Nice rice. I’ve used this twice, 4 cups each time (no leaking from lid). I did notice after it was on warm for a few minutes the rice on the bottom starting to brown. The second time I unplugged it as soon as it was done and already it was slightly starting to brown. I think their cup sizes are smaller than a regular cup – the 4 cups feeds 3 people and I have 5 people to feed. Wish I’d of gotten a bigger one. Next time!
First time user at 54. We have never used one of these before tonight. We absolutely love it. We made Jasmin rice added turmeric & pepper. Was our first time so wanted to make sure it worked. I put in the water, rice as suggested in the book and seasonings. Turned it on and let it go. When it was done it went to warm automatically. It was perfect. Never in all my years of making rice has it been this easy and it wasn’t all clumped together.

Cute! Not mint color. Super cute and easy to use! Does the job great, but sadly it is white and not the lovely mint in the photo.
Does not boil over. Size matters. Some reviews mention this little cooker will boil over… I make 3 cup batches and it’s never boiled over. We are a house of two adults and I opted for the 5 cup cooker. Making the 3 cup batch gives us enough rice to have one round of leftovers the next day. This rice cooker is big enough for two but if I have guests visiting then I know it can also accommodate enough rice for everyone in one cooking session. Super easy to clean and the size does not take up a lot of space in my cabinet. Very pleased and very affordable.The cooking switch will automatically flip to warm and you will want to immediately unplug the unit from the wall to stop or the warm setting will continue to slowly cook it. That doesn’t bother me because I start my rice first and then prep/cook the dinner and by the time I’m finished with cooking, the rice is finished cooking. You could also set a timer on your phone, I’ve done that before too.

Very good rice cooker. This is my first rice cooker. I like its simplicity. It is easy to operate and easy to clean. I only use it to cook basmati rice. It does a great job. The instruction booklet is helpful, too.
Works great if you know how to use it. Personally, I love this rice cooker! I had a more fancy one, then I sadly dropped it and it broke. I was on a budget, so I got this one to replace it. If you know the right things to do, your rice will come out delicious! Just like any other rice cooker for the most part.Pros:It is big and holds a lot of rice! I cook for a lot of people quite often, so I really needed a big one. The rice for me comes out nice and fluffy. I add a little extra water, salt, and butter to my rice and it is great. Does everything it needs to do. The bowl comes out which is great to wash my rice and store any leftover rice. The price is so good considering it works as it should!Cons:The click for when it is done is very low and hard to hear. It doesn’t beep, the switch just goes up and that’s all you might hear. It is so easy to miss. That is truly the biggest down fall for this reason…. if you leave the rice on warm after the click it will start to brown on the bottom and overcook the rice. So, you have to keep an eye on it and unplug it and/or take the bowl out so it does not overcook. I check on my food often, so it is fine for me. But that can be a huge dealbreaker for many.The measurements that give you are not exact. I am truly not sure why. But I use my own measuring tools and it is a super easy fix.
Great large capacity cooker. I would have given this five stars except for the description as a 16 cup serving cooker.This rice cooker it’s versatile and can be used to make meals and desserts that are similar to using a slow cooker. The only thing to be aware of is that it doesn’t actually accommodate 8oz. cups of dry rice. The cooker comes with its own measuring cup which is really only 6 oz. You cannot use your own 8oz measuring cup or you were over fill the capacity and the rice will turn out burned at the bottom and dry.

Best Rice Cooker. Cooks rice perfectly every time! This is my 3rd one and was a gift. I like this brand. SO easy to use, fail proof, easy fast rice. Easy to clean, too. Auto shut off, keeps it warm. Come with a measuring cup and a little spoon. Good price point. Durable! Can’t go wrong with this little cooker! Nice size for 1 or 2 people. Get this!
