  1. inexpensive, basic mobility supplement, more care needs to go into shipping (or container itself). I haven’t been using these too long. My first container arrived with the top popped off and the plastic film broken- which emptied the contents into the shipping box. I don’t think it is a matter of tampering, but that the small container jostling around in a big box led it to popping off. The plastic film freshness/tamper film is thin and the cup is really just a milk carton style cup, so.. imagine easy to break. What was in the box did seem fresh, so I figured it was popped open during shipment a decided it was worth trying another one. I requested a replacement and got one immediately. Those arrived in good condition.I have been using a different mobility supplement for my two young labs (at the time, 3 years old and 1.5 year) for about a year. It started when my big girl was sometimes favoring a back leg. I immediately set out to trim some weight off and get her started on a supplement. The latter helped almost immediately. We also slowly took some weight off, as weight came off energy and mobility increased. She went from 95 now to 77. I mention this because less weight on joints is going to do wonders. I added in the supplement to support her joints now- and in the future. Using a supplement, especially with big breeds is good to use at any age, in any condition- so I started my young boy on them as well. So while I am not making a switch from the brand we are loyal to, I am ok with giving a couple doses a week with a different brand.Start with the higher dosage, then go to maintenance dose (which is typically halve the starter dose). This is your daily supplement dose. Some companies will say to up it back to starter dose as needed. Consult vet for more advice on that. For us, selecting this item all began when I was running low on our preferred supplement, and needed something to tide us over until the other arrived. I looked for something comparable. When I came across this product, read through dozens of reviews including all of the low rated ones, I decided to give this a try. While it wasn’t my primary concern, I was intrigued that it is about 10x less expensive than what I normally give them; and reviews seemed favorable, or at least not that much different than any other brand I was looking at. All seemed to skew the same- except price. At $7.99 for a dog over 80 lbs, that is 3 chews a day (maintenance). A 90 count container will last 30 days for 1 80+ lb dog. That is .08 cents per chew, so 0.24 cents per day per dog (so for me .48 per day for 2 dogs). With similar math, my others cost 0.81 cents per day per dog, so $1.62 per day. I still feel more comfortable and satisfied with their other brand, but I think now I can add in maybe 2 doses of this per week per dog to change things up. Some similarities in the formula, some differences.Hope this helped. I will make a point to come back here to update if we experience anything out of the ordinary- good or bad. So far so good. My girl likes the flavor, my extra picky boy will get around to it. Neither are used to chicken livers, so that might be their hesitation. I have no idea how many calories are in these as pet food supplements do not have to add that information in (but some do anyway). Since my girl is on a diet, I do prefer to know. These are quite tiny, so I imagine in the 10-13 calorie range at most. I’m not sure if I like that the ingredients might possibly be sourced from China- so keep than in mind when deciding on these. Container says Made in USA, but with “globally sourced” ingredients. I went to their website and found this info in their FAQ section:”Are PetNC Naturals vitamins and supplements manufactured in the US? Answer:Whenever possible, we source raw materials from the USA. A difference within 48 hours. Edit 10/14/2020- We are still thrilled with this product. Berry BooDog thinks the supplements are delicious and she is enjoying obvious pain relief. We did experience a side effect, however. It WAS OUR OWN FAULT. But I wanted to give a warning to others to avoid making the mistake we made. After a couple of weeks I noticed something was off with The Boo. She seemed a bit sluggish and was frequently asking to go outside to do her business. Also, this hoggy doggy was turning her nose up at snacks! I did some fast research and it turns out she was constipated. We had given her too much of the supplement. It was pretty easy to forget this is a supplement and not a snack because she loves them so much. On the label is states you can start out at a certain dose but then lower it and we had not lowered it when we were supposed to. From my research I learned that, while it isn’t terribly common, this sort of supplement can cause constipation with higher doses. I also learned that at her size we could give her stool softener. I paired that with foods that would help her to go and it passed quickly. Lesson learned. We were so excited to see her get some relief that we were not as careful as we should have been.As I said this was our own fault and not the fault of the product at all. This is a wonderful product to help with the pain and stiffness Berry has experienced as she has aged. We will continue to purchase this and provide it for her as it has really improved her quality of life.Original review:I am thrilled with this product. Our girl is getting up there and having some problems with pain and we could tell this because she struggled with the stairs. She also struggled getting into her favorite chair that’s always been hers. I found this product by searching on Amazon and this is the 1st one I’ve tried. I expected maybe with see some relief for her after a month maybe a couple of weeks if we were lucky. I was surprised to see our girl coming up the steps much more quickly and seeming much happier within the 1st couple of days! I didn’t mention anything and my husband commented on it independently. It’s a hands down difference in speed and ability to maneuver that is unmistakable. She loves to eat these and to her they are like a treat when she comes in from outside, so I can give her *medicine* and it’s also a yummy treat! These are very competitively priced compared to other products. We are delighted to have have something to helps her pain and stiffness that she also loves and that is very affordable. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to help their beloved doggie friend with some pain and stiffness issues.

Good for the price. We have a blue tick hound who’s almost 7. She’s a hunting dog and has recently been having trouble moving. She’s not terribly immobile yet but it’s obvious she’s stiff and in pain. Our puppy always wants to play but she has been unable to. We’ve been giving these to her for a little over a week but saw results as early as two days. She’s moving so much better and is more eager to play than she has been in a long time! They don’t smell great in our opinion.. but our dog seems to love the flavor and looks forward to getting them. She’s seems years younger, is moving much easier, and is far happier. Where she’s not terribly old and disabled yet I can’t say whether they’d do the same for a dog with severe joint problems but they’ve worked wonders for our dog!

  6. Product effective but shipping not. I have used the product with my dog but the last two orders have arrived with the Amazon box ripped open and the vitamin box opened, the lid off and the vitamins all over covered in ants. Amazon ha made a refund but I am concerned about repeated damages.

  7. Good product. I like this product , I have a 12 year old Italian massif, she wasn’t moving like she use too , then I bought these about a week later notice she was getting up to stand alot better, and she loves these she thinks she’s getting a treat.sincely nita and Bella

  8. Highly recomend. I was afraid I would have to put my senior rescue dog to sleep because she was having so much dificulty walking. I gave these to her and to my middle age dogs, and the next day they were all running around like they were pups again!I cannot say enough good thingsabout this product.

  9. They work. My Blue Heeler has a bad knee, giving her these 1 a day has helped her run again. She loves playing ball, so these have been a blessing. Cheap, she loves them, and she can run again. However… Amazon packages them poorly. You may end up getting broken packages, like I did. Thankfully Amazon offers replacements, but I wish they would train employees to pack things properly. If you are worried about the bad packaging, Chewy also offers them and does not poorly package them. However the free shipping on Chewy is $35, while Amazon is only $25.

  10. Good product but inconsistent. I’ve been giving these chews to my dog for a long time. It’s a good product, but the texture of the product is never the same. One batch may be soft and can easily be flattened with one finger while another batch is so hard that it’s difficult to push with two thumbs. I hide my dog’s medicine in these, and it’s difficult to hide the pill when the batch is not soft. Also, the price has increased twice in the past week. The cost has been under $10 for the longest, and it suddenly increased to $12.97 a week or so ago. Now it’s $13.50. If it keeps increasing, then I will be finding a different product. It’s a good product but definitely not great enough to keep increasing the price.

  11. It’s about time I wrote this review. I should have written this years ago. Seven years ago my Cockapoo Rocky was told by the vet he had hip dysplasia. He walked with a limp and hardly ever ran. He was almost 8 years old at the time. I bought these supplements because they were cheaper than all the rest. But I have to tell you, that within a few months, no more limp and he runs with the best of them. He is now almost 15, and still runs and plays like a puppy. I have been giving him this supplement for seven years! SEVEN YEARS!! It definitely works, and he will stay on it for however long we have him. Love our Rocky!

  12. Great purchase. One of my senior dogs is super picky and he ate these right up! I couldn’t tell 100% if it made a tremendous change in their mobility, but it definitely helped some I believe! Plus it was a great treat for them compared to a traditional fatty treat!

  13. Good for picky eaters. I have a few dogs in the house ages 9 – 15 years old. I got something to try and help them in their old age to better manage the steps going in and out of the house as carrying them is not an ideal option. I gave it to them for about 2 weeks before it made any difference. After that they became way more mobile. They started running and playing again and the stairs were no issue! I’ve been using this now for about a year for my dogs and would recommend this for older dogs. This is also a cheaper option than many other joint and hip support supplements for dogs but the quality is high. Soft chews for my older dog with missing teeth were a must and this was exactly what was needed. My dogs are also pretty picky when it comes to new things and they all took them right away with no issues.

  14. Works amazing. I can not be happier with these supplements for my dogs. Within a couple days I notice a chance in mobility.

  15. Great. Great price, pups love the taste, does the job!
