I bought it to blend protein milk shakes; but, the head it too big for many cups/glasses. Pros: Really effective for blending the milk shakes with the powder and very easy to clean. The bottom detaches and re-attaches for cleaning easily. Despite what I say next, I am not sorry I bought it since it does what I want and very well. I just have to be careful and use the right items to mix it in.Cons: 1) The top is quite heavy and, for my unit, you really need to press the “on” button quite hard. The first time I used it, I placed the milk and powder in a large 16 oz cup and went to blend it; however, the head is so large it barely got past the surface and the blades were still dry. I hand stirred it, got out a much wider (but much shallower) cup filled it part way with soap and water; inserted the device to clean it. When I hit the button to turn it on, the entire cup was lifted off of the counter and hung in the air while water sloshed out.Comments: If you are only using it to mix protein shakes, ensure you have a wide cup/pot to mis it in and hold it down with your free hand (be very careful–I did say the top is heavy and it is also a little unwieldy).
Good quality product. Was substantial and well made. Easy to use and simple assembly, just snap together. What I like was the fact that the blender blade came off easily and could be washed with no concern about the electrical cord. Have had 2 previous stick blenders and they were both one piece. To wash the blender, the cord had to be dragged behind and you had to be so careful not to get mechanical part and the cord wet. This until has 2 buttons on the side that you press and the bottom pops off to be washed. Strongly suggest that you wash it immediately after use, to prevent any food caking on inside, which could be difficult to remove later if allowed to dry on blades. Great unit. Great value for the price.
It’s awesome. This is an amazing blender. We previously owned a couple of Hamilton Beach ones. This blender does in 5 seconds what the Hamilton Beach ones couldn’t do in a minute!!! Not to mention it is so much cheaper!!! We always use it to blend our protein shakes with frozen bananas in them. No chunks after 5 seconds. HB would still leave me chunks after a minute.We’ve had this blender for over a year now. Only recently did it have a few little pieces break out of the top of the attachment, but it still works great.Whenever this eventually wears out, we’re coming back to buy another one!!
Good quality immersion blender. Very good quality for the money. I love it! I’m making soups, sauces and other stuff now that I finally got one. I’ll update my review once I give it a try, but so far looks like it’s going to be very useful.P.S.: I’ve seen some reviews saying the blender handle melted when they used it, but that’s the blue plastic you found on appliances and it’s supposed to be taken off, so be aware of this before you use it. Stronger Than I Thought. I bought this blender at first because it was on sale. We don’t use it terribly often, but when we have – for dips, soups, and gravies, it has been great.The blender is pretty solid, the attachment clicks on firmly and I have never had an issue with feeling like it wasn’t completely secure.It is powerful and gets the job done quickly. As with most, if not all blenders, it is loud, so if you are in an apartment or some place with very thin walls I’d make sure to use this during the day and not at night if you don’t want your neighbors to hate you.Overall a solid purchase and a great choice for anyone who would like an easier way to blend soups or gravies!
It’s heavier than my old one. It’s very sturdy and looks nice. Pretty powerful. The colors are great. Very fast and versatile.
Amazingly Powerful and Durable Despite the Price. I bought this Immersion Blender a year or two ago for making mayonnaise, and I can’t believe how well it performs! I think I paid around $13, and for that price, this thing is incredibly powerful. It’s also built so well; still holding up perfectly after all this time. I’m really impressed with the quality, especially considering the price. It’s sturdy, reliable, and gets the job done. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable immersion blender!
Using it for smoothies. I primarily got this to make smoothies with. Works well. Fits my cup and cleans easily after use. Has plenty of power to mix things up. I like the red too.
Super strong. A review mentioned you needed to hold on tight because it was strong, and they were not wrong! Super powerful and gets the job done. I bought this specifically for my morning protein powder shakes. The dinky ones were always getting clogged and didn’t mix well. This is amazing. The only down side is that it is slightly larger than my cups so I needed to purchase larger mixing cups. (I bought milkshake cups and they’re perfect.)
Quick and easy to use. I needed to have something to mix a protein shake in the morning for breakfast without leaving a mess later to clean up. This product is needed for those on the go but versatile enough to mix multiple things. I used it with ice and peanuts.
