Great tool – with the $$. This is for my elderly, long-haired, torti-cat. She has NEVER allowed for a good brush or groom (no matter how hard I tried to get her used to it over the years) and now that she’s older, we struggle even more as the need has increased.However, this is one of very few situations where my cat’s opinion doesn’t count, so…This is a great tool and does exactly what it states and what I needed. Help work out mats, gently. All other results are bonus, IMO.Only downside -and it’s not on the tool or the seller- the design of the handle/ tool, the handle itself can get in the way, when trying get a couple more brushes in, on an annoyed torti from awkward angles. Would love to see this exact tool, but with no ‘handle’ and instead a grip along the top.
Works great. Wish we had bought this along time ago. Brushing out or doodle is much easier now. Before we would struggle getting his mats out but now we are finished brushing in half the time. Its a little awkward using though because it only goes one way so you need to move the dog or move around them to get a good angle. But I don’t think that’s a show stopper.
Perfect Dematter. My doodle had bad matts on his ears and with the combination of this comb and his brush I was able to get all those matts out without having to shave his ears completely! I would say the perfect product for doodles and poodles who get matty curls!
Sturdy dematting comb. I absolutely love this comb. Worked wonders on my long hair cat who got outside and his hair became matted. I’ve tried a few different combs from our local stores but never did the trick. It took me about 20 mins total dematting him with this comb. I totally recommend this comb for ANY long hair animal. It took the matted hair out with ease and didn’t irritate his skin at all.
This thing is a game changer. This comb is amazing! I’ve never used a de-matting tool before & it was like magic on a very long-haired Golden Retriever and a huge, thick-haired Bernese Mountain Dog. I had brushed them both several times and removed a million pounds of unwanted undercoat, but then I used this tool and had another pile of fur twice as big!My only functional complaint is that you can only comb in one direction, from one angle because of the way the blades and thumb test are positioned. This made it very difficult to maneuver around large dogs; it definitely will NOT work for a left-handed person.Be careful – The teeth of the comb are like sneaky razor blades!!! I wasn’t paying attention when the dog moved and nearly lost my pinky finger. Several bandaids later, and luckily it doesn’t seem to actually cut the dog’s main outer coat, but I still think this tool is awesome!

I expected it to comb through them like butter. Yet, it still works much better than a brush.It’s very easy to clean.It’s smaller than I expected it to be, but I found that to be a plus. It’s easy to concentrate on small areas at a time, which is great if your pet is covered in mats.

He gets matted between regular grooming and I’ve tried so many other combs, brushes, and detangling sprays on the market. This comb eliminated mats like butter and helps release all of his shed before it can become an issue. With other brushes I’d spend 2 hours on an area and would not come near to what this comb did in under 30 minutes.This is by far the most effective brush I’ve used on my boy. It’s comfortable for both me and my boy. I was unsure about the finger rest but it’s surprisingly comfy. He’s happier and that makes me happy! Definitely recommend this brush for those pet parents who struggle finding a brush that works for their pups.

works great. I have an Irish Wolfhound whose hair can matt sometimes. This comb is fairly large and very sharp so be careful when using. It works fantastically for breaking up the matts, but it would be too big for a small dog. It’s perfect for a large dog.
Worked Like Magic. This is the best invention ever! It is made very well, great comfortable handle. It detangled and removed all the matted hair quickly. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a product like this.
Works great. Just used this for the first time on my Maine coon. I have to say it got the knot out with ease and painless for my Minoux! I didn’t even have to wear the leather gloves that I normally have to use when grooming her. If you have a long hair cat that gives you a hard time when getting knots out. This is for you! Highly recommend!
Great comb. I’ve been getting my collie mix de-shedded for three sessions already. I knew she wouldn’t like the groomer getting around her neck area so I bought a comb similar to what our groomer uses hoping to remove a little fur before our next appointment. This comb did great! It helps remove fur to get down to the skin for a bath. I had tried so many brushes on my long haired girl and I’m so thankful I have this comb now for maintenance in between appointments.
