I’m not sure. Read full review. The media could not be loaded. NEWEST UPDATE: seller reached out after this review, offering refund, gift card or new sharpener if I change my review and give them a chance to make it right. So I give their customer service a full 5 stars but the pencil sharpener would be more of a 3. I did accept the new sharpener. It works and came with a second blade as well but I don’t have confidence that the blades or the sharpener will last past a year or two. Included a video with my review now.UPDATE:Within days of changing blade, the new blade just wrecks whatever you sharpen. Waste of money if its wrecked after less than 6 months.At first I loved this sharpener when we received it. Then after a few months the batteries died and we used it on manual mode. Then when we replaced the batteries and used it on battery mode again, it did an awful job sharpening. So I replaced the blade and it works great again but I didn’t expect that I’d have to change the blade after only a few months. The pic shows how it was sharpening after we used it on manual mode and how it looks after I replaced the blade.

Best ever. I have purchased numerous (much more expensive) pencil sharpeners. This is the best I have ever had. Perfectly sharpens every pencil we have tried. Also, I LOVE that it can be used with batteries or just manually. The benefit to this is that it can basically be turned off when not in use and you don’t have to worry about little hands putting fingers in it, or putting other things in it and it breaking. I never thought I would love a pencil sharpener so much!
Did as needed. This product was smaller and more lightweight than I expected, but it did sharpen my pencils with ease, very fast.
Nice, simple, compact, easy to use. Good deal for the price. Compact design means it does not take up valuable desk space. It cam w/ a replacement blade (and instructions) in the event the blade dulls and does not sharpen well. 2 AA Batteries is all it took to get it up and running. Does a great job and not real noisy either.

Battery operated, no Electric. I did not read the add completely, just saw “electric” pencil sharpener and ordered it. Before I intended to return it, I threw in 2 batterries and tried it. It works srprisingly well, It is so strong, that you have to hold the pencil tightly so it does not spin. I am always short of available electrical oulets so I will keep it. Still believe that the ad should have said “battery operated”, instead of electric.
Easy to use. I love this product because it doesn’t take up too much room at all, it has an automatic sharpener switch and a hand sharpener switch. There is even a lock on it to where when you are sharpening the pencils, you don’t have a mess. It’s quick, powerful. And not loud at all. I recommend this over the huge plug in sharpeners you’d see in your typical classrooms. 10/10 for sure
Perfect for school psychs. I love this sharpener. As a school psych, I often need pencils while working with students. I work at multiple schools so I don’t always have a good sharpener readily available or know where to find one. I never liked the small manual sharpeners that required lots of turning, and they became messy quickly with varying results in sharpening. This sharpener is small enough to put in my work bag, and is easy/fast to use and empty. Highly recommend.
Just a great sharpener. I ordered a sharpener because I love regular pencils for work. My grandgirl is hard on mechanical pencils, so we needed an option to a big bulky plug in model or hand sharpener that never does tge job. This one is small, battery operated, so cute, fun and great colors. It fits great on my desk and I bought one for her little desk. Great price for a really functional item.

Well Made-Compact-Works Extremely Well. Don’t be fooled when received. Our first though was slightly negative. It was small and did not think it would do the job. We were wrong, it worked well and had more than enough power. Only negative is that it is overpriced, lost a star. It looks like a dollar store item. We will check there next time.
Tiny adorable little sharpener. I bought this on a whim very quickly on my phone, and didn’t realize how teeny it is. I got it to sharpen my colored pencils for my adult coloring books, and it performs well for that purpose. It comes with more than one sharpener drum, too, which is nice. Good value.
