Works good but trays don’t hold up. This has worked since the first of the year drying at least two batches per week. Does a good job with thin cut beef and chicken that I dehydrate for my dogs. The trays have had it though. All the plastic edges have broken. They are still usable for now but can’t last much longer. The replacement set of trays price is higher than the whole thing with the trays so I have to figure it was intended to be a disposable product. If you want to get more than a few months use, buy something else.
Works fine. It works just fine and as I had hoped when it comes to dehydrating peppers and veggies. I just wish there was some way to mute the machine. It’s really annoying when you check on whatever you’re dehydrating late at night and need to add more time. BEEP…. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP…. There should be way to change time or temperature without waking the whole house.
Works great. It only got 4 stars because the hole in the center of the trays is a little inconvenient. But otherwise it’s amazing!I love that by simply rotating the trays you can make them closer or further from the trays above/below it!It’s quiet and takes up very little space and is easy to use
Did a great job. Dehydrated my entire garden with this. A little noisy but I will take it cause it did an amazing job. Don’t use your stove ever.
Be gentle with it. I have been making a ton of beef jerky with this. It’s not huge and it’s a bit flimsy but it gets the job done
Very good features for the price, but flimsy trays. This seems to be a good dehydrator for the price. Yes, there are cheaper ones available, but they have plastic trays and lack digital controls (and might not have operation manuals either).This dehydrator has digital time and temp controls. It has a helpful guide book with some recipes, operating info, time and temp suggestions for various foods. The book, sadly, seems to have been written by someone who couldn’t speak much English. Portions of it are impossible to grasp, and the reader is left guessing as to what the author might be attempting to express. That said, it is still better than most instructions accompanying cheap electronics these days, and the really important stuff, namely the time and doneness chart for various foods is great.The trays are metal screen within a clear plastic frame. These trays seem rather flimsy, like they are the thinnest possible allocation of materials. I don’t expect them to hold up for very long with regular use. I almost docked a star for that, but really, I guess I have to consider that this is comparatively a low priced item, so longevity isn’t to be expected. If I get a lot of use from this dehydrator, I will replace it later with one that has a sturdier construction.I have used it a few times already, and love being able to dehydrate foods at home. It really is worth buying if you compare the mark-up on stuff like beef jerky and dehydrated marshmallows and fruit “chips” to what it costs to make them at home with this dehydrator. It might be healthier to home dehydrate foods, especially since you will not be adding a bunch of preservatives and chemicals like most of the plastic packaged foods have.The dehydrator was also very well packaged and boxed securely for shipping. It more than exceeded expectations in that regard.Bottom line: It has a lot better features than the slightly cheaper dehydrators. It comes with instructions and has steel trays. The only compromise is that the trays don’t feel very sturdy. I would recommend this one if you’re looking for a budget priced dehydrator that has some of the features of higher end ones. But, if you think you’ll get a lot of use from it, and if longevity and sturdiness is important, then perhaps it would be best to get a more expensive and durable model.
My new favorite appliance. We recieved a bunch of dried fruit and my kids absolutely loved it. I wanted to make it ourselves so picked this up. My wife isn’t thrilled with another gadget on the counter but this thing is great! I’ve dried bananas, mangos, apples, kiwi, cantaloupe, plums, cherry tomatoes, and made beef and venison jerky. It’s really easy to operate and comes with some suggestions on baking times. It’s not an exact science but it’s great to experiment with different times to get different levels of dryness. The grates clean up really easy too. If you’re thinking about trying to dehydrate food, this is a great place to start. It looks great, great value in my opinion, and has performed well. Highly recommend!
I love this thing. I craved beef jerky but it’s so expensive in the stores. I hesitated in buying a dehydrator because of them taking up so much space. I used to have a larger one years ago and it was difficult to store.This dehydrator is JUST the right size, taking up maybe as much space as a 4 slice toaster or a little more.It’s also very efficient, taking less time to dry the meat.Those that say it has flimsy trays are just being too hard on them. I let them soak for a few minutes and used a cleaning brush to clean the trays.Very good buy, great price (it was on sale) and works perfectly for me.

Excellent for Small Food Projects. We bought this dehydrator a while back and we are really enjoying it today. We dehydrate all of our game meet that we have made into jerky and it works wonderfully for the small amount that we do at a time. The racks are meshed which makes them easy to clean. The unit is easy to clean after each use. It does come with a small book that gives a temp and time guide for fruits, veggies and jerky. There are two settings for the temperature which helps keep some foods from going bad, or over heating certain fruits that can go bad at the higher temperature level. I would be willing to buy another unit if need be. Thank you!

I first dehydrated 🍎 apples that were getting a little old and they turned out to be the best tasting apples ever. My next was garlic, took about 17 hours and I had all 5 trays full, and it turned out perfect for me to make garlic powder. The noise level is very minimal, hardly noticeable. It seemed to dry out the garlic evenly on each tray, as I kept checking to be sure it was doing it’s job and I must say it did. The time and temperature control was fairly easy for me, as it is similar to the time/temp on my airfryer. I set it for the recommended temperature in the instruction book that came with it but I set the time at 4 hours so I would go back and check to see how it was doing and then reset it again several times until the garlic was fully dehydrated. I put dehydrator silicone sheets on each tray, so clean up was a breeze. One key point, is to make sure you slice everything the same thickness . Very much worth it and I’m well pleased with it.

Worth the price. Worth it. Easy to use, light white noise not loud at all. Wide range of temperature control and time control. Set time and temp, once the time is up, it powers off. Works well, the trays can hold wide range of foods.
Works Great. Functions as it should, multiple time and heat settings. Mild white noise while running, kind of comforting though lol. Have successfully dried herbs, fruit, and wild game jerky! Food smells great while dehydrating! Small footprint and the trays flip around for taller vs shorter items. Absolutely worth the price!

grab silicone mats. Works great, just big enough for my usage. Have only done fruit so far, bit silicone mats are a must buy. Don’t think of them as am accessory, more of a necessity.Simple to use, the included book has many times and Temps for usage.
Great dehydrator. My husband and I got this to make jerky out of extra meat we have, and it does so well, the temperature and time is accurate, and it is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Great to have, at an affordable price
Inexpensive and durable. I have had a couple of inexpensive dehydrators, this one is compact, easy to clean, and functions really well. Makes great jerky and cinnamon apples. Timer and temperature control is spot on. Nice manual included with suggestions.
Works so good I bought 2 of these. The price of this may be cheap but to me it works better than the expensive ones. 5 trays is what it comes with. They are pretty small but this thing works amazingly. 158 ferenheight is the max and the hourly goes past 11 hours so that’s always good if you had thicker leat you wanted to dehydrate
