Keeps my hair straight, detangled & super soft. I have long fine hair and it’s constantly getting wavy or frizzy.I work in a retail store and my hair is constantly getting “pushed, pulled or tucked away”.Throughout the day my hair will go behind my ears causing waves or the humidity will cause my hair to frizz up. Because of this, I brush my hair like every couple hours and 9 out of 10 times they are tangles.When I straighten my hair, I do it in sections so I’m getting every area but not over heating the same area over and over. I sprayed this on the part of my hair I was going to run thru the straightener, combed it thru and then used my straightner (and then dry shampoo). I did this all over, then went to work.Throughout the day I run my fingers thru my hair to see if it needs to be combed out. Today I noticed it never got tangled back up. After lunch I brush my teeth and looked in the mirror and noticed a small wave (from putting my hair behind my ears), I brushed my hair and the wave was gone and my hair was straight again.My hair was also super soft and shiney. Like I said, I use dry shampoo and as you may know dry shampoo make your hair feel a little course/dry. After using this, mine didn’t at all, it actually made my hair soft like I just had a conditioner treatment or something. I even used the dry shampoo after I straighten my hair.You gotta give this a try. Protects your hair up to 450° and a little goes a long way. Also there are no unpleasant smells. At the time of writing this I honestly don’t even remember there being a smell, but if there was it must of been nice.
Works great, but. This product works amazingly well at straightening my hair; however, it says ok to use on damp hair -but this makes my hair sizzle.The worst part is that you will wipe out wherever the spray hits the floor! SLIPPERY !!!!I tried spraying product over the sink onto my fingers and then pulling it thru my hair this way and it worked ok.I am going to try putting newspapers down to absorb the spray, but what a pain this will be.But, otherwise I can guarantee a fall will occur.I like the product enough to keep it, but it is not safe to use.
Sleek and shiny. As I transition to grey hair, I notice my hair is getting dryer and more brittle after blow drying, so I decided to purchase this heat spray. It makes a marked difference in how my hair looks and feels, and this little bottle goes a long way! As other reviewers have noted, however, be cautious when spraying – it leaves a VERY slick residue on tile floors; even though I try to be overly cautious when spraying on the back of my head, I still find that my feet are slipping and sliding all over the bathroom floor. Great product – just be careful when you spray it!
It left my hair silky and soft. This product worked wonders on my hair! My flatiron doesn’t have adjustable heat. So you’re either getting nothing, or over 450f degrees of heat. I used this heat protection and my curly hair still reverted back after a wash. On top of the fact that it made my hair feel so soft and smooth but with a lot of bounce and body! “BOB, so they callin’ you Bob? ” kinda bounce, iykwim. Plus I love the smell! That’s personal preference though, so I’d say try it out for yourself.My routine for straightening: I applied it and comb it through before I blowdry. Then I applied more, concentrating on the ends bc I have color as well. I run my fingers through my hair to distribute it, dry it with the cool setting on my hair dryer. Then I flatiron, a few passes at the roots, but only one all the way through to the end. SMALL SECTIONS, but not too small. Medium speed passes, not too fast, or it won’t get as strange, and not to slow because then you’re just frying your hair and defeating the purpose. Lastly, a tip I was told and use, press the iron on a towel between pressing sections. This cools it down a bit and cleans some residual product off the iron.Good luck out there!
Love this stuff. I’ve never been one to use product in my hair, but I use a hair straightener every day, so I wanted some heat protection. I read good reviews about this stuff so I bought it. It’s amazing! I don’t spray directly on my hair. I spray in my hand and finger comb it through each side really good. My hair seems to dry faster and it makes it so soft! It also helps with knots! I will keep buying this stuff for sure!

Protects hair from blow drying and heat styling. Curls last. Prevents frizzing from humidity. I have long hair, and have had a few problems that this spray seems to be resolving.1) I use a blow dryer to dry my hair and then a curling iron to curl it after washing it. The blow drying makes my hair look dry, and the curling iron over time burns the ends. When using this spray, my hair does not look dry after blow drying, and feels and looks soft with no oily residue. Having cut off the dried ends of my hair, I am no longer experiencing heat damage on my hair from blow drying or using the curling iron.2) My hair is very straight and does not hold curl well. Previous to using this spray, after curling my hair in my second story bathroom, it was almost completely straight before I got to the first floor. Using the spray the curl last almost all day until I have to work on my plants in the basement.3) I grow most of our veggies and herbs in my large basement garden where the humidity is high and my hair is constantly blown by fans used to circulate the air. I spend 4 hours every evening with my plants and the humidity and fans remove any curl in my hair and also make it look dried and frizzy within a day after washing my hair. Since using this spray after washing, the humidity still straightens my hair, but the humidity and blowing of the fans no longer makes my hair look dried and frizzy. Interestingly, I have noticed this spray has this positive effect for about 3 days. If I use the spray again after 3 days when I curl my hair, I am good to go for another 3 days.This spray has become a regular in my hair care, and I will continue to use it. I use only a couple of spritzes of the spray and brush it through my hair. I don’t use so much as to make my hair feel wet, only lightly damp. I love that it doesn’t make my hair look oily, sticky or stiff and protects my hair from the heat of styling products and the humidity and blowing fans in my basement garden. Perfect for textured hair. As a Black girl with thick, textured hair, finding a heat protectant that actually works can be a challenge. But the L’Oréal Heat Spray has been a game-changer for me! Works great. Used this product for a long time i have extremely thick long hair and this is the only thing I use to straighten it with, smells good but be careful if it’s not a carpet floor if sprat hits it it’s slippery!

Good for real hair or weave. I have been using this for 2 months now. I can say it works well with my real hair and my weave. It does have a fragrance but it smells soooooo good. Especially when you blow dry your hair, the whole room smelled good. It does make my hair soft and adds some sheen to my hair as well.
