I can’t believe this. There was a lipgloss I ALWAYS used as a teen. I used to by at my local Walmart but then nyx changed the number or name of it and I couldn’t find out which one it was. I saw this listing scrolling thru Amazon and thought it looked very similar to how my lipgloss I was OBSESSED with as a teen looked on me. So I got it. ITS THE ONE! They just changed the name and everything! I thought they stopped selling it! I was once a lifer and now that I’ve reconnected with it I will be again!!!!! This particular lipgloss color always made me look and feel tanner when I used it! Tbh I never moved on from it either. I just started using chapstick instead not caring to try to find another cause everytime I did try it just wasn’t the same! I cannot believe I found THE ONE again!!! I’m so excited I could cry!!!!!! I will be back to buy way more!!
I will never use another product again. I just tried this brand. I was nervous at first but I needed something to complete the $25 minimum for free shipping and after a lot of being skeptical to do so I decided to go for it. WOW. The color on me looks fabulous. It is the perfect shade. What I found most amusing though is not that the color is fabulous. The day I first tried it we had a flash flood and I was walking my dog in the pouring rain. I came back head to toe drenched but my lips were still flawless. This product last for a shockingly long time. I even ate dinner and after it was still standing strong. I am thrilled by this product and wish I knew about it a lot sooner in life. I am so very happy.
Love the Sorbet color. Unlike the lip glosses of old, the NYX Butter Glosses are not sticky. Sorbet is a gorgeous color. It’s pretty sheer, so I can wear it even though corals don’t always work with my skin tone. Red velvet, on the other hand, is an almost opaque cherry red. That color is too strong for me, but anyone who wears red well would probably love it.
Gloss. It’s fairly light in terms of color pay off which is exactly what I wanted. It can be piled on a bit for more impact, but either way it’s got some color! Not as sticky as you’d think but not ideal for windy days if you have long hair, you know. Very shiny, transfers but doesn’t bleed, lasts until you wipe it off, and it doesn’t stain my lips or irritate them at all. Overall this is a fantastic gloss especially for the price. I have tried several color, just remember this is not completely opaque so if your looking for color payoff keep that in mind and go maybe a shade or two beyond what it looks like in the tube.
SO GOOD AND GLOSSY. I love this lipgloss so much you can wear it on top of lipstick or just plain on your lips. It last pretty long I would say like you can still see some gloss after about and hour but that’s so good! This lipgloss also smells so good and is smooth and not too sticky it’s great get it!
Love it. Originally got this in an amazon discount deal requiring a set number of items from a list to be ordered to get a discount on all of them. I found a few things I wanted to buy anyway and this was one of the two items of types that I use often but that I hadn’t tried in particular. I don’t wear makeup often, but lip glosses is something I use a lot, if not for appearance then as an alternative to lip balm, usually with better flavors and longer lasting than balms. This was the first lip butter gloss I ever tried and was very pleased. It has a heavier and creamier texture than most, a lot more color than most but not enough to be opaque like a lipstick and the flavor is pleasant. I liked it enough that I have since purchased two more colors/flavors when I was placing a gloss heavy order at Ulta and is my first choice in my glosses when I actually want a gloss with a lot of color.
Perfect color, smooth feel. This is one of my very favorite colored lip glosses. It has such a nice smooth feel and stays on my lips for a good while. It is not sticky at all and doesn’t have any unpleasant taste. This color is perfection! A lot of colors tend to go hot pink on my lips for some reason but this stays a pretty neutral, barely-there color. I love it and keep it on my subscribe and save.

The best, and I mean the BEST, lip gloss I have ever used. This lip gloss surpassed my expectations, especially for the price point. I am always hesitant of lip gloss because I can’t stand to wear a gloss that is thick, sticky, or dry. The Butter Gloss is the opposite of that—it is sleek, just like butter. I love that it comes in so many shades but clear is my favorite because it works over any lipstick. I like to wear it on its own as well. I honestly can’t think of a single critique for it. If you are debating whether or not to purchase, don’t hesitate. Trust me, once you try it you will have it on subscribe and save! It’s definitely luxurious with an affordable price.
Love them sm. I was under the impression that I ordered one single gloss but I received a pack of three so I’m not complaining lol. Super cute color and looks great on my brown skin paired with a dark lip liner. Definitely black girl approved. I love nyx butter glosses so much, the only glosses I use besides clear ones from the beauty supply. Will definitely buy again.

10/10 love this gloss. Smells good, looks good, applies smooth, moisturizing, need I say more? Incredible quality for the price. I love this shade so much with my fair skin and can’t wait to try others! Fairly thick and stays put unless physically smudged but it’s a gloss so that’s somewhat expected. Very nice opacity on the color, definitely more than a tinted gloss but less than a liquid lipstick, the perfect in between!
Very cutesy very demure. Its a very nice and hydrating product that makes your lips pop! The down fall is that the formula is a BIT sticky even tho it says “non-sticky” it is. And you need to reapply its every about 30 minutes! Over all great product.
Great products. Apple Crisp: Love the texture- somewhere between a gloss, stain, and a balm. “Butter” is accurate as it’s not too shiny and it feels like butter on lips. Love the red of Apple Crisp. To me it’s a true red- not too pink, orange, or blue, but maybe leans slightly towards a pinker red. It’s pretty neutral for my warmer toned skin. Also, for the red blush/natural flush trend: blended out on finger tips and patted on cheeks, it’s my perfect red blush with just a touch of photo finish fine powder to set it.Also got these 2 (photos are artificial light and natural light)Ginger Snap: left side arm swatch which is a cooler mid-toned mauve/brown. Kind of a your-lips-but better if you have more medium toned skin or darker natural lip color. It’s a no-brainer color for me.Rocky Road: right side of arm swatch. I already tested this in person, but they were out of it. So I was fully aware of the HUGE color discrepancy between the NYX marketing photos and the actual color. It is more of a medium-dark red-brown. That would be my only complaint about these glosses is the NYX photos are pretty off for many of these. Best if you can find a store with testers first, but they’re inexpensive enough that taking a risk might not be that costly.
My FAVORITE go to Gloss. This is the best lip gloss I’ve ever used!!!!! It’s a perfect shade. It applies just like butter!!!!!!!! It’s really a comfortable wear. It stays on a while. A really great buy!!!
