If you want to take a calcium supplement, this is the one. I had to get a bone graft on my upper jaw so I could get dental implants to replace my two front teeth. My periodontist had to remove bone almost all the way up to my nasal bone. The way a jaw bone graft works is they first remove unhealthy bone, then pack the space with bovine derived bone matrix. Your body will then naturally replace the graft with its own bone over time. That’s where calcium hydroxyapatite comes in. For your body to synthesize new bone, it needs calcium in amounts greater than the daily recommended allowance. Calcium hydroxyapatite is the most bioavailable form of calcium, therefore your body will use more of it as opposed to excreting it. I am living proof of this.My bone graft was so extensive that my periodontist warned that after six months, if the x-rays indicated so, I would need another bone graft (additional surgery, cost, and six more moths of healing). Given the extent of the graft, a second surgery was likely. I didn’t want to go through the surgery and cost again, so I began my research and found this product. After six months my x-rays indicated that my jaw had regenerated itself much more than my periodontist expected. His exact words were “man, you’re like the Wolverine!” I didn’t need another bone graft. I attribute this to two things: a healthy diet and taking calcium hydroxyapatite. My case inspired my periodontist to begin his own research in order to safely recommend calcium hydroxyapatite to other patients. All this began over a year ago and my dental implants are strong in my newly synthesize jaw bone. I needed this product for a specific purpose, but I continue using it daily. I’m basically indestructible now.Two thing you should know about using this product to get the most effective results:1. The body can only metabolize about 1500mg of calcium per day. That 1500mg should be sparsed throughout the day. Each capsule contains 500mg calcium hydroxyapatite, so taking one capsule three times daily will be more effective than three capsules all at once.2. The human body requires vitamin D-3 in order to synthesize bone from ingested calcium sources. To get the maximum benefit from taking calcium hydroxy apatite, consider a vitamin D-3 supplement as well. I take one 5000 IU vitamin D-3 softgel with each dose of calcium hydroxyapatite. Your needs may vary, but those doses worked extremely well for me.I am not a professional and this is only my opinion, not medical or any other kind of advice.
I’ll edit the review later but so far so good. This is the calcium they recommend when the doctor tells you to take calcium they don’t tell you what kind or some kind or stick in your arteries. What you don’t want this and citrate it’s OK. Make sure you take K2 D3
Reliable, clean brand. Always have success with this brand vitamins. As good or better than really expensive brands.Dose is maybe just too high for me.
Pleased with this supplement brand. Using this for teeth strengthening support. I open the capsules and use the powder on a toothbrush every am & pm. I was interested in toothpastes that include hydroxyapatite but decided I like the paste I’m currently using so I just added the hydroxy apatite powder from these capsules. So far, so good. I’ve noticed cleaner feeling teeth, it hasn’t caused any sensitivity and I think my teeth look whiter. Will continue to use.

That they work. This is my second bottle, my doctor told me to take calcium vitamins, I’m not a good eater and these have helped my body my legs feel good, I’m 58 years old I also take vitamin D3 works wonders. I recommend and the price is good for the quality.
Hydroxyapatite is what our bones are made of. I bought this type of calcium because hydroxyapatite is supposed to be a very absorbable form of calcium and it’s what our bones & teeth are made of. So far I am not sure of the effect. The pill is kind of large but I don’t have a problem swallowing it with a glass of water. I don’t like that it has the filler magnesium stearate. I try to avoid that. But I couldn’t find another affordable brand without fillers.
Why I always check Amazon when I start using a new product. These capsules are double the strength so I take two each day instead of four and there is the same number of capsules per bottle so it lasts twice as long! You can’t beat that. Thanks Amazon!

Great product if need to build teeth. You can build your teeth up. Do you have that transparent-like bottom to midway on your teeth? You know you know! Take this daily or open capsule and brush with non-floride toothpaste. Give it almost 2 months if you do daily. Will remineralize!

Most absorbable form of calcium. Pair with K2, D3 and magnesium (glycinate). I needed to remineralize my teeth after a long bout of horrible reflux. I had horrible sensitivity to cold and hot foods. My teeth had so little enamel that they had a bluish tinge. I tried many mineral supplements but the other minerals ended up causing issue. Most had ascorbic acid which my stomach can’t handle or magnesium oxide which is basically a laxative. So I started taking NOW’s MCHA calcium along with MK7 K2, magnesium glycinate and vitamin D. My teeth now are remineralize and no longer sensitive to hot or cold foods. If you are trying to strengthen bones, heal a break or remineralize your teeth, make sure you take magnesium, K2 and vitamin D with the calcium.
