Really does make allergies bearable. I’ve been apprehensive about adopting a pet for the longest time because I had terrible allergies to pet fur throughout my childhood- I’m talking about eyes swelling shut and my airways becoming constricted. I recently adopted a cat and felt the old symptoms slowly coming back. After a week or so of using this as kibble, I’m nearly symptom free and no longer need to take Allegra or Benadryl daily to survive. A bit pricier than even the “better” brands but worth it without a doubt.
Allergies 95% gone. I’ve been allergic to cats my entire life, but my daughter wanted a cat so badly. This was recommended to us to try. I didn’t have high hopes, and it did take 3-4 weeks (more than the label said) to see a difference even with brushing & vacuuming daily. But WOW. I can not only share a house without constant sneezing and itching, I can even pet and hold the cat without issue.It’s not 100%… if I’m not careful and touch ny eyes/face after petting, I still get symptoms. But this stuff has made it possible to have indoor cats for the first time ever.
Really helped my husband’s cat allergy. Our 5 cats all love this food, to the point where we need to ration it to prevent them from gaining weight. And now my husband, who had been asthmatic, no longer needs inhalers (unless he has a respiratory infection). Great product!
It works to control allergens. Good stuff.cats love it and they look and act healthy.
Worth The Money. I am highly allergic, with all the symptoms for forty decades, but finally gave in to letting my daughter have a cat, and so glad that I did!!!This is the only dry food that we buy and he likes the salmon flavor so I have this on AutoShip. We also feed her boy daily wet food, highly suggested by our vet, and he loves all of the flavors of Pure Balance, classics starters. I only included this in my review so it is known that the LiverClear Is That Good.
Cat loves it. We have a medium sized 2 year old black cat. He enjoys this food. Also, my husband has a slight allergy to cats and the food helps to prevent that.
Worth It. My sister is extremely allergic to cats and dogs. But cats make it awful. I’ve been using this cat food for about 2 years now and here is what I’ve learned.1. Tasty cat food with nice variety2. My sister has noticed a crazy difference and she rarely has issues unless we vacuum (stirs up dander).3. Everyone in the house, including myself has noticed a change4. Love this food, ilbut I have noticed that my cat will be constipated if I only give her this hard food. If you get this, I would include soft food in your cats diet if you see this occur. My cat likes soups and gravies so I give those to her when I notice it’s bad or something.5. I like this food, but there really is not competition I’m aware of to compare it too.Overall, definitely worth trying. It isn’t a miracle cure, but it has 100% changed our air quality. My sister and I are even moving in together and she has 0 concerns about my cat

Every Cat and KItten Loves this line of Purina Pro Plan Liveclear dry food. I’ve had plenty of cats and kittens on Purina Pro Plan Liveclear dry food, in both Kitten and Adult. I’ve noticed that the adults and kittens love the kitten food more than the adult but it’s also higher in calories and fats so adult cats really shouldn’t be eating kitten food for an extended length of time unless your adult female is pregnant and/or nursing or if your veterinarian advises you to do so. Purina has many different dry food options including many different Purina Pro Plan sub-types and many of them are not of the same quality as others. Purina Pro Plan LiveClear is their highest grade dry good available with a veterinarian’s prescription. It IS also the most expensive but because it’s the only dry food I’ve ever found that ALL of my cats like, I’m willing to pay a little extra so that I don’t have to get numerous different types of food for different cats. The LiveClear’s claim to lower your cat’s allergens is fairly new. I started seeing it within the last few years or so. Before that, they had the same food but it didn’t have that claim. I’ve been using this food for 8 years and haven’t ever had a cat that didn’t like it. As far as the lower allergen claim goes, I don’t notice a difference. It’s hard to tell since my boyfriend has a pollen and grass allergy as well as a cat allergy so I don’t know if we’d notice if there was a difference in the amount of allergens released in their saliva and dander. This Particular line of Purina’s comes in a variety of flavor options. For the most part I get them the Chicken and Rice but I’ve also tried the Salmon and they seemed to be just as happy. I DID notice a difference in the size of the round pieces of dry food when comparing the chicken and salmon. The Chicken and Rice Adult dry food has round thicker pieces and the salmon flavor is round and almost flat. The size and weight of the bags are the same but the individual pieces are slightly different. I suppose it’s possible that Purina is in the process of changing the size of all of the LiveClear food pieces and one of the bags I got was with their new size and the other bag was with their previous size. Both bags were fresh. If your cat has health problems that cause him/her to need dry food that is geared towards Kidney problems, urinary tract, sensitive stomach, etc. Purina Pro Plan DOES have dry food for such health issues and they also have prescription food for specific health issues which you can ask your Veterinarian about.

Purina is the BEST. Purina has been our go to as long as I can remember and they are obviously doing something right since my cats live into their late teens (cat years)!!The cats love this purina and it doesn’t cause stomach issues.

Helps my Cats Digestion. Wow, tried a lot of dry cat foods for my cat that has poor digestion and THIS ONE is GREAT for my cat.

I mix it with Tiki Cat wet food twice a day and then last thing at night, I give her some in a dish that is a sort of Cat Maze, and she has to work to get the food out. She has figured out how to use her paws as hands – now I’m not so sure it was a good idea to teach her that (she’s a Siamese), as she is figuring out how to use her paws for other things. Things I’d rather she not use her paws for – things I’d rather she not know how to get into at all! You might think twice before doing as I did! Or you will have to watch your coffee like a hawk if you put frothy milk in/on it – she used her paws to get froth out of the cup! I could go on, but that’s not talking about the cat food – which she loves! Oh yes, and my husband is far less allergic to her with this food!

Best product and bigger bag. I don’t find the 40 lb bag near me and it’s the only kibbles my cat eat the product states it reduces allergens found in cats saliva and it does not lie it’s the best product my son could ever recommend I recommend it it’s pricey but it’s a value bag I was able to buy on Amazon <3 smell is not so bad it’s not cheesy I recommend for people with allergies to a cats hair is not in the fur is in the saliva that irritates us
AMAZING. This cat food really works! It’s the only stuff we buy and I’ll never switch it up. Not only did it make it possible for our family to have 1 cat (our son is ALLERGIC to them..like breaks out in hives super allergic) but we have 3!! It’s helped with shedding, and dander, and that “cat smell” that multi-cat homes sometimes have. Our friends even comment on how soft and fluffy our cats feel and how nice their coats are. Many of them have made the switch too! And my son DOESN’T NEED ALLERGY MEDICINE! He can touch and snuggle and even SLEEP with our kitties without having any symptoms. Definitely recommend!
