Imperfectly Perfect Zen Garden…. This Zen garden was my favorite. I looked at quite a few different gardens. I decided to go with this seller. Quality, design, natural bamboo trays and accessories, I ordered 3 different ones…I had seen Zen gardens before. Having two young cats was problematic back then.. I felt the spheres might help with physical difficulties I’m experiencing with both hands. (Great idea for physical therapy, wish they were sold as an accessory..)I was especially enamored with the round tray. No corners, full circle. Calming. Had to try it. Mindfulness, impermanence, simplicity, let go..mu.Packaged beautifully; box wrapped in plastic inside outer box, giftable. The glossy design paper surrounding the box is gorgeous. Really nice, well arranged, packed pieces.The pattern spheres were nice. Calming colors, patterns, comfortable weight. The tray was nice, I really liked the shape.The rake was really simple, different and functional. Really different from others. Quality brush.I preferred the light brown color of the sand.More on the tray: As it seems with most of the gardens I looked at, measurements of the *useable* depth of the tray weren’t provided, usually the outer height. Despite questions in the Q&A section, my observations and measurements were very different. The depth of the tray is much less than posted.I measured from the bottom of the tray to that first ridge. Barely over 5/8 inches, if that. From the bottom to the very top of the side was less than 1 inch. Maybe closer to 3/4 inch. In my photos, because of limitations with my hands and having the tell my phone camera, “Shoot”, the plastic tape measure is slightly at an angle, not flush with the side. The actual measurements are a tiny bit less than my photos show.I’m making a big deal about this because this tray is not as deep as answers provided. It ended up being a disappointing deal breaker for me. If the actual depth of the tray allowed for at least 1 inch of sand, great.Rolling the spheres, raking, etc.: No mess, no clean up, no worries. Isn’t that what this is all about?Thank you for this idea. Wish it had worked for me. Maybe a few tweaks, changes, would purchase in the future…Namaste

Bliss. I swear I never thought something so simple would bring me so much calm. Ugh and the balls it comes with, the texture of them is just perfection.
I love it!! Quality is great. I am a social worker who works in schools and my students LOVE my zen gardens!!! I stopped it up a nothing with this one this year and the quality on the wood, Sand, bills and tools are great! I know this will instantly catch my students eyes and will be a great relaxing tool to calm down!
Amazing. I absolutely love it. My students love it as well, it helps when they are bothered by things and this calms them.
SO RELAXING. I day trade in the mornings and needed something that would help keep me busy but calm while I sit in front of my computer. Love it. Got this as a gift for my son, who by the way, bought a Zen garden for me about 15 years ago. This one is so cool – love the balls and the process of rolling them in the sand (mine didn’t have these). He said he didn’t even know that he wanted one, but really loves it!! Sand is a dark brown not white; no cover. Beautiful center piece for my table and is good quality. I wish the sand was a lighter white as shown in the picture but it was more of a darker brown. I also wish there was a cover for when it’s not in use or for storing but it’s fun & peaceful. Overall worth the price.

Great Therapeutic Tool for Kids and Teens. I purchased this sandbox for my therapy sessions with teens and kids, and it has been a fantastic addition! The set comes with sand, balls, a brush, and a comb, which my clients absolutely love. They enjoy the sensory experience, especially the sounds the tools make when brushing and combing through the sand—it’s very soothing and helps them relax.One small suggestion would be to include more sand, as it tends to spill easily, especially with younger kids. Overall, this is an excellent product that adds a lot of value to my sessions, and I highly recommend it for anyone working in therapy or just looking for a calming sensory activity.
