  1. Comfortable with good dialogue audio. I am writing this one day after delivery.I searched for a product to wear while reclining on my side and wearing glasses. I have long hair often worn in a braid or pony tail and have a narrow face and odd shaped head because headbands tend to slip backwards and off.I often watch instructional videos in bed or on the couch and turn on my side or do other things and want to listen to something on my side because I can’t stay too long laying on my back.Sometimes I am lying down and follow relaxation audio. Other times I am sitting in the room while hubby watches TV and I do a puzzle and listen to podcasts. I don’t fall asleep to music and plan to remove this headband before falling asleep.Things I wanted in a headband are comfort and function. It is too early to review the electronic quality and endurance. So far I am impressed. The headband is 2 pieces of very lightweight, soft, “performance” stretch knit fabric sewn together with components in between. The outer fabric is variegated blacks, whites and grays. The inner fabric is a fine mesh light gray. It fits comfortably on my small head size and readily stretches over my eyeglasses and bulky pony tail or braid. The center back seam inside is open so that the recharge cable can be connected. I posted photos of the inside. The charging cable tucks back inside the seam when not in use. That needs to be connected to another (included) cable which has a USB connector at the end. You will need to buy the USB power convertor that plugs into the wall if you don’t already have one that accepts a USB port. Or you can plug the USB end into anything that is capable of reaching a USB device. It takes 2 hours to charge before connecting to Bluetooth. It charge in about 90 minute for me. I had no problems connecting it to my iPad even with an already connected BT pen. I can use them both together like if I want to play a puzzle using the pen and listen to Pandora piano music. The control component is located in the front (power, volume, play, pause) and is easy to remove when laundering, as are the 2 flat audio ear speakers and recharge cord. The stitching is around three sides and the corner of the fourth side to hold the components in place. It stretches easily to push the ear and control pieces out so the headband can be washed. At first I only heard sound in my right ear so I had to adjust the headband a bit lower and rotate it to hear in both ears. But it sat comfortable and it didn’t cover my eyes. The volume can be adjusted in the headband or with my iPad. Either way works. I was concerned because an earlier post said it was too quiet but I think it is fine. I have tinnitus and minor hearing loss in one ear. I turned the volume up as high as it would go. It is not blaring, but it is as loud as a typical voice conversation. I even lowered it a tad because it was too high much for my liking. I think for the purpose of relaxing in a quiet room it is quite loud enough to hear without any problems but not loud enough that it will block out all noises like a barking dog or fire alarm or someone shouting for help. It will block out gentle snoring or maybe a bit louder snoring and will block quiet conversation and other ambeint sounds.I found the quality to be clear for voice relaxation tapes and the music is not tinny sounding. It’s not an audiophile sound offering all the treble and bass ranges of course, but it works quite well for my needs.Update June 2020:I discovered the reason it was “too quiet” was because I of an iPad setting. It isn’t found under “Sound”. It is located under the “Music” app and is called “Volume Limit” It was set to some sort of protection mode so music would not get loud enough to cause hearing loss. I needed to turn that setting to “off” so that I can hear dialogue. So far I am extremely pleased. Even if it lasts only a year, it seems well worth the $20.

  4. Can’t live without it! Works pretty well for my purposes. Here because two nights ago the left speaker stopped working and I’m anxious and lost without my nighttime defense so I have to replace my headband.I bought a second pair in summer to keep at our cabin because wearing this headband and playing a “white noise for snoring” video on YouTube with my trusty foam ear plugs has worked so well. Have been meaning to buy a spare for home because, annoyingly, it does need a charge every day. Nothing is worse than being ready to crash in bed and fall asleep and realize you forgot to plug the headband in to charge earlier so you know if there’s any battery left it’ll shut off at some inconvenient moment in the middle of a blissful sleep. Sometimes I wake up and it’s just off. Not sure why. But alas in the morning I take this off, pull out my ear plugs and when i unplug my phone from the charger cord on my nightstand I swap out and plug the headband in. The one I bought later for the cabin disappointingly has the c style charger so i hate having to order this in case it takes a different charger now. Some nights his snoring is just awful and I get frustrated still hearing it even over everything but man, what a difference it makes. I have to say half my success is the headband and white noise with the help of the ear plugs cancelling out additional noise so I highly recommend both!I bought this initially after much browsing and skepticism while looking for additional protection from my boyfriend’s sometimes intolerable and incessant snoring. I have to wear ear plugs I’m able to fall and stay asleep. However they haven’t always done the trick despite the pretty good noise cancellation on my earplugs even with them in they aren’t quite enough to block out his snoring on some nights. Poking prodding and otherwise waking him up causing a middle of the night blow out and doing so wasn’t going to work and I certainly don’t believe in sleeping in separate rooms so talking him in to see if there are any medical options for his snoring problem not an option, I figured I would try these too so that I can use white noise. I have found in the past like if I’m doing homework or something I have a few favorite white noise videos on YouTube that are incredibly effective at drowning out any background noise when I’m trying to focus but wearing headphones to bed wasn’t an option because then I wasn’t wearing earplugs and they’re not really that comfortable. So here I am I find I usually get two nights out of these before they need to be charged or die in the night. It fits comfortably over my earplugged ears. I find it’s kind of a little bit too loose and usually hours after I fall asleep it’s somewhere in the bed or stuck on my hair that plus with a looseness it’s kind of hard to keep the earpieces snuggly over my ears where they’re most effective (they’re around inside the fabric and there is a little bit of flexibility and where you can position them under the fabric but it’s hard to keep them in that one spot). At some point someday when I finally to get up to all my backed up little projects I planned to take my sewing machine to my headband and hit it with a couple of rolls of stitching just to tighten it up more. The fabric does have some elasticity so I don’t think it’ll be a problem to get it on it’ll just help it stay in position better. It may be a difficult project of course because of the wires inside but I’ll do my best..I don’t want to risk stitching them into the wrong spot but I’m also going to see if perhaps I can tack them into place exactly where I want them so they stay put. Other than like a bungee cord or something to tie around my head to squeeze them up snugly against my ears that’s probably the best I can do.The noise cancellation difference is huge between just having them sit over your ears and if you were to take your hands and press them against your ears. That being said I don’t use these for any other purpose so the sound quality doesn’t matter cuz all I listen to is white noise. I wish the volume was a little higher but I didn’t expect more than this. They’re not perfect and even with my earplugs not all sound is canceled out but even with the maximum volume up and I turn these on over my ear plugs it sounds very low like it won’t do anything but for some reason I don’t know how we’ve had some pretty bad snoring nights and I’ve pretty much not had a problem blocking out the snoring and finally being able to fall asleep and stay asleep until of course the battery dies or they fall off my head or something in the night and he starts snoring loudly. So yeah I wish they lasted a little bit longer cuz nothing’s worse than being sleepy and getting ready to fall asleep and realizing you forgot to charge them.I would definitely buy them again if I had to cuz I’m not honestly sure I would find anything louder than this.

  5. Cheap product that does the job well and is quite durable. For $20, this has been an excellent purchase. Many of my headphones, sometimes at double the cost, have broken pretty quickly when I tried to wear them to bed. And they weren’t very comfortable either. Even my wireless buds broke pretty quickly, or would fail to sync etc.Comparatively, I’ve had this for a few months with no durability issues. I’ve removed the components, washed the headband, put it back together and still functioning just as well. And they’re the best sleep headphones I’ve had so far in terms of comfort. For reference, the construction of this is simple: a headband with some sewed in borders, a tiny volume control, and just some wires reaching out to the earpads. But this simple construction has outlived most of my past headphones, which, when combined, probably cost 5x+ this price. Simpler is often better!Since the wires don’t get tangled, they aren’t nearly as likely to break (and they’re a bit firmer than some headphone wires too), and you don’t have to constantly untangle them either. Usually, tangle-free headphones cost much more because they add some innovation to it (like a zipper, etc). This simplifies that issue because the wires don’t move much inside the headband; they stay in a circle and in the same place most of the time (a bit of stretching and movement during sleep expected though).Yes, these do not cancel noise much at all, and that is abundantly clear from the reviews. But that was a trade-off I was willing to take. And for $20, I wouldn’t expect noise cancellation anyway.Yes, the audio quality is average, nothing to write home about. Again, I wasn’t looking for high quality audio and would obviously expect that to come at a much higher price.Yes, there are some annoying software gimmicks that I would hope they would iron out. That’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.As other reviewers mention:- When you max out the volume it has this SUPER LOUD beep. Not very helpful for sleep… and totally unnecessary too.- The volume controls require that you hold to raise or lower the volume, otherwise it will go to the next or previous track with just a press. Holding a volume button is unintuitive, and makes it easier for the thing to BEEP at you. It’s annoying. So I just control the volume from my device instead when possible.- It does not turn off automatically if connected to a device. If it disconnects from a device though, it will auto shut off. So it will drain battery through the night. I have to charge it every few days as a result.- It uses a micro-USB charger… I’ve switched everything to USB-C now, so it’s a bit annoying that I have to keep an old wire/charger around for this device.- The volume control irritates the skin on my forehead and can give me a rash, especially if I sweat overnight. So I leave it a bit higher on my hair instead, and it can screw up my hair or fall off as a result, but I’m already asleep at that point- The “eye mask” functionality does not cover my eyes fully, and as above, will irritate my skin. I have a separate eye mask I can use if I needed it though, so this is ok. And honestly, this is the case with most eye masks I’ve had. That being said:- Fortunately it does not make any noise if it dies, so thankfully, unlike other products, you won’t be woken up in the middle of the night by this headband.- Despite the lack of auto shut off, the battery actually lasts a few days, so you don’t have to charge it daily. It will last more if it’s not playing audio most of the night. So, for instance, I put on a 2 hour podcast and in the middle I’ll fall asleep. It only plays audio for 2 hours. So while it’s still on the rest of the night, it’s not draining much battery when it’s not playing anything. I recommend using it in this fashion to workaround the lack of auto shut off.So overall, I consider this to have mostly minor inconveniences that I’d hope the company would fix, but this has still been well worth the $20 I paid for it. I’ve been considering buying a second one so I can wash or charge one while using the other, so I’m never without one at night.

  6. Perfect for a college roommate who snores. I moved into my dorm a few weeks ago and my roommate snores so loud, it wakes me up at night. She’s louder than my mom who has sleep apnea. I had this headband lying around from a past relationship where we fell asleep on the phone. I decided to see if it would help me sleep. It did! Not only does this product block out snores that are reminiscent of a lawn mower, it’s actually really comfortable. I read a lot of reviews saying the speakers are noticeable, so I was worried, but they’re not noticeable in a bad way. You can feel the speakers, but they’re not uncomfortable at all. That’s coming from someone with autism that is VERY sensitive to stuff like that. I also like how I don’t have to be near my phone to switch the song, as I sleep on a lofted bed, and it’s a pain to get to my phone in the middle of the night. Honestly, I’d recommend these to literally anyone who wants to listen to music while they sleep. I’d also recommend it if you need to block out noises at night. Just be aware you’ll have to put the volume up really high if you want to block out noises. It’s not too loud, but I also tend to listen to my music on max volume, so take that with a grain of salt. Oh! Also, the sound barely leaks out. My roommate told me she can’t hear the music at all and she sleeps just across the room from me. Keep in mind, I have the volume almost all the way up. When it falls off in the middle of the night, which doesn’t happen that much, I have trouble finding it, because I can’t hear the music if it’s under a pillow or is too far from me. It’s genuinely an amazing product and if you’re contemplating getting it enough to be looking at reviews, take my word for it, this is totally worth $20!!!

  7. Great quality for the price. Really pleased with this product. The sound quality is much nicer than I expected considering the price, and the headband is very comfortable. I now fall asleep to music every night, and I don’t have to worry about disturbing my roommate. Battery life is also surprisingly really long. I play 30 minutes of music every night, and I only have to charge it every 4-5 nights or so.It have ran into a couple times where it randomly disconnects from my phone in the middle of a song, but I just reconnect and then it’s fine. Product doesn’t have specific noise cancellation, but if you turn it up loud enough, it blocks out most noise. Volume control is a little limited, meaning it can’t get super loud, but that isn’t a problem for me since I only use it at night.Overall very pleased with this product given the price.

  8. 10/10 A must have if you need sound/music to sleep. I absolutely love this product! I need either music or ambient noise to sleep, and these headphones have allowed me to sleep soundly every single nigh! I have tried other products but they all had big disadvantages; in ear/earbud headphones would fall out during the night and get lost in my sheets, actual over-ear headphones were bulky and uncomfortable to sleep with, and playing music on external speakers at the level I prefer is too disruptive to my roommate who prefers silence. The head-band design of these headphones solves all of these issues while delivering a great quality sound (super nice if you’re a side-sleeper like me, as the speakers themselves are very subtle). On top of having an amazing product, Perytong has exceptional customer service, something super rare these days and for which I am super grateful for! I saw the “lifetime Guarantee” and didn’t think it would be honored after I broke my first headband after 2 years of nightly use, but I literally had a new one arrive in the mail 5 days after I notified them, 100% free!!! This company is worth every cent I paid and I would absolutely recommend these headphones to anyone who need ambient noise or music while sleeping! A serious must have!

  9. Comfortable fitting and thin speakers that do not pinch one’s ears. This headband with speakers in is very comfortable and the thin speakers have adequate sound, good bass and are not like the others we have used which are wired to the source and pinch ones ears. The band is comfortable and sometimes one forgets it is being worn. The wireless aspect is very handy. Bluetooth is only good for 1 channel and to use this between different sources such as a radio and a TV requires a bit of fuss. I purchased an inexpensive Bluetooth transmitter on Amazon to use with my analog radio and together, the total price was very affordable. One criticism would be that the headband could have lower flaps for the earphones so that the headband doesn’t have to partially cover one’s eyes if reading. Another very minor problem is that I have to continuously push both earphones back as far as they will go in their sockets to have them cover my ears. However, both of these are minor points and the earphones work perfectly.

  13. Peaceful sleep. This is the perfect thing for a woman whose husband not only snores lightly, but also grinds his teeth. I tried ear buds and they made my ears sore and wouldn’t stay in. I can’t use regular headphones because I’m a side sleeper. This product is perfect. The speakers are small and flat so they don’t hurt your ears. The controls are easy to use and the sound is pretty good. I like to use it with white noise or green noise. I recommend and would buy again.

  14. Works well until it doesn’t. I’m back to buy my 3rd pair of these headband earphones. I use them to sleep every night.Pros:- Headband is comfortable and not too hot – I am a hot sleeper and do not have any issues with it. It doesn’t move around for me but that may depend on your head size.-Connects easily to bluetooth-I usually play music/podcasts with a sleep timer of 15-20 minutes before going to bed and anytime I wake up in the night. Utilizing this setting, I’ve never run out of battery, and could go multiple nights before needing to charge it.-Cheap. I shopped around to see if I could invest in something a little longer lasting, but reviewers complained the expensive models died too. So might as well save your money and get this model.Cons:-Inevitably breaks. Both times I’ve bought in the past, it dies after a year or so and won’t charge anymore. I made it a year and 4 months this time but the wires are becoming exposed. I hate to treat electronics like disposables, but these are not gonna last forever. Still it’s worth it to sleep easier.-Volume is hard to control/a little too loud, even on minimum setting. I usually shift around the earpiece so it isn’t directly on my ear which quiets it a little bit.Overall, I wouldn’t say they’re the best, but if you manage your expectations, they are fine and the price is right.

  15. LOVE LOVE LOVE These. I bought this for my daughter last Christmas, and ended up stealing em from her so I could try them out since she hadn’t been using them.I love that I can watch TV in bed and not bother my sleeping husband beside me. My favorite thing about these are that you can lay your ear down on a pillow and there is not bulk. Super comfy and perfect for bed. I’m sure there are a lot of other ways to use it, this is just my favorite way to use it.Make sure that you plug the USB into a regular iPhone-type charger block or similar, because the type that iPads use do not work for some reason. It never charges on anything other than a 5 Watt block (5 Volts, 1 Amp). I’ve had no luck with higher-wattage blocks, and returned the first headband that came because I thought it wasn’t working because it wouldn’t charge after my first use. The same thing happened with the new ones, so I figured it was user error on my part and troubleshooted.Fast charging, long lasting…. I fall asleep with it on sometimes with meditations, and it still has power when I wake up in the morning. I plan to buy several more of these in different colors for everyone in my family. They’ll make fantastic stocking stuffers!

  16. Love em! Best way to listen to podcasts or books at bedtime. I’ve been using these for a few months now. Hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made.I’m a habitual listener of podcasts and audiobooks at bed time to help me sleep and tune out the noise in the room. These things are a life saver! Gone are the days of having to swap airpods when I turn over, or falling asleep and going on the life or death search for a missing bud. They charge super quickly, and last for a decently long time. Way better than my airpods, at least for sleeping. The only negative thing i have to say about them is the speakers inside the band can be a big bulky (not that I really think you can get any speakers that are smaller). I have big ears, so if I dont position them correctly it can make my ears a bit sore if I lay on the speakers for too long. (Doesn’t happen super often, but figured it’s worth mentioning)I also use them as a sleep mask which they are awesome for as well. That isn’t to say they aren’t worth it, because I’m still using them months later!Pros:————-Decent battery lifeComfortableBlock out most lightCons:————-Speakers can cause discomfort in certain positions based on your anatomy.

  17. Amazing sound and able to be sidelying on my pillow. Awesome buy for money! Easy to use. Soft, comfortable, stretchy , lightweight and breathable headband. Great Sound! Easy to charge and lasts forever. Beautiful color choices. And wonderful for people who can’t stand things in their ears or heaviness of Beats! Great to listen to music or podcasts while sidelying on my pillow while fiancé is asleep!

  18. Comfortable and effective. I bought this item for wirelessly streaming white noise to help with sleeping. I am very impressed with the sound quality, battery life, Bluetooth connectivity and comfort. The fit is great, and it’s very easy to use. I have not washed it yet, but the process for removing/reinstalling the electronics looks simple enough. Lots of goodness for a small price.

  19. Comfortable and Functional for Sleep. These sleep-time Bluetooth headband headphones do exactly what they’re designed to do, and they do it very well. They are comfortable to sleep in and allow me to listen to music and podcats while I toss and turn—unlike my earbuds, which kept popping off.The speakers and wires are sewn into the headband and are not bothersome at all. I sleep on my stomach but as I fall asleep I keep tossing and turning in all positions. If you’re an audiophile looking for premium sound quality, these may not be for you, as the speakers are decent but not high-end. However, if you accept that, this is an excellent product.I’m extremely satisfied to have found this product. This meets my needs and expectations perfectly. The battery life is also impressive; the charge holds for a long time. I used it for four nights in a row and still had charge left!My only suggestion for improvement is the placement of the controls, which are located on the forehead area of the headband. The controls are a bit boxy, and it would be great if the next version integrated them more seamlessly into the headband.Overall, I highly recommend these for anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable solution for listening while sleeping!
