It helped greatly but. This collar helped with training our GSP to walk correctly. So far the only concern I have had with it was with the quick connect. It is wonderful and easy to place around the dog’s neck, but one time during the walk it disconnected on its own. Being we use a harness I was able to hold her til I reconnected the collar. When using it make sure you double check if it secured and maybe check it once again before you walk outside.Since that one time we had no issues with it. Another good point we were able to make the collar smaller by removing links when she was younger. Now I added a few links back since she is growing. The collar also comes with rubber covers for the prongs which I think is great for the dog.

An instant fix for pulling problems. As someone who has struggled with my dog’s constant pulling during walks, I decided to try out this no pull dog collar after it was recommended by several trainers. I was skeptical about using a choke-style collar at first, but the instant improvement in my dog’s walking manners with this collar has made me a believer.The collar is easy to size and fasten securely around my dog’s neck. As soon as we start walking, she no longer pulls thanks to the gentle pressure the collar provides when taut. It has totally fixed her pulling habit while being gentle and harmless.I understand some owners have aversions to choke-style collars, but for severe pullers this can provide an immediate solution. At an affordable price point, I think this no pull dog collar is an excellent training tool and worthwhile for controlling major leash pulling issues. Just be sure to work on positive reinforcement training too. For us, it has been a game-changer and made walks finally enjoyable.

A trainer we were working with recommended this “pinch” type of collar. Our dogs responded differently immediately. I was a little concerned about the quality of this collar when ordering, especially the buckle. I expected it to be a weakness in the design. When the collars arrived I was very impressed with how solidly the buckle is made. We have Husky mixes and these collars have held up well to any and all of their pulling. If I had to knock them for something I would mention that after several months some of the silver plating has come off and you can see the rose-gold brass (?) underneath. It actually isn’t something that bothers me.

I hate choke collars. Actually when see a choke. I wanna take it off the dog an put on owner an show them their is. No limit.That being said I love these. This design is great! Could just always leave leash on an buckle it. With any of these yes getting adjusted can be hard. Just get needle knose or regular plizer. Thing I love the rounded edges an the rubber tips. So it won’t hurt near as bad. An like anyone loving. You don’t want your best buddy hurt. Just not to pull.Yes these look medevil. But 2 or 3 fingers. Loose. Never jerk. Just a calm day an nice walk with hand down by your side. The dog does it. You don’t yank or pull. Yes unfortunately a dog will occasionally see or smell something. An get pinched more then you’d want. But isn’t that better than a choke caller that has no limits at all an could do serious damage to the throat? Possibly even all air supply an blood flow cut off!No of us want any pain to anything we love. But must have discipline. I look at dogs this way. Basically a 3yr old child that won’t mature mentally past. An like walking them say across a street. I see this as your hand.Anyway best one I’ve had yet. Hope you enjoy too. An yes mine came with clear. But I don’t care. They are there an I know it. That’s all that matters. So worried about the color? Get a marker or spray paint. Heck a femae? Spray them pink use silicon to stick an not chip. I don’t care however. Just knowing myself a little extra something for less pain.

Helped with pulling, way easier to put on than prong collars without the buckle. Works as described. My 3 year old pitbull is almost a nightmare to walk with his pulling and this helped out tremendously. He’s not perfect yet, but definitely makes walking him much easier. I have another prong collar for my other dog that works great, but it’s a pain to take on and off. The buckles with this one makes me life much easier.
Good quality and works well for big strong dogs. I love the clasp. I was always putting the collar over my dogs head before getting these. Good quality and haven’t left a rust stain on my white dog.
Worth the money. Made better than most brands I currently have. Love the feature of rubber sleeves that go over the prongs for a more comfortable fit for my labrador retrievers. Wish they would of included more prong covers. I got enough for 3 prong collars no extra so now I have to purchase more. Would purchase again. Very well made and love the hinge lock. Easier for quick release.

Works fine. Effective. I have a puppy and it works fine. Links seems strong and with my puppy don’t seem they will break. I would buy again if needed. Came with extra links but i actually removed four links. So I can use this until my dog gets adult size for sure.

Game changer. I don’t bother writing reviews often, but this product deserves one. I’d tried everything I could to get my lovable, exitable dog under control on leash. Gentler leader didn’t work, choke collar didn’t work, every training method I tried failed. Then someone told me about this. I was wary about it hurting him, but it worked like a charm right away. He’s now a joy to walk! He’s just as excitable but no longer pulls and is so easy to walk now!
Nice collar. I have an English setter who is a strong puller when walking. I’ve tried EVERYTHING & this works! It is not heavy on her neck. She shows no distress or negative reaction of pain when I tighten it (at ALL, which put me at ease). After one walk with this collar, she walks easy and leaves slack on the leash. Sure, at times she sees a squirrel and wants to try and run but she stops herself and sits. It’s been a great training tool, and is very important for me as I have a chronic illness that causes balance issues and can’t have a dog that pulls. I highly recommend this collar! I do use the product with the caps on. They even give you extras which I’ve already used
I love this. I have a fully grown German Shepherd and this product works perfect for her. It’s very humane. It has rubber covers on the prongs so I don’t have to worry about it causing irritation to her skin. I also love the way it snaps together very securely. I would absolutely recommend this product.

GREAT FOR TRAINING. Trying my bird dog. She’s wanted to pull and not heal. This collar changed everything. Great training tool. She relaxes and listens, collar loosens. She doesn’t, it tightens and doesn’t feel good. It also helps the dog to understand who’s in control. Works very well. Very happy with it for training.

Sturdy & Strong for 110 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback1- I am a long time owner and I would say this collar gets moderate to heavy use by a VERY STRONG Rhodesian Ridgeback & Blackmouth Cur mix which is over 100 pounds, lean, fit, and strong.2- I ordered the first one in May 2022; and I decided to order a second one 2.5 years LATER in Jan 2025 to have one to keep for travel since we use it a LOT for camping and public walks.3- When I first ordered in May of 2022, I initially thought the FRONT Quick-Release Buckle would be a weak point, but NOT SO!!! I LOVE it. My husband and son told me it would break and it never did!!4- This is very well made. The price is worth it.5- I prefer the placement of the quick-release buckle compared to similar models that have it on top between the ears.LDB
Returning Control of your Pet. We watched several beautiful collars get destroyed by our growing pups. We realized that they needed metal collars and considered the traditional choker collars.Instead, we bought these and were impressed with the results.It’s like the dogs have hearing aids tuned to our frequency.If you are fairly light weight and are concerned that you won’t be able to control your growing pups, this is the collar for you.It may help to wear gloves at times to train the young beasts but you’ll get them to turn whichever direction you want with just a turn of your wrist.The quick release is very stout and holds well.The extra rubber protectors should be kept because your dog might lose a few.When you aren’t training the dog and it isn’t needed, you can remove it easily.Our pups seem to be used to wearing them 24/7 and the collar thickness protects their necks from other dogs.Once your pups mature you might not need this style collar but if you need a helpful training tool which transmits your desires to your dog, this will help.Downsides? The collar is of high quality and well thought out. The chrome plating however will eventually wear off.Bottom line? These collars will provide excellent service long after the glittery finish fades.
GREAT PRODUCT. Worked immediately on a crazy cocker spaniel. Great product. Does get tangled sometimes in the hair on his ears but have you seen Spaniel ears?! Description says how it works and it does exactly that. I highly recommend for 70 year olds being dragged all over the yard with hyper, hard to control breeds. It was this or give up my pet. No longer chasing cars or jumping at people or jerking me all over the place. Unlike other training collars he does not panic and jump and twist to get loose. I have had no problems of any sort putting on or off and neither has the dog. Only suggestion is to hang up after removing as it does get tangled on occasion and to untangle it is like trying to straighten out a knotted necklace. More affordable than a dog trainer or dog whisperer.
