PREMESSA: come tutti gli smartphone sotto al 250 euro stiamo parlando di un low level… chi pretende velocità ipergalattiche e foto professionali sbaglia target: che si compri uno smartphone da 600 euro.Ciò premesso trovo questo Motorola G62 un ECCELLENTE low level: schermo fluidissimo coi suoi 120 Hz, colori eccellenti, Android 12 praticamente di stock, quindi pulito ma completissimo. Foto accettabili. Le app si aprono in un attimo. Audio forte e chiaro, oltretutto stereo coi suoi due altoparlanti. Ovvio mancano i bassi.E’ brandizzato TIM, ma l’ unica cosa che vedi sono un cartoncino TIM (almeno qualora venduto da Amazon) attaccato esternamente alla scatola sigillata e 3 app TIM preinstallate che non danno il minimo fastidio. L’ unica pecca forse la luminosità deficitaria in situazioni molto luminose, es. sotto al sole, problema d’ altronde comune nei telefoni con display IPS.Chi si lamenta per internet e hotsopt lenti, guardi le immagini allegate: il modem del G62 (4G+ Cat. 18) è fin più veloce (prima immagine) del modem del mio eccellente router 4G TP-Link (Cat. 6, seconda immagine). Il fatto è che occorre considerare dove sono le antenne 4G e di quante bande dispongono: se in zona c’ è una sola antenna CA1 (mono banda) a 4 Km sperare che un qualsiasi modem 4G+ lavori bene è pia illusione. Se poi per tethering e trasferimento dati si usano dei cavi USB 2.0 cinesi da 1,50 euro invece che un cavo USB 3.0 di qualità… anche.EDITTIM ( la mia SIM è TIM) si è accorta che ho cambiato telefono e mi ha regalato 3 mesi di 5G di prova. La terza immagine si riferisce appunto ad un test 5G. Notare che in zona il 5G è ancora il lento NSA.

Won’t work in US. Was really excited about getting this phone but it doesn’t work in the US. Not sure how Amazon could sell and ship a phone to Indiana that doesn’t work here.

Sono molto soddisfatto di questo telefono: della fotocamera me ne frego, ma ha una grande quantità di RAM e di archiviazione e non ha problemi di rallentamento come molti altri di questa fascia di prezzo

È un telefono fatto molto bene, che fa le stesse cose di un telefono da 1000 euro. Ormai gli smartphone sono dei veri e propri computer portatili con prestazioni che negli anni 80/90 te le sognavi. Con pochi soldi ti porti a casa un telefono che fa tutto senza troppe pretese. Qualità audio e video buona. Peccato per la batteria, cosa a mio avviso molto importante! (dura un giorno circa). Motorola sotto questo punto di vista protebbe migliorare.

So I previously had a moto g7 power and the battery life on that was insanely great. This is not as good, but still pretty ok. I’ve had it nearly 4 months so I feel like I can accurately review it now. Overall, the phone has a better camera, better sound quality and is just easier to use with more handy features than the g7 power.The big issues for me (which are relatively minor) are that the microphone jack on this phone does not work, just like the jack on the g7 power didn’t work. Motorola need to sort this out. Also there are no compatible microphones for this model unless you download a separate camera app, another issue. Another is that when you record video with the front camera, it is the mirror image of reality and you need editing software to flip it back (this isn’t an issue with photos weirdly…). So yes there are a few annoying niggles but overall, a good phone at a good price and I appreciate the extra storage for videos etc.Important to note is that the phone is an international model (it works in the UK by the way, that wasn’t entirely clear when I bought this as no uk reviews were written at the time) I didn’t realise when I bought this that this means that the box is opened and the European plug removed and replaced with a UK plug. Not being warned about this before purchase made me think that I’d accidentally bought a used phone. Vendors could.save themselves hassle by making that clear.Another thing that no one tells you is that you will have to take time off work to get this phone. The delivery company want a signature and will only try three times before returning it to the sender. Also Amazon won’t actually tell you a delivery attempt has been made just that it is out for delivery… sigh. So you need to check the tracking on the delivery company’s website directly instead to ensure you don’t miss it.Apart from that though, it’s been great and I’d recommend the phone as it’s great value.
