Nice weeder. Does well on weeds and hand does not seem so stressed!
Not a bad tool but nisaku horihori+stirrup hoe is better. It’s not a BAD tool but I have a hula hoe and a nisaku hori hori japanese traditional garden knife, and this does a worse job than either for any given job I’ve tried it at.It has barely any ability to be used as a trowel, there isn’t much “scoop” to the design. The forked section isn’t very sharp and there isn’t really any fulcrum built into the design to use the fork like a traditional weeding fork, so it’s not very useful at all. The saw teeth are very small and not much good, much less effective than the meaty teeth of the nisaku hori hori.I will return it. If you have a small garden and you only have one tool for weeding, I suppose this wouldn’t be a terrible one. But I have the other two tools (about $45 invested between them) and I find this is not useful.Really a hula hoe + any sturdy knife would be better imo.
Weeder. This is one of the best tools to remove weeds I’ve ever used!
works well. my wife is a master gardener and she loves it.
Good quality. Perfect for my gardening needs
Not great. It’s “okay”, but for the price, I’ve gotten a much better hori-hori knife that is stainless, wood handled, and stamped in Japanese. This one is produced by Snowjoe for MS and made in Vietnam; it’s galvanized with a soft plastic handle. It arrived with rust on it. The cutting edges are not great. It didn’t come with a sheath.
Not the best. Blade is shorter than normal
Very handy, good value. Sturdy little tool, works great. These might be old stock — I got mine deeply discounted, but it had some faint spots on the back of the metal blade which others have mentioned. Fine for the price, I needed a weeding tool with a little more oomph and this is it. The blades on either side (one plain, one serrated) are sharp enough to cut through fairly hard roots and tubers. I even used it to chop through oversized chunks of veg that got into the compost pile. Wish it had a wooden handle, but the plastic is comfortable too.
Great tool. Great tool for the garden, use it a lot, it’s very sharp and sturdy, it’s easy to work with, and makes working in the garden faster.
Great garden tool. Great tool at a good price. Clever design digs, chops, and cuts.
