  1. Really loved this product until it broke for no reason. Update: Keysmart provides a 2 year warranty. That makes a world of difference. I contacted KeySmart directly and withing 24 hours I was replied to. Sent pictures, and order number and they agreed to replace it for free. That makes the product worthwhile in my opinion. Changed review to 5 stars because I love the product and when a company gets that thing can happen, that makes me a customer that will stick around.I had wanted one of these for some time as I love the efficiency of it, and was aimed to give it 5 stars. However, I only used it for a month and a half and then this happened. Pulled it out of my pocket and one side completely broke. It held only 3 keys so I would hate to see the stress fractures that occur from any more than that. I am not sure if I simply had a bad unit or what, but for the high price, I expect far more durability from a device such as this. Yes it is plastic, but I have used other devices that hold up to far more stress. They need a way to replace defective products from Keysmart, otherwise it is not worth the money if it is going to break after 90 days of casual use.

  3. Stir away … Save some money. Review after 3 months of usage:1. Battery life really suck, I never had to baby something like this and keep it juiced all the time ! Everytime I open the app it shows that my tracker needs to be charged. I don’t use the tracker that open and neither do I use the light! Battery is always drained.2… The most important thing! Tracking! What a joke, the first couple of days tracking worked like any other tile product. I love my tile pro but this one you have to be a room or two away for it to track. My tile pro tracked my key in the parking lot of a mall while I was shopping! This one couldn’t track my key in the same floor in my house! I recently was stuck in a tracking loop and it stopped working . So I did all the Bluetooth off on restart phone charge the unit nothing worked until I lost my key today and when I found it I decided to forget the keysmart in my tile app and pair up again. Guess what? It bricked the unit and permanently disabled the tracker on my keysmart. Emailed tile and they said we can’t do anything about it since it’s manufactured by keysmart and they will do the exchange . I emailed them and waiting for their reply.Regardless .. from my experience, if you want a key Organizer go ahead and buy the key smart without the tracker it’s an ok product although after this experience I’ll switch to orbit. If you want a tracker, get yourself a Tile Pro and don’t waste your time with the small trackers. Tile pro is loud and has zero issues. I still have the first version and I could track it and hear it in my storage underneath a pile of gadgets and electronics.

  6. Great Gadget with A Few Flaws. Initially saw this from a tech website in my google news feed. That website mentioned there was a sale on this particular version of Keysmart. Decided to give it a go because I did have too many keys on my keychain which I was too tired of keeping track of. It sounded like a good idea to consolidate them into one item rather than dangling them around and staying disorganized.Pros:Organization: I have never felt so organized with my keys until after I bought this. This is very useful if you have the amazing problem of having keys that look exactly alike but are for different locks. You are able to spread them out and make sure that there is no confusion on what key is what this way. I set my keys up so that keys I’m actively using are on one side then keys I rarely use but can’t lose and the ones on the o occasional use on another side.Lots of Features:This is the feature rich version of Keysmart so it has access to Tile, a flashlight, and a bottle opener. So far I haven’t been able to use a lot of the features as I’m mostly 9/5 and have been living a very indoor lifestyle with this pandemic so a lot of the features I would have used such as the flashlight or the bottle opener have gone unused. I also haven’t had to use the tile app or audio but I have tested them and they are very accurate for locating whether it is a lost keysmart or your phone. Once set up so if you also have trouble finding your phone just press the tile button on your keysmart and it will play music at a loud volume until you turn it off. So this would be great for someone who is constantly moving or who loses their keys often.Compact Design:I thought to myself why nobody thought of this before it was released because it just seems like a no brainer when you finally have something like this. Being able to not hear my keys raddling or segment them into different keychains has been the greatest feature out of this.ConsPrice: While I appreciate the features I don’t think it is worth more than $20 maybe $30 max. I got this it on sale, and had some rewards points through my credit card and it was around $25. While I understand this particular version is very feature rich it doesn’t explain why the others, including the most basic version, are more than $20 when not on sale.Unable to Completely Fit 10 KeysYou will not be able to fit 10 full size keys in this thing. It becomes too loose. I have about 6 keys of various types in this and it barely fits them all. I decided on just using My apartment’s mailbox key for example does not fit in theAssembly and Disassembly is Time ConsumingDo not, I repeat, do not think this is something you can just pull the handle off and take a key out and then throw it back together in a few minutes. The construction on this is very laborious. Once you set the keys it is very difficult to get these off. So understand you may have to compromise on certain keys especially ones that are borrowed keys.Overall:If you want organization this is great. I would say wait for a sale or if you have gift cards or rewards points as the price is a bit high. If you don’t need the other features even though they are very useful, stick to the standard less expensive versions which are lower in price.

  9. Works well but had one hiccup. The first one I ordered was an older model. It was dead on arrival. Charged for hours and didn’t even light up or hold a charge. Returned it and they sent a new model and it works perfectly. I have no complaints with the new one. I give 5 stars for the return process being simple and the new one working. As for the tile part of this item. Make sure you check your Google play subscriptions in case you accidentally opt in to tile premium cause that shizz is like 80+$ a year. They have a free trial that you could accidentally accept so just keep that in mind and opt out if you need to.Its a great item other than that. Definitely check it out. Worth it.

  10. Functional, but flimsy. Looks: Very sleek and streamlinedSetup: The technology of the Tile app synced with the Keysmart was super easy to install and get started. Adding the keys and Keysmart accessories was a little challenging to configure, but once I had everything aligned, it was smooth sailing!Function: Holds keys and accessories as advertised, but may take some getting used to when it comes to actually using them. The actual unit can become pretty cumbersome once everything is assembled. The flashlight works well enough for illuminating the key/tool you are using and the object directly in front of the Keysmart.Sturdiness and Durability: Only time can really tell how it holds up, but my first impressions didn’t inspire a lot of confidence. The materials used for the housing seem “plastic-y” and flimsy. I’m not sure if stronger, more sturdy materials would hinder the Tile chip or what, but the Keysmart looks metal and durable in the pictures and feels cheap in real life.I am not hard on my keys so it should be ok. I do not think that it would hold up long term for someone who is rough with their current key setup. It is disappointing to pay this kind of money for something that doesn’t feel solid in your hands. However, the accessories I purchased in addition to the Keysmart all feel very durable and sturdy and are a good value for the money.

  11. Awful in so many ways. Here is my honest opinion after really wanting to love this thing and using it for over a month. TLDR: Its a gimmicky little pile of garbage polished up just enough to trick you out of your money.ASSEMBLY: First, I’m the type to tinker and this thing is tedious to take apart. Go ahead. Scoff. I did too. Assembling this thing is about as smooth a ride as a truck with square tires.Hey but once you get it put together. Its together….Right? Well I hope you didn’t forget the locktite because its going to need the red stuff or it WILL come unscrewed. God help you when you have to go back through the reassembly process after the thing suddenly falls apart on you, while trying to get into the house. You remembered the order of all those spacers right? Its only about 20 of them and some wobbly hardware bits.FIT AND FINISH: Speaking of hardware, I loved the idea of having a bottle opener mainly because I’m a painter/carpenter and I like to use them for paint lids and stain lids. Well so much for that. The bottle opener is just as fiddly and cheaply made as the rest of the thing. And prying sideways with it is out the question because it WILL bend and probably break the little plastic body of the keysmart at the same time. Did I mention the body is made of a super cheap plastic that literally racks and twists while you unlock doors? I easily snapped it in half when I finally broke and threw this thing in the garbage where it belongs. And if you want to upgrade where the company cut corners, with something extra like a prytool that actually works, where does that go? because if it isn’t flat and standard key size you’re out of luck on cool keychain add ons. That is unless you want to add…..A KEY RING!EASE OF USE: But at least the thing is convenient to flip open and quickly get into doors…RIGHT? RIGHT?!?!?! NO, its awful. Id rather carry my keys lose in my pocket than try to fumble flip all my keys out just to sort and find the right one in this edc carnival game they’ve set up here. Its not like a knife that just pops out when you need it. You don’t have the space needed to flip them open individually so out comes all of them. But since you need those screws tight, so it doesn’t fall apart, you have to really work to get them open. Even with the spacers and all their velvety glory, its just a flipping fumbly mess. I spend way more time at doors with the keysmart than I ever did with a normal keyring.CARRY: Well what about the carry? That must be better than those jangly keys right? No not really. Its double the length of your longest key, which gives it a big profile when you hang it from a carabiner or something. Its very… noticeably there, when you carry it like this. Even with a small carabiner it hangs past the groin area. And yes it swings with the weight so its just not enjoyable.”Well they solve that problem with the pocket clip sold separately!”, you say? NAY SAY I!! Especially when the companies design dept blows. Because the pocket clip wasn’t designed to have a proper fit and what you’re left with is your car key fob attached to this long and now bulky thing that’s supposed to slip in and out of your pocket. And that’s just not happening. Your car fob becomes a grappling hook in your pocket. So when you go to retrieve said keysmart, it hooks onto your pants you look like a keymoron.TILE: Then we are left with tile. OH YES THE GENIUS HIDDEN AMONGST THE DUNG PILE! I can finally find my keys!I got sick of charging my keychain three days in. It just became another item that needed my attention to live and tile had been notifying of this fact every chance it got until I shut up the app. But heres the kicker, thats all solved with an actual TILE. If you want a tile on your keychain, they make a sleek little one that weighs less than this overpriced pos, it looks better, and when you need to charge it, you can easily remove it and take your keys with you.Summary: I hate this keysmart device. I hate everything about it. I strongly recommend a leather loop style organizer or just a plain ole key ring before this atrocity. Its designed horribly. Its built crappily with cheap plastic and it solves zero problems. It actually creates more problems and waste. This all speaks to the nature of this company if you ask me. Your products reflect your values. So, I doubt their new fangled versions are really going to revolutionize the way you key.

  12. Decent product. I managed to get my keys to hold on it. Keeps them very neat and tidy

  13. Works perfectly. It was great until I dropped it in a river. By then it wasn’t worth another $50. I loved it when it worked… honeslty I’ll probably buy it again when it makes sense to throw away a convenient bit of money.

  14. away saying they’re going to get one pr, I need one of those! I show them the “hidden keys”. The led light could be brighter and fit better . Better integration. It looks like the fit is hastily put together. Overall, Very cool, everyone asks me what is that? Pop out and show the tile app finding them also, I got the wallet slim card. VERY COOL.

  15. Great compact holder. This is compact and does the job, but it is a bit awkward to turn the key in the door. You feel like you may break the key.

  16. Works great on my tile and life360 app. I replaced my old/basic keysmart with this one since I started using tile tracking devices for my car and luggage. Adding this key to my account in the tile smartphone app was too easy. You have to charge every week or so to keep the battery going. One thing I wish tile trackers had was the arrow directional finder in the app like the airtag does on the findmy app. The airtag will lead you to within a meter of the airtag via the phone app. Tiles does not have this feature so you just have to play a sound and follow the sound until you find it. This keysmart is rechargeable. Tile pro will last one year with a replaceable 2032 battery and the blue tooth signal goes further than others. The tile mate battery was not meant to be replaced (disposable) but it is advertised as having 3 years of battery life. But tiles give you alot more shapes like the tile sticker, tile card, tile pro, tile mate, and this keysmart. Apple only gives you one option which is the circular airtag. Tile works with life360 if you use that to track your family and shows up on your life360 map.

  17. Nice product. Works very well for keeping my keys in order

  18. Key Fob. The product works and is not too bulky. However it does not fit all keys. Thick keys will not fit, neither will small ones depending where the key ring hole is placed.

  19. Key chain. This is my go to key chain. I can track it if it lost. I first got one as a Christmas gift about two or three years ago.

  20. It is useful. A useful tool for people who lost their keys!
