Does NOT wipe clean very easily. As other reviews have noted, the material is plastic, not like a real chalkboard. I did not prime the surface at all and used traditional chalk to write on it. I tried wiping with a wet paper towel and it came off clean… until the writing started reappearing! I wiped several more times and the same thing happened. Then I tried using an alcohol wipe and that helped, but there was still a faint hint of the previous message. Overall, I’ll keep it, but I wish the writing stayed gone once cleaned.Like others, I thought this package included chalk or a marker, but it didn’t. Wish this was more clearly noted in the title/description.
Most Perfect Back To School Board. These are the cutest little boards! I have a Silhouette Cameo, so I just cute some vinyl lettering out to use on mine, so Idk how chalk or anything else would work. But, in the future I may use them. But, for this school year I used vinyl.

Perfect for my toddler. My toddler started mother’s day out, and this was perfect. It doesn’t display too much info, is double sided to use for the last day of school too!I bought liquid chalk markers to use, but since this is plastic and not an actual chalkboard. But no worries I just cut some vinyl on my silhouette and that works perfectly!

Great Boards. Like other comments say, these boards are plastic, not chalkboards, but they worked great for me. I bought 2 for my twins first day of school. I still used chalk markers on mine and then just cleaned them after with a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol. All of the residue came off. Cute design!

Cute, but no marker. Says the board included a marker even in the description. It DID NOT come with one. Ugh. It’s super cute tho. I’ll just have to find another alternative to write with for his first day of headstart. It’s a good size tho. Perfect for my 2.5 year old.

So good. This was such a good buy. You have to buy the markers separate. But love that it’s double sided, one for first day and one for last. Really durable
Beautiful sign. I just received mine and I love it. It’s better material than I thought it would be. Big enough and well-done design. I highly recommend this product. Don’t spend much with customized boards when you can get this one for half the price.

Erase Immediately. I love this board, but I ended up buying a second one because I didn’t erase it soon enough and the chalk marker wouldn’t come off. Erases great as long as you don’t forget about it. Whoops! Very sturdy and easy to read. Doesn’t include information that shouldn’t be shared like some other boards. Can be used every year.
