Better for a Lighter Clean. I bought this for my mom, who has now been using it every weekend for a couple months. Her foundation tends to build up on her brushes and her eyeliner hardens, so she finds that using a little soap to loosen it up a bit before using this cleaner works better. After that, she uses this cleaner and thinks it works well. I think she finds it fun to use!I gave her the EcoTools Professional Makeup Cleaner for Brushes to put a drop of into the water, and that works nicely, but I know using just water also works fine. I am not sure it would really do a great deep-clean, but it does clean.
Love it. I use a little liquid soap (no fragrance/sensitive skin) and warm water and it works great! They dry so quickly too! For the people saying the black cap doesn’t stay on all the way: I thought that too at first but if you just tighten it enough but not too much, it fits fine. Some of my brushes fit awkwardly so I have to play with them s but but other than that, I’m happy with my purchase so far!
It is used to dry makeup brushes but not to clean them. I would not buy it again it was a disappointment, It does not clean my brushes, it takes up a lot of water and I have to buy an extra brush cleaner, it is easier to clean brushes by hand than with this thing.
Clever idea. Clever idea. Works well.I was a little disappointed the top remains open while the cleaning is happening.Also, I had to dump dirty water a few times and start over with each brush. But that may have just been because I was verily far padt-due for cleaning.But the picture makes it look like it holds it there for you – it doesn’t. It’d not really a big deal as each cleaning shouldn’t take very long. But I found the picture deceptive because of that.Also, not really a review, but a tip, it gives no instruction or suggestion regarding what to clean with. Typically I use facial cleanser. The same thing I would use to wash makeup off my face. This time, because they were so dirty, I used some liquid hand soap the first time, then rinsed everything and started again & used my facial cleanser for the subsequent cleanings until the water stayed clear.
Highly recommend this. Oh boy I loveeee this makeup brush cleaner. I’m so lazy to clean my brushes because it takes forever. After getting this I love cleaning my brushes because it’s just take less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend this if u use alot of makeup brushes and can’t clean on time. Trust me u will love it like i do.
Not a gimmick, it works. First off, it actually works! My makeup brushes were clean, so I thought! But after I used this they look new again.It takes a few minutes to get used to using it but when you do you will be amazed. I did get brush cleaner and that really stepped it up a notch too.The cons… a couple of my brushes are double sided and wouldn’t fit in the handle and one foundation brush is very short bristled so it doesn’t seem to clean well. I have to be honest, I don’t screw the ring on the bowl on and off each time I just hold it on with a finger.
It works. I bought this on Amazon and tried it out on one of my brushes I haven’t washed in a few months (Don’t judge. I hate washing makeup brushes and I don’t wear makeup as often as I used to pre-COVID)Anyway, it hasn’t been washed in a while, but this was magic! I’m sure if I do this a few more times it will leave my brush looking better.Now it won’t be such a hassle to wash my brushes or feel more like a chore.Highly recommend!
Does it’s job. I was impressed on how it cleans my brushes. The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I have a brush that is two ways. To clean the brushes you need to insert the end of the brush in the devise; and with this brush I couldn’t clean it since it doesn’t have and end.
Wow. This product comes nicely packaged and includes everything you need except two AAA batteries and cleaner/soap. All I can say is wow, this really works! I always dreaded cleaning my makeup brushes and usually waited much too long. I am so glad that I saw this because not only is it easy to use, but so much fun. I used castile soap to clean the brushes and they are so clean and the unit also spins them almost dry. I watched a couple of the videos associated with this product and they were very helpful. I love this product and am completely satisfied.
Worth Every Penny. I saw someone on IG use a brush cleaner like this one and decided to try it becuase I hate how long it takes for my make-up brushes to dry after I clean them. I literally just used this and was beyond impressed. All of my brushes clean and dry in less than 15 minutes!! The best part is that it works for ALL my brushes including the mascara wand, eye brow brush/comb, and my liquid foundation brush. All retained their shape and were dry in 10-20 seconds! Best purchase EVER and it stores in a nice little box. Vey easy to use, also. The hardest part is choosing the right collarf for the brush, but once you figure it out, it’s super easy! Strongly recommend – 10 out of 10!

Helpful but. product arrived on time and as described. bowl is plastic & seems a bit thin but is ok. the different sized rubber ends for brushes is helpful but not all brushes fit due to their shape and size. the “stand” to keep things organized is nice but doesnt really “hold” anything in place, the brush holders can easily be knocked over. perfomance wise….it’s fantastic for small brushes such as shadow & pencil brushes. larger brushes such as a fluffy powder brush, not so great in cleaning even with several passes. motor isnt strong enough to really “clean” & doesnt spin well. brush falls out of holder easily in & out of soapy solution in said bowl. ended up handwashing bigger brushes. medium brushes it works well for drying but not much cleaning. still had to hand wash those brushes. but overall, it makes cleaning brushes easier & faster. 6/10 rating.
Works great. This product works great, I found the attachments worked for all of my makeup brushes. It does work better on the large brush heads but I was still able to clean even my smaller eyeshadow brushes. it also did a great job drying the brushes and I was able to use them right away, though I didn’t need them again until morning. You do need to rinse out the bowl after each clean so it takes quite a bit of cleaner but I highly recommend this product.
A million stars. I cannot rave about this enough. I use the professional blue makeup remover stuff that’s super raved about and its CRAZY how quickly it cleans AND dries my makeup brushes. It used to take me like 30 minutes and now it takes 5. Literally obsessed
