| Directions | These amounts are averages and your cat's needs may differ. Feeding amounts should be adjusted as necessary to help your cat maintain an ideal body condition. FEEDING KITTENS: Kittens generally nibble solid foods at 3 - 4 weeks of age. Keep moistened Purina Cat Chow Complete available to these kittens at all times. Just add one part liquid to three parts Purina Cat Chow Complete, changing frequently to ensure freshness. After weaning, at 6 - 8 weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. Start a self-feeding program, leaving food in the dish at all times. Feeding amounts should be adjusted as necessary to help your kitten maintain an ideal body condition. FEEDING FOR REPRODUCTION: Purina Cat Chow Complete provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. FEEDING TIP: Changes in your cat's diet should be made gradually to allow your cat to become accustomed to a new food. Substitute small amounts of the new food for the old food, gradually increasing the amount of the new food while decreasing the old food, over a period of 7 - 10 days. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly. |

Cats like the flavor and will eat it. I liked receiving the 16lbs. In 4 lb. Bags. The food stayed fresher and the smaller quantities made it much easier for these old hands to manage.
Outdoor Cats Approve. I have to outdoor cats that I feed and they both enjoy this food. They have never thrown this food up and they seem to be fattening up a bit.

Great for a Senior on a fixed income (if your teeth are in good shape). I’m always looking for a way to save a few bucks, and switching from people food to cat food has saved me plenty of moolah. Very tasty, with a satisfying crunch hidden in each yummy morsel. As a bonus, the local stray cats seem to have taken a liking to me if they are downwind from where I’m walking on the sidewalk. Very nutritious, too! The only negative I can think of, and its sort of a fun one, is that lately I’ve been prone to chasing that red dot emanating from a laser pointer. Since starting this diet plan, I’ve become more confident about having my own way all of the time.
I’ve been feeding this to cats for 50 years, lol. Yup. 50 years. Wow. My first kitties lived well into their mid 20’s so I’m going to take that as proof this is a great food for cats. I’m on my third set of too many cats and they love this food and are thriving. It became very pricey during the covid price gouging spree, but prices are down again, thankfully. I’m especially appreciative of it being available on Amazon again at a competitive price. I had to take my chances that it would be stocked at my local shopping options. The cat aisles always looked ransacked. It seems the final sign that we’ve recovered can be demostrated through the availability and pricing of cat food, lol.

The best Dry Food. Have kept cats healthy for five decades with this product.Few if any dyes that make the other products such as Meow Mix look great to people, butwho knows how the cats view them. Have tried most of the others out there, but this is tops.

Kitties love it. Just adopted a kitty who was used to this brand. My other cat immediately started eating the new one’s food and wouldn’t touch his regular more expensive brand. So I switched and both are very content.
My cat loves this brand. The headline says it all.
