Great Quality! Recommend It. I love the size of this chalkboard. The quality is great and great for the value!At first I was hesitant to buy this because of some reviews.It sure is a thin board and little flimsy but the quality is amazing.We used chalk markers on it and had no issue.Easy to clean with just a damp paper towel and no residue is left behind.Definitely recommend it if you don’t mind it being thin.
A great product. I ordered this for my daughter who just started Kindergarten a few weeks ago. After looking at several others, I chose this board and it was perfect! To be honest, I was skeptical because it was by far the cheapest one I’ve seen, but it exceeded my expectations. The markers wiped off nicely with a damp paper towel and it got the job done! Overall, a great product!
Thin but sturdy enough. I had different “first day of school” boards for my kids from prior school years but it was such a chore taking the chalk marker off afterwards. The chalk would only come off with a magic eraser which ruined the boards. I figured I’d give this product a try because I needed 3 and these were reasonably priced. There are 2 signs in the package = 1 for first day and 1 for last day. Initially I was disappointed with how thin they were but the colors were vibrant and the board wasn’t flimsy, just thin. BUT the best part was cleaning it off! I used a baby wipe and it looks brand new. I did “season” the board by rubbing white chalk across the entire board. I then wiped it off using a dry paper towel. I’m not sure if that helped but the chalk marker package suggested it. I figured it wouldn’t hurt! So overall product was thin but not cheap. I would purchase again.

Beautiful board. As many have stated they aren’t thick but I don’t need them to be . It’s for taking pics on the 1st and last day of school. They are two separate pieces and the color on the board itself is vibrant and pretty and when you use the chalk markers it’s even better. For the price definitely worth it!!

With 3 kiddos, this is a great value. I bought the chalktastic markers to use on these boards. I didn’t do any prep on the boards, just wrote on them 2 days ahead of the first day of school. I erased them easily with no issues the day afterwards. I know if you leave the chalk on for too long, it can be difficult to remove, but 3-4 days was no problem with the markers I used. They aren’t very thick, but they’re sturdy enough for a once-a-year photo shoot with our little ones. Plus, I liked the prompts (we switched one of them by writing “Friends” over “Book”, and it was fine).Felt like this was a good value since I’ve got 3 kids. And bonus, we’ll get to do a last day photo, which I’ve never done before, but the kids will love.
it’s not super heavy duty. this works good I have only used it for the 1st year so far. It’s sort of like a coated poster board so it’s not super heavy duty it may not hold up for 13 years. I did make a mistake with my chalk marker and it did wipe up well now how well it will wipe up year after year i’m not sure. It’s not framed or anything just like a poster board material. I didn’t want to spend 30.00 on one as i have 3 kids and will need one for each child i wouldn’t have time to clean them and redo them the same day

Easy to clean. After looking at probably every first/last day of school chalkboards sold on Amazon I decided to go this one even though it’s basically just two pieces of relatively thick paper. I really wanted one of the thick double sided boards, but I either didn’t like the layout, the graphics, or the questions those had. I used the Bandle B liquid chalk markers and they wiped off very easily with a wet paper towel even after a few days. If stored properly so they don’t get bent we should be able to use these for several years. I removed a star because it’s the same price as a lot of the thick, sturdier, double-sided boards, and because one of the bottom corners was bent.
