Safety hazard. This is a great product; however I just encountered a safety hazard that could have resulted in injury to my puppy had I not been home. Her toe nail got caught in the slit of the bell and she went crazy jerking and twisting. Luckily, I was home when the bells starting ringing and picked her up and was able to get her nail out without it ripping out of her foot. Just a note of caution!
My puppy learned to ring the bell to ask to go outside. Potty training is the most tedious task when getting a new puppy. I don’t think there’s really any shortcuts, but once my puppy got the hang of it and started asking to go out she began ringing the bells to ask me to open the door to go outside. It’s much easier to hear than the soft scratches of her paw. Even my older dog is ringing the bells to go outside now. I just hung the bells on the doorknob of the backdoor and she picked up the idea on her own.
Worked to train my puppy. Our puppy was not doing well with training! If you can get yours to be with other dogs they learn from them too. We took out the puppy pads one day and put this on the door. We hit it every time she wanted to go out , then told her to ring it! She learned it quickly. Plus rewards for going out. Now she hits it with her nose, to go out. You could make one with anything like even Christmas decorations, but this one worked and was cheap.
Perfect for potty training. I hung these on the door I let the dog out of. I made her nudge them for a few days until she got it and it helped so much with potty training!!
Great tool. Works great. Our front door is hard to see from the rest of the house due to the long entryway. The puppy would go to the door but nobody could see him and he was peeing at the door. After I showed him this he was excited about it. I was worried he would rung it for fun or just to go chase crickets outside. He only rings it to go potty. It’s awesome.
Works Well. Works well for doggies to notify us when they need to go out. Only minor issues are that it can slip off the door knob if your not carefully and then you close the door it can sometimes get caught in the door. But it works well.

Great for puppy training. These door bells for dog training have come in handy! Our pup wouldn’t bark at the door if she needed to go outside she’d just sit by the door. We bought these bells and it has worked great. They are sturdy and long enough for her to easily reach. If she needs to go outside she now bats at the bells with her nose or foot to tell us she needs to go out. They are loud enough for us to hear them pretty much anywhere in our house.
Good Quality. Came as advertised but had to give them to someone else because the bells on the door were pretty annoying coming in and out and it confused my dog. But my friend was able to train her dog with these and loves them. I wouldn’t buy again but since my friend said they are great I wanted to give this a 5 star because it is useful!
As advertised, fabric strap with lots of bells. Considering the price of this, the product is great. I haven’t done measurements but the adjustability seems fairly accurate, I’d not a little long.No batteries to worry about, just a strap with bells on it! The strap seems durable enough, our pup was quick to train with it so she shouldn’t be treating it like a toy. If she did, I doubt it would hold up.Overall, good value for the money. Looks just as pictured in the product listing.
