results ever. This is by far the best iron I’ve ever used on my hair and I’m suspiciously surprised because it’s so cheap. Y’all better runnnn to get this ong 😭

Never Leaving You Again. I have always loved my Remington flat-irons, but thought that they were leaving the “I just flat-ironed my hair” smell behind. Even though this flat-iron left my hair perfectly like I wanted (even in the summer), I decided to leave it behind like a “bad date”. After trying expensive to inexpensive flat irons which all of them left my hair smelling the same way, I picked up my Remington flat-iron and knew I was never going on another “bad date” again. I went to the beach, and normally the sea air leaves me with limpless frizzy hair. My hair was picture perfect shiny and perfectly gray. I was speaking with my hairdresser (which I know my hair better than anyone else, so I don’t let anyone else straighten it, due to receiving heat damage from a professional who straightened my hair on 400°-410°, which I have never done), I asked her why when a professional straightens your hair it does not smell like it was just flat-ironed. She told me because she sprays the hair with the heat protectant after flat-ironing it. I have been doing that ever since; flat-iron smell problem solved. I won’t ever leave you again, Remington. I apologize, you weren’t the bad date, it was me all along.

Good hair straightener. I bought this for a female and she said the following -This hair straightener is cute, light weight and so easy to use. The cord doesn’t get tangle and the ceramic plates doesn’t burn your hair.It’s leaves your hair feeling soft and doesn’t take long to hear up.Great buy for the price.

Great flat iron. I ordered the 2 inch version of this flat iron and it heats up fast, glides through the hair easily and straightens my thick, wavy/curly hair much quicker than any other straightener I have used in the past. Sleek, straight and shiny hair achieved. I’m taking one star off for the placement of the buttons because they’re too easy to push while styling. You have to sort of try and train yourself to hold it differently than you normally would a flat iron. Even so, I’m very pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend this flat iron especially for those with longer and thicker hair.

Yes it curls. My old one was snagging my hair so went on the hunt for new one. I wanted one that would curl. And not snag my hair! After reviews got this one and I love. Very smooth and best of all it doesn’t burn your hands or fingers. Curls great. Heats up fast and multiple settings are great. I had to take away a star because of where they put the setting buttons. When using it I kept hitting the buttons and increase the temperature without knowing it but it beeps when temp goes up (or down) so you know when you’ve done it so that’s good. After several uses I learned how to hold it and very seldom hit it now. Other than that one thing..which you can work on…it’s perfect

Great for fine, thin, curly hair. This review is from account holders wife.I love this hair straightener. I love the various temps. It is thin and I like the color and design but mostly the way it starightens my hair. I have baby fine but curly hair. Sometimes straighteners will leave my hair frizzy but this one with one smooth slide through my hair makes it go from curly to smooth straight and shiny. I am a huge fan of Remington products. I have bought high end hair tools that have set me back 100-300$ but this was to replace my old remingtom hair straightener that I always go back to but it’s like 7 years old and it still worked was just ready for a new one. Glad I stuck with Remington – it’s just like my old one but better. Can’t believe how great this works and don’t have to keep running it over and over – just once over and done and no friiz or fly aways.

Works great. I’ve used this for a while now and I love that it heats up fast so I’m not waiting around for it. Gets more on the metal plates since it’s on the bigger side. It doesn’t snag my hair that’s a bonus. Sturdy, simple design and easy to use. Good value for what it’s worth.

Perfect for my biracial hair type. After my much pricier flat iron finally bit the dust, I urgently needed a new one. I bought this one and at first I wasn’t blown away at all. I finally realized my curly hair type (3A/3B) needed that heat turned up! I highly recommend this if you want a bargain that actually WORKS. I have received so many compliments on how shiny and silky my hair looks since using this straightener.
