Seems to help with feline health. First of all: how am I supposed to rate the flavor? Cats seem to like it, but they also seem to like tasting things I wouldn’t go near.Anyhow. My wife loved cats. She did the research and picked Iam’s. We have had about a dozen cats and most have lived into their late teens. The last of my wife’s cats is now over 20, is active, seems very healthy and content.
So far so good (my picky cat would only eat Greenies). I found a suggestion for this cat food in a reddit forum about cats that are hooked on Greenies treats and weren’t interested in any real cat food. It’s only day 1 but so far she’s actually eating this kibble! Fingers crossed that she doesn’t change her crazy little mind.
🐱🐾 HAPPY. I have purchased many, many, many brands for my cat. The brands where less expensive, bottom-line “you pay for what you get” My car is happy and I will forever purchase this brand/flavor.
Vet recommended. My Zoe is a long-haired calico. One of a litter of 5 that were rescued at about 6 weeks old. I always fed her name brand cat foods, but she had a difficult time digesting many of them. Loose stools. Vomiting. The vet said she had pancreatitis, put her on an expensive prescription diet, and gave her morphine for the pain! That is when I changed vets. The new vet said just feed her IAMS. No prescription diet…no morphine. Since I switched to IAMS, Zoe has been doing fine.

Happy healthy cats. This stuff doesn’t have food coloring. It’s full of ingredients that are good for animals. The protein content is triple that of wet food in cans and has lots of added nutrients for healthy cats. I have six cats and they all have shiny coats and love when it’s food time. They love Iams.

good food, terrible bag. My two cats are big fans of Iams — based on their enthusiastic feedback, which roughly translates to “meow, mow mow mow meeow,” I’m guessing the taste is solid. They devour it like I forgot to feed them for a week (I didn’t).But here’s the gripe: the bag. There is no easy way to open it. Scissors? Nope. Utility knife? Still awkward. Precision engineering? Forget it. Every method I’ve tried either rips weird, sprays kibble like confetti, or leaves me with a jagged hole that’s impossible to pour from. I’ve resorted to dumping it into a separate container just to avoid daily rage.Food itself? Great. Cats are happy, healthy, shiny, and slightly less judgmental than usual. Just be prepared to wrestle the bag like it owes you money.
Perfect Nutrition – Even Better Than Specialized Hedgehog Food. Even though this is marketed as cat food, it has become the absolute best choice for my hedgehogs. I’ve tried several brands over the years, including foods specifically made for hedgehogs, but none have given me the same results as this one. Since switching to IAMS, they’ve stayed healthier overall, with excellent digestion and more consistent energy levels.One of the biggest differences I’ve noticed is in their digestion — their poop is perfectly formed and easy to clean up, not sticky, watery, or too hard like it was with other foods. PREMIUM QUALITY FOR GROCERY STORE PRICE. Iams always used to be considered a premium cat food, similar to Science Diet and Nutro. When the company sold, the product seemed to be the same, but instead of competing in the ever-growing line of premium pet foods sold at pet supply stores, they reduced there prices and became a top of the market grocery brand.The price is reasonable enough that I can use it to feed the feral cats I’ve TNRed. After using good to trap them to be neutered and vaccinated, they guilted me into feeding them 2x per day. Since these cats don’t and probably never will have homes, they need all the help they can get!
