Training collar that dog responds to well. I spent a fair amount of time trying to find the right vibrating training collar. This one has three features: beep, vibrate and shock. I’ll break down each one:1. Beep: As you’d imagine, pressing the beep button lets out a single beep. There is no way to adjust the volume, which is a bit of a downside.2. Vibrate: The vibrate function is similar to your cell phone vibrating. Adjusting the dial basically changes how long the device will vibrate for. If the collar is loose on your dog and your dog has long hair, it might not feel the vibrate that well.3. Shock: Comes with two sized shock prongs. I wish there was a medium size between the two. If you don’t add the prongs, you won’t accidentally shock your dog (as long as your dog has hair). Prongs need to touch dog skin for shock to work. Shock should be used as a last resort. The remote can be powered off with the switch. This is nice for not accidentally setting it off. The collar can be trimmed short to fit your dog. To turn off the collar, press the button twice.Battery lasts a long long time. I’ve owned for a few months and have only charged it once. Range seems to be fine. I always have my dog within visual sight. Waterproofing seems to work fine too. There is a rubber gasket to cover the charging port.I wish the USB connections were USB-C at this point. Anyways, for the price, this collar seems to work just fine. I wish that the shock and vibrate power could be adjusted independently.
I haven’t used much yet but based on the training I had with my dog and a proper coach; who thought me how to use the collar and the reasons why I should be using it, this one suits my needs and works really well for the price paid. The coach had one with electronic display, but this one is just easy to work it out and the battery seems to last quite a bit.I regretted not buying the option with 2 collars for the same remote, considering I have 2 dogs and would had been great for both.
The collar and it’s hand controller are robustly made and reliable. our dog a (Jack Russell) is a very very active dog on a large acreage, he’s tested this collar in nearly every possible way over the past 6 months. this collar has been fully submerged so many times in our dam I’ve lost count as our dog loves to swim. this collar has been so helpful since it arrived we could imagine our dog without it just for peace of mind..pro’s:1.. both collar and controller are robustly made, especially the hand controller.2.. battery life has been fantastic, no problems..3.. the collar is really water tight and has been submerged countless times, I’d say well over 50 times..4.. it’s range “while limited” it is still very useful, so don’t let that put you off.5.. it works great, it helps get that head-strong naughty spoilt dog to come at just a beep sound.6.. it’s simple, well made, robust and very reliable with great battery life…cons:1. the working range of the collar could be longer… about 200-220 meters effective range were getting, that said if your dog goes out of range just go for a walk..2. the collar can go to sleep (battery saving measure) and you have to press the (sound-Beep) button on the controller for about 4 seconds before it wakes up again, this can make you question if it’s working sometimes, especially if your dog is out of range.. on two occasions we’ve had to activate the collar manually on the dog, because the controller wouldn’t wake the collar up… But 98% of the time the collar does wake up through the controller even at range and starts flashing, which is great at night.3. the prongs on the collar can unscrew over time and can fall out, do them up tightly and check them once a week.. this was error on our part, the collar came with 2 sets of prongs for big dogs and small.
Improves dogs behavior. As a dog owner, I can’t help but share my excitement and satisfaction with the dog training collar I recently purchased. This collar has proven to be a game-changer in our training efforts, and here’s why I highly recommend it to fellow dog parents:First and foremost, the training collar’s effectiveness is remarkable. Its various training modes, such as vibration, beep, and static stimulation, allow for tailored training sessions based on our dog’s specific needs and temperament. The collar’s adjustable intensity levels ensure that we can find the perfect balance between correction and positive reinforcement, creating a conducive learning environment for our furry companion. The collar’s build quality is exceptional. The materials used are durable and weather-resistant, ensuring it can withstand rough outdoor activities and adverse weather conditions. It’s also designed to be comfortable for our dog to wear, so there are no worries about discomfort or irritation. One feature that stands out is the remote control’s range. With an impressive distance, we can easily issue commands and corrections from a distance, allowing our dog to explore and roam freely while still receiving guidance and training. Moreover, the training collar has significantly improved our dog’s behavior. Whether it’s teaching basic commands, addressing behavioral issues, or reinforcing positive behaviors, the collar has proven to be a reliable tool in our training arsenal. The collar’s battery life is impressive, holding a charge for extended periods, which is particularly useful during outdoor activities or extended training sessions. Additionally, the collar and remote both have clear battery indicators, ensuring we know when it’s time for a recharge. The training collar also offers a humane approach to training. While the static stimulation is there as a last resort, the vibration and beep modes are usually sufficient to redirect our dog’s attention and guide them towards the desired behavior. This positive reinforcement aspect aligns with our training philosophy, making the collar an ideal fit for our training approach.
Dog responds well to the beep. Title: Reliable and Effective Training Tool for My Pooch!Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)I recently purchased the MAISOIE Dog Training Collar for my beloved canine companion, and it has proven to be a reliable and effective training tool. The IPX7 waterproof feature and impressive remote range of 1300ft are definite highlights of this product. The first thing that impressed me was the collar’s durability and waterproof design. My pup loves playing outdoors, regardless of the weather, and the IPX7 rating gives me peace of mind knowing that the collar can withstand splashes and occasional rain showers. It’s a perfect match for my active dog’s lifestyle. The remote range of 1300ft is a game-changer, especially during off-leash training sessions. I can confidently allow my dog more freedom to explore while still maintaining control over his actions. The long-range also comes in handy during outdoor activities, making it easier to manage his behavior in open spaces. The training modes and intensity levels on the remote are intuitive and easy to use. I appreciate the range of options available, allowing me to customize the training experience to suit my dog’s needs and temperament. The mild static stimulation is rarely required, as the vibration and beep functions usually grab my dog’s attention effectively.Additionally, the collar’s construction is comfortable for my dog to wear. The adjustable strap fits securely and snugly without causing any discomfort or irritation, even during extended use. However, my only concern and reason for not giving it a perfect rating is the battery life. While it generally lasts through a full day of training and outdoor activities, I find myself recharging the collar and remote more frequently than I expected. A longer-lasting battery would make this training collar even more impressive. In conclusion, the MAISOIE Dog Training Collar is an excellent investment for any dog owner looking to improve their canine’s training and obedience. The waterproof and long-range features make it perfect for outdoor use, and the various training modes ensure a customized experience for every dog. With a slight improvement in battery life, this product would undoubtedly receive a solid five-star rating from me. Nonetheless, I highly recommend it to fellow dog parents seeking an effective training solution for their furry companions.
so far i actually love these collars. we have hardly had to use the functions on these collars .. the dogs have learned when they see the controller they are being watched lolthey will come over and touch the controller with their nose (not taught) and wag their tails to let me know they are aware that it is on.Just be careful and dont let your grandchildren get ahold of the controller .. they have a tendency to want to see what happens when it is turned all the way up and shock the dog .. let me tell you .. he got into some severe trouble. So that everyone (including the adults) understood what the collar felt like when being used, we each were buzzed and shocked on each of the settings. I think he learned his lesson. And so did we all.. I highly recommend if you have children you let everyone in the household feel the effects of this collar, so you will know how high you trully intend to go with the shock .. it is eye opening to say the least. After all this is on their neck .. we tried on our leg .. and the grandson decided he didnt want to try the highest setting that he had used on the dog. He now understands what he did to the dog.So please .. for the benefit and love of your animals .. get to know the collars abilities personally!
Great product, but you must have the remote at all times. Great product for training. The shock is a TOUGH shock. I don’t even have the heart to use it at a one or two setting. Test it on yourself before you test it on your animal. The noise and vibration work better in my opinion and are much more ethical. Would be even better if it buzzed or made noise when the dog barks. It can be a haste to be by the remote all the time. But excellent training tool.
It really works. While the beep doesn’t deter our puppy, the vibration and static modes definitely make her stop the offending activity (biting, chewing shoes, jumping up on tables or counters, digging in flower pots…etc. etc.). It’s been less than a week and I’ve noticed her thinking twice before starting the bad behavior of the moment. After a few times, she’ll realize she should walk away and stop.I feel like it’s made a huge improvement, because TBH, just saying “No!” sternly or pushing her paws or jaws away didn’t dissuade her antics at all. The remote control is easy to use once you figure out what channel the collar is on. We usually charge both overnight, so I don’t know how long the charge would last for. Overall, very pleased with an affordable and effective product.
Didn’t last a month. Bought end of July but didn’t use until maybe the end of August. It worked great until it didn’t. The collar won’t even take charge😡 Now it’s been 30 days I can’t get my $ back. I ordered another one hoping I just got a lemon. This one is working great so far. I will keep an eye on it and the date! So if it starts acting up I’ll be sending it back before the 30 days are up. Praying this one works and keeps working!
Works great. Purchased for our 20lb Boston terrier. Able to control intensity level of beep or shock. Beep is loud enough for us to hear and works good enough that we rarely use the buzz function. Would purchase again. Great product for price paid!
Good…..but. So, this shock collar is nice in some ways. My dogs are trained on an invisible fence so they respond to the beep, and I haven’t had to use the shock aspect yet. I have tried to use it a couple of times and it has not had any impact, but I don’t know if that’s because I have the dial turned way down to between 1 – 3 (I wanted to start out on the low end), or if the collar wasn’t tight enough. So, I’m still playing with that aspect of it. But I have one major complaint thus far, and that is the battery life is complete trash. I don’t understand why it won’t hold a charge. If I get the collar to hold a charge then the remote won’t, or vis-versa. With the level of technology today this really should not be an issue on a brand new product. So, I’m finding that I need to charge both collar and remote a few times a day. And what’s worse, there’s no way to charge them both at the same time. So, if you change one over night then by morning the one that wasn’t charging over night is virtually dead. And the indicator lights are kind of stupid they way they’re set up. The remote light turns off when it’s completely charged and the collar light stays on steady when it’s completely charged. And the instructions say that they need to charge for 2-3 hours to be completely charged, but the indicator light on the remote goes off after 30 minutes of charging, which the instructions say that is what indicates a full charge. It kind of ridiculous. But, for the extremely low level of training we are using it for these nuisances aren’t a huge issue, just annoying. I’m not entirely sure we will keep this product, we’re still working with it to see if the shock aspect works, and trying to find a way to charge both things at the same time (extra USB cord and brick). But the battery life is proving to be ridiculous.
Great value. Works perfect right out of the box. Battery holds a charge for a long period of time. Easy to use.
Works great. I purchased this for my 12 month old beagle/australian Sheppard mix because he is very vocal and bigger than we were anticipating. I like the different modes and the options to beep and vibrate instead of shocking every time. He has used it for a week now and his behavior has improved significantly. He has only had to be shocked once and otherwise responds so well to the beep and vibrate
Dog training collar, 2 pack. These are awesome. For dogs that like to eat cat poop, they won’t go near it with the collars on. It has 3 controls, beep, vibrate and shock. I like the beep the best because I can hear it. Works great in the dark to tell where your dogs are too. If I beep one dog, both come running. Thank you so much for making these.
Best buy for my money. This unit has worked really well for me. My dog has been acting like a teenager with headphones on(the whole huh? You were talking to me?) The vibrate button is a real attention getter without any pain to her. It is easy to set up and use. Mention food and she hears just fine. Call her in and not so much. The level 2 vibrate gets her attention and tells her I mean business. The beep will turn her around quickly(she was trained on another system) and I haven’t needed to use the shock button at all. At $30 it’s a gift to self.
