Wow! I’m impressed. I bought this shampoo because my last hair dye (roots only) didn’t take well and I thought maybe I had a build-up of product on my hair. I didn’t expect my hair to look great! It is so soft and healthy looking. I didn’t read the directions for use that say to leave on scalp for three minutes so I just lathered up and washed my hair as usual, most emphasis on scalp and roots. I used Olaplex conditioner on my ends only and let my hair dry naturally. My hair hasn’t felt or looked this good in a long time.I think you’re only supposed to use this shampoo periodically so now I want to buy their regular shampoo and conditioner as well. It is pricey but hey, if it works well, it’s worth it.
Curly Hair Game Changer. This stuff is crazy! I have natural curly hair that I have been straightening for years (10). My hair is fine and on the thinner side and hangs just below my bra. My curls are 2C-3A. I decided to stop fighting the curl but it didn’t want to come back. I have tried everything…no heat, curl cream, gel, mousse, every hydrating shampoo known to beauty, no brush, plopping, no towel…EVERYTHING. I was not excited about the price of this shampoo. It’s expensive for a relatively small bottle. My curl came back the first time! I used it with the accompanying conditioner. I have been able, occasionally during this process, to get my hair to curl but the curls don’t stay long. Since using the Quai they stay all day. Many days I can go 2-3 days without washing it and the curls still look good. I use it once a week. Worth every penny. The one downside is the smell. It is very chemical and strong. I can smell it the next day even if I wash my hair in another shampoo.
The only one that actually works. I finally found it – the shampoo that actually does what it says. I have been so frustrated with my hair, I tried every shampoo from clarifying to conditioning, detox, buildup removal, from cheap to expensive, I rinsed with vinegar etc…all with the same result – oddly frizzy, stringy, flat, just gross looking hair no matter how much I scrubbed. This one finally worked!! It’s quite concentrated it seems, I don’t have to use much to get a lot of lather. The only thing I don’t like is the scent, it smells like beeswax to me, but I can live with that because I have clean hair again! It doesn’t dry out my hair either. It’s simply CLEAN and easy to brush. I love this stuff!
Removed dry shampoo buildup. This product is typically more than I would pay for shampoo but my hair was nasty from dry shampoo buildup. It looked and very horribly dirty right after washing it. This morning I lathered and rinsed twice with this shampoo and my smooth clean hair is back!! I will still use dry shampoo because I’m lazy but I will be using this at least once a week or when I want to wear my hair straight and truly clean it well. I’m so relieved. I thought I had ruined my hair forever lol.
Smells Amazing. Love this! It smells so good but isn’t overpowering. It really helped with the product buildup on my hair. I’d always use Olaplex and it started to build up and make my hair greasy. This helped perfectly!
Instant Results. I have hard water with a filtration system but was seeing residue build up in my hair, making it look like I had bad dandruff. I have curly hair and after 1 use, this got rid of all the residue in my hair. It leaves my hair shiny and full of moisture after each use, which allows me to only need to wash my hair 1 per week. If you like the smell of apple cider vinegar, this is a toned down, sweeter smell but doesn’t leave your hair smelling strong. You will need to use a good amount of water to lather it up to ensure a quarter size portion gets your full scalp. I do often find myself using a little bit more than I have with other shampoos to ensure I have enough.

Needed detox for locs. Wow! I’m a male with dreadlocks and I was in need of detox where my hair wouldn’t smell like ACV for a day while.it dried out . This stuff is amazing. It is thicker than other shampoos ,which means it lathers up well. Definitely stripped and cleaned the gunk out of my locs ,including my scalp . This was my first detox and I can’t wait to do it again. Left my locs feeling soft ,and when dried ,they opened it real nice. Very expensive but worth it. Gonna grab a bigger bottle as it will last me a year or longer cuz this stuff is awesome sauce!

My hair looks, feels, and smells great. Bought this because my hair suddenly started looking greasy due to buildup. One wash with this and its back to looking and feeling clean and healthy.
Clean and shiny. Im in love with this shampoo! This shampoo is by far the best, it removes all the build up in the hair and gets rid of the scalp congestion. It leaves the hair super shiny…..LOVE

Works wonders. Have been struggling with my scalp and hair for the longest time. While pricey, it is worth it and works wonders. Scalp feels so clean (originally had lots of buildup and scalp felt itchy and uncomfortable). Hair is soft. Smells great (my son keeps touching and smelling my hair). Scent is like a light perfume – not strong, just right. 10/10
Best Detox Shampoo. I have very fine curly hair & these detox shampoo is all I use. I wash my hair twice a week with it followed up by Ouai’s leave in conditioner. It cleans my hair so good. After washing my hair it feels dryish/stiff in the shower but once my hair air dries it’s so soft. It really cleanses everything out of your hair. Nice scent too.
