Great for the price. Bought two of these so I could check in on my cat while I was at work, and I wanted an effective timer for when he uses the litter box because he had FLUTD in the past, so knowing when he uses the litter box is helpful. Sadly, the motion detection does not seem to be sensitive enough to pick him up (it’s only like 6-8 feet away from the litter box and it fails to detect him even on High sensitivity). Also, for some strange reason, the camera’s auto switching from day to night vision sets off the motion detection alarm which can be annoying on cloudy days as the sunlight coming in the basement windows (where the litter pans are) keeps turning the night vision mode on and off which keeps tripping the motion detection. But yet, when my cat goes down there to use the box, the camera doesn’t detect it despite it being pointed right at the box and the stairs he has to go down.Also, beware the screws they provide for the mounting bracket. They are the cheapest, softest metal screws I have ever seen. My drill INSTANTLY stripped the philips head on them when trying to screw them into a standard stud of the doorway frame between the kitchen and the living room. Thankfully I got the screw in far enough that it’ll hold for now and I can later replace them with screws that won’t strip so fast when I get extra time. They really need to ship better quality screws.
I’m shocked this was such a good buy. I have had a lot of threats and issues lately due to becoming a public figure and had to invest in some sort of security. A family member of mine had these and recommended them to me. I looked at pricier models with a 1TB drive and wired, etc but decided to give these a shot.These are phenominal quality, night mode is awesome, and they are so smart and programmable compared to what I was expecting! I highly recommend them if you are making a first time purchase into cameras for home protection or for a baby monitor, etc.Very happy, the app is simple to use as well. Definitely recommend and will be buying more in the future!Thank you!
Good camera but doesn’t work on 5G. It’s a nice camera. The picture quality was decent and the app it easy to navigate. I sent my husband the share link and he was able to connect to it and move the camera and talk thru it from 3 states away. The only issues I had with it is dor one it can only connect thru a 2.4G connection and our home wifi doesn’t support it (5G only) so I had to use my phones data to connect to it thru hotspot… I don’t have unlimited hotspot and my phone isn’t always available for that so it’s not a good option for round the clock monitoring. The other issue is the app doesn’t let you know how many devices are watching the stream so u don’t know who maybe watching in. I only knew when my husband was using it bc he moved the camera. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to return it and find one that connects to 5g. I’m waiting to hear back from my internet provider if it’s possible to add a 2.4g feature to our connection. If so I’ll probably keep it.
Exactly what I wanted. I had 2 cameras from another company and was looking to add one or two. I saw this 4 pack that was on sale and the ratings were good, so, why not give them a try. So glad I did. These are great. Very easy to set up. App works just fine with a multi view to stream all cameras. Alerts come through great, so when I’m out of town, the police a just a quick phone call away. Overall, these are much better than what I had and the price was fantastic. Good value. Very happy so far after a couple of weeks.
For The Price, It Gets The Job Done. I had someone steal packages from my front door. Immediately I went on amazon to find a security cam. This one had good reviews and a good price so I got it. Showed up the next day.It definitely works. Motion detection is great and navigating the app is easy enough after trial and error.MAKE SURE TO BUY A CLASS 3 MICRO SD CARD.I bought a class 10 125GB MircroSD but the cam only showed it as having 0.08GB even after formatting! Bought a class 3 125GB one and everything is all good.I have it on Event Recording so the SD card will last me forever before needing to be wiped.
