| Directions | RECOMMENDED DAILY FEEDING AMOUNTS: We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. FEEDING WEANING PUPS: Start puppies on dry or moistened Pro Plan as early as they begin to nibble at solid foods, generally 3 - 4 weeks of age. FEEDING GROWING PUPS: Feed pups (to six months of age) all of the moistened Pro Plan they will consume at intervals throughout the day. If fed dry, Pro Plan may be kept before pups at all times. FEEDING FOR REPRODUCTION: Pro Plan provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female’s ideal body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN: Although you’ll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog’s current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you’re feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet’s health, see your veterinarian regularly. |

Horrible packing. The product is wonderful however the packaging was horrible! Poor UPS driver had a box that had blown open cuz it was too big and it was held closed by one piece of tape. 35 pounds is held by one strip of tape??? I was shocked to find the bag intact.
My German Shepherd Loves This Food. I’ve been giving this food to my German Shepherd for his entire life, first the puppy and now the adult. It’s been recommended by multiple vets, holds up well in my garage even in the Texas heat, and doesn’t smell in the house. Great product.
Excited dog. It was like my dog knew this was for him and he was attacking the bag to get to it. We had been feeding a blue b brand, and he just wasn’t eating it well. This has chunks of chicken in it and seems to be very basset approved.
Very nutritious for your dog. This is the only dog food that my veterinarian recommends. It keeps my dog at a healthy weight. My dog likes this flavor and the little soft chews that are in it.
Suggested as a daily diet for my DSD, Dutch Shepherd Dog, by Veterinarians. There is a ton of misinformation on the net from many unqualified individuals about dog diets. Ask your animals vet.
Please ship ups or FedEx only, usps is 🤬. Usps just drops in in driveway and refused to help my 71 year old disabled mother why I was at work because it decided to arrive a day early. Please only ship ups only or FedEx because they are so helpful unlike usps. The food is so good for dogs creating healthy furry babies. They just shine because of this food and they absolutely love the chicken flavor. It’s so worth the extra price. It’s arrived by FedEx every time except today. I pray you read this and I will put in delivery instructions to bring to door on every other order I make. Please abandon usps they don’t care at all.Once again you shipped usps and they just throw it on ground and walk away. I absolutely hate usps because they are no help at all, delivery to wrong address and worst of all don’t care. I love this brand of food but I insist you drop usps and ship ups or FedEx because they are so helpful and care about the customer. This is the best dog food money can buy and it creates really healthy plump dogs. My dogs always eat every last piece and stare at me hours later until I give them more hint the plump dogs. I won’t buy a different brand of dog food because they don’t eat it iv tried many different brands with this being there go to food. Please help your customers by shipping with FedEx or ups so my 71 year old mother don’t have to kill herself dragging this food in while I’m at work. Please 🙏
My Dog Seems Healthy. He’s a pretty picky eater. He eats all the crunchy things out of the bowl immediately and leaves the main food pieces for later. He waits the entire day to see what human scraps he’s going to get first… if not enough are forthcoming he eventually eats the rest of the food. So I call that a success.And he is a very healthy dog.
My poodle LOVES Purina Pro Plan. My miniature poodle started out as a puppy eating Purina Pro Plan Puppy food then a couple weeks after he turned one this August we started him on this (Purina Pro Plan Adult food). We had no issues with the transition from puppy to dog food and he seems to love the taste. Hence why I barely got the bag emptied into his food container before he’s immediately trying to chow down 😂. I’ve done a ton of research and wanted something that would be healthy for my dog and help him live a long life. I feel Purina Pro is a great, wholesome choice! Definitely recommend! My dog is 19 pounds full grown. This 18-pound bag lasts for months and fills the Amazon storage container shown perfectly.
Great for sensitive stomachs. My goldendoodle has a sensitive stomach and this is the best, dry food we have found for him. I love that we can use this food for our mini labradoodle as well. They love the malformed chicken chunks. We can sometimes use those as treats, which is saying something because our pups are very picky.
Beats every pet store price & delivered to my door. Our lab has been on Purina Pro Plan her whole life, starting with her breeder. Since it is not sold in grocery or big box stores, Amazon is the alternative to 2 problems – paying more at the pet store, and lugging it home myself! The large bag is the best deal in town for PPP. Taking the time to “map out” how much she eats and sign up for Subscribe & Save has been a real benefit for us!
