Outdoor and indoor alike enjoy it , okay price. Though it’s not organic and IS processed this brand is on the sightly higher- end of more ‘medium level ‘ of dry cat food.There are nutrients and decent taste, and less crap than the bargain basement food that too many people feed the cats, dogs, and other animals.It also keeps a reasonably good amount of time if you keep it sealed / rolled and clamped decent.With a good coupon , sale this 7 lbs bag is around 15.50 or less. Before you say that’s too much… your animals ARE your family and relatice to the prices of EVERYTHING food and non- food these days in 2023, this is a relative bargain amd is a healthier option than alot out there.
Huge hit with our 3 little dogs. We switched to this food a month ago and my 3 dogs love it! They do pick out all of the kibble like pieces first but then do eat it all. They are all older / senior dogs and we’re not eating their old food like they used to. We switched to this Purina food and they seem happy. One of my dogs is allergic to oatmeal, peas, and potatoes so finding a food without them is very challenging.
Great product; packaging could be better. I’ve used this product for years, feeding it to both my own cats as well as my foster/rescue kitties. Texturally, Tender Selects is a mix of hard kibble and semi-soft, so I think my cats like the variation in texture! I’ve tried other foods through the years, but this remains their go-to, even side-by-side with other offerings. After researching, I’m confident that it’s a high-quality food at an acceptable price point. If I have one issue with this product, is that the bags aren’t resealable. A zipper-type seal would be great for those of us who are feeding multiple cats and need to buy the 16 or 22 lb bags, but don’t want it to go stale before we can finish the bag.
Taste is all important. My kitties are particular! They love the taste and smell of the salmon in this product. We’ve tried others, but Purina’s One had what they needed as kittens and now that they are past one, we’ve continued to Purina One for the taste they love and the nutrition they need.
Best price on cat food. Better than store brands.
Excellent for indoor or outdoor cats. Sadly we lost our beautiful Cat, Peanut last week to cancer at 16 years of age. But over all the years we did have her we fed her Purina products. They are conscious of using the best ingredients and not corn meal and fillers as their first ingredients. They use chicken, lamb, and fish to give the cats thre best quality food. We also feed this to the outside Cat community we inheridited when we moved here. Thre people who live here we were tyold had an indoor outdoor cat that they didn’t take with them and left her behind outside. Thankfully we moved in the next day and we were able to feed her and make an outdoor hut for her because with us there she no longer wanted to come in. Then I guess some of her friends came to hang out and just decided to stay a while, it’s going on 26 years. I think she’s the longest surfing outdoor cat because of that food. They all love it, not one of them has ever turned it away.
Cats Love this. What can I say, we started the cats on royal canin (kitten) food which is very expensive and switched to a local brand right as the pandemic hit, sadly even being local most cat foods where hard to get as stock was super hit or miss. We tried various brands and my boys decided on this one, it’s been their staple for 3 years now. Quality hasn’t changed from bag 1 to the latest purchase. I try and slide a bag of something different in there from time to time to see how they would like it and they either wont touch it or leave love vomit in a best spots to find (step in) at 3am on your way to the bathroom. Needless to say this is the one.
Cats go crazy for this like it’s treats. My cats love this dry food. I do have to portion them with this since they want to gobble it up so fast. The size of the kibble is perfect. Not too big or too small. Great product and love Purina.
My cat’s Mcdonald’s. My cat has eaten this for about 8 years and as she gets older, I was trying to switch to a senior/better option for her. She seems to be liking the new ones but always go back to this one in the end.Maybe my cat’s very picky but I call it her Mcdonald’s you can never forget the tastes and go back.
