has a white cast and goes on lighter than it appears. I am extremely fair and I’ve tried several shades of this powder and they all go on more light than the color it appears to be.It is also not as finely milled as the L’Oreal True Match powder.If you are looking for the powder to be your foundation – this is probably the right formula but use care when selecting the shade and if you are in between shades be sure to choose the darker of the two. I personally needed to go 2 shades darker than what I would select from other L’Oreal powder and foundation shades.I am able to use this powder as a matte highlighter on my browbone, cheeks, and just above the jawline for a sculpted look so It isn’t a total waste to have the lighter color.Note that there is a white cast so if you use the product you will see some white effect in photos that are taken with a flash.I had planned to use this as a foundation but I have many fine lines and I think that a powder foundation is generally not right for me because it tends to settle into those fine lines in a couple of hours – this is a separate comment from the color and is not a complaint about the performance.This product is NOT for someone with dry skin. You probably know that but if it is your first powder foundation: please use care.The product lid is difficult to open and the packaging itself is very thick and bulky in my purse. I don’t like to carry it or struggle to open it when I want to apply powder.*********Bottom Line************If you want a L’Oreal product to cover some shine – choose the True Match powder which you can also find on this site. It performs very well, is more finely milled, and the packaging is easier to open.If you want this product as a powder foundation: I recommend you choose or or two shades darker in your skin tone range (warm neutral or cool).
Love this foundation. I absolutely love the way this powder foundation feels and looks on my face. The only thing is I go through them very fast. I wish they would make it bigger so it could hold more. Otherwise I will order again.
Love this makeup. Works great, but hard to find in stores. I use over tinted moisturizer it covers well and not Cakey.

It’s so much better than the liquid foundations I’ve used for years.. the first shade/color that I ordered was too light, so I did an exchange for a little darker color.. it was very easy to exchange it and get the color that I’m happy with and I appreciate that as a customer.
LOTS of coverage from a powder foundation. I love trying out new makeup products and I kept seeing this L’Oreal Paris Infallible Powder Foundation on TikTok. The reviews were raving and the results looked impressive so I decided to give it a try and this is my honest review.So my skin type is combination, super oily usually but can easily get dry/flakey with retinol use, sensitive, uneven tone, large pores, acne prone and acne scarring. I usually use a very light powder over my liquid foundation because powders tend to collect in my scars/pores so I was a bit nervous about this product.The price is fair, the color matched the pictures and my skin (I got true beige), the compact is good quality but I ended up swapping out the applicator for a different one (I like more of a cushioned dry flat puff and the one that comes with it is kind of like a Beauty Blender material).This applies VERY thick and a little goes a long way. Just a little bit of it is able to blur my imperfections and redness easily. The end result is similar to using a full coverage liquid foundation which is so impressive.I will say, with my skin dryness I can’t really use this alone or it will really accentuate my flakiness. And with my oily skin it does cake in creases unless I use my setting spray. There is a bit of finesse to finding the perfect way to apply it and it changes for me every day depending on my current skin state. But this is a super quick and easy way to get full coverage on days where I’m in a rush.I usually apply my moisturizer, then primer, then liquid foundation, then I VERY lightly apply this on top. Or if I’m super lazy I just skip the liquid foundation and put this on a little heavier (as long as my skin isn’t dry/flaking that day).If you are looking for a full coverage powder, I would HIGHLY recommend this one. I am impressed by the pigment and power of this little compact. I have purchased it multiple times now.Hope this helps!
Fantastic pressed powder. This is my favorite pressed powder. I usually use it after my glow serum and foundation as a colored setting powder, but it def has some buildable coverage. I live in a super humid city, so the mattification on top of a glow serum evens out nicely. Not sure I’d recommend if your skin is dry, but otherwise it’s fabulous. Great color match for my skin too. 10/10.

TLDR: The quality of the foundation surpassed my expectations, but I was let down by how fragile the packaging is.I am far from a beauty guru; I have only ever used drugstore foundations, all of which have been fine but nothing amazing. I purchased this hoping that it would give me at least some coverage and would help me not look like an oily cretin for as long as possible after application. What I got was a foundation with incredibly buildable coverage (seriously, I’ve had to start applying blush for the first time in my life to add color back to my face), and I still look great at the end of the day without having to reapply. Also, it’s lightweight and incredibly comfortable to wear. It’s the best quality foundation I’ve ever used, and I’m so pleased with that aspect of it.HOWEVER, the product crumbled within just a few uses. In fact, I knew from reading other reviews that that was a potential issue and have handled it with great care; it has only ever been in my makeup bag at home (not getting knocked around in a purse or something) and I’ve handled it quite gently. Yet, after using it about 5 times, it cracked. I have been able to salvage it for now by putting it into another container and crushing it to use as a loose powder, but its durability has been disappointing.Overall, I would purchase it again with the expectation that it won’t last as a pressed powder.

Full coverage for half the price. I love the way the foundation feels on my face. I get full coverage w/o a matted look..
Love this. This gives the best matte finish and helps to reduce the look of shine from an oily face. It goes on smoother- easier to use and the color is like magic and matches the completion of your face. The quality is great value for the money and the longevity lasts all day.

L’Oreal Paris Makeup Infallible Wear Foundation in a Powder. L’Oreal Paris makeup powder foundation has been a game changer to my daily make up routine. I am totally sold on this powder. It is long lasting, waterproof, lightweight and covers great. Powder is wonderful to cover any blemish you may have. I apply on top of my foundation which makes my skin look smooth. Powder works with normal to oily skin who want their makeup to last all day.
