Works Great. My rescue lab mix used to walk away as soon as I picked up our old brush. He started out tolerating this one and now I would go so far as saying he enjoys it. A little tough to clean, especially the soft side but that’s to be expected. Very glad I gave this a try after reading the other reviews.
Pay for quality. I have a furry dog but whenever I buy the cheap brushes for it, the side with the metal brushes comes unglued in a few weeks. So far, this one has lasted quite a bit longer- to the point where even if it broke now, I would buy another one
Nice brush for my poodle. My little baby poodle loves to be brushed with the brush end, not the wire part that I only use on her ears. I think she thinks she’s getting a massage.

Great Brush for Dogs that hate to be brushed. I am a pet sitter and this cute puppy is an Eskie. She hated to be brushed. The trainer was given advice to shave this poor puppy which the owner agreed was crazy . I said let me search and I found great reviews for this brush even though she already had a brush that looked exactly like it but it was dull boring grey .We give her positive reinforcement only ( per UC Davic Vet behaviorist advice – went through weekend seminar) and give her SIggis yogurt with a spoon while brushing her ( not all yogurt is okay for pets- so please check online – this is one of them)She has done 100% better with it.
This is a good brush. We adopted an aussiedoodle that had been shaved at the shelter. His coat is now growing back after 2 months. I ordered this brush BEFORE he came home so we could get on a daily grooming schedule right from the beginning. He loves getting brushed every day. The pin side seems to stimulate his skin and he loves it. The brush side is great for around sensitive areas like his eyes, his ears, and his chin.His coat is growing back in nicely and there are curls and waves now. This brush works very well to get through those little curlies and doesn’t pull or dig in.It’s ergo-friendly and is very easy to hold in my hand. I used a brush like this for years for our kitties & pin heads seem to come off over time or they push down into the base. No pin heads have come off yet after being used every single day for 2 months.I’m tempted to order a 2nd one to have on hand in case this one ever wears out. So far so good.I recommend it for quality and for being a good value.UPDATE 12-21-23 – a few pins have pulled out but it’s my error. I used a steel dog comb to clean hair off of it and the comb pulled 4 pins out. It’s a good brush but I don’t recommend using a heavy duty steel comb to clear the hair off. Use your hand instead if possible. The other thing I love about this brush is that the BRUSH side is not overly stiff and it’s great for brushing around eyes and muzzle. I still recommend it with 5 stars.

Decent Brush. I like that it has two different options in one. We have a medium haired mixed breed dog and it helps with shedding a little but I’m not sure it makes a huge difference.
Best cat hairbrush ever. My cat absolutely loves this brush! It’s definitely durable, pretty, the bristles are soft and have a soothing effect. It’s easy to use, and it must have some kind of massaging effect because he loves it when I brush him in a circular motion. It’s too soon to see what effect it will have on his hair and all the shedding that takes place.
Good, dependable pet brush. This is a good, dependable pet brush. I wore one out by using it constantly for over two years and also left it outdoors in the rain a few times (so it rusted). I decided to get a new one and take better care of it. This works well on my dog who has a very heavy coat with an undercoat. She loves being brushed with this.

Kind of big, but a good brush. I bought this brush for a beagle–and quite an oversized one at that–and I think the brush is a little too big for him. It’s the same size as (most) any other brush you’ll find at the local pet shop, but it bangs into the dog’s knee caps if I’m not super careful while brushing him. [It would have been nice if the hard plastic frame had rubber trim around it.] Being a short-haired breed, I also have to be very gentle when using the metal bristle side of the brush so as not to poke him and irritate him.However, the brush itself is high quality. I didn’t realize how much a beagle sheds, but they do pretty badly (or at least this one does), and the nylon bristle side of the brush catches a lot of loose hair that would otherwise end up on the carpet, clothing, etc. The metal side is good for (or at least helps with) detangling hair when he gets into something he shouldn’t (or is petted by children with sticky hands). Past experience has taught me that eventually the metal bristles will separate from the brush, but that won’t be for a while yet. Overall, I’m happy with the brush.

Works well. Good quality for the price, and works well on our dogs medium length hair. Comfortable to hold and use. Would buy again.
Not great for de shedding but perfect for daily brushing. I have a border collie mix and it doesn’t tangle on either side. He enjoys the brushing and works well on medium length hair.
What a great brush. This brush is perfect, especially for matted fur on Poodle breeds. The metal bristles are soft but so effective on untangling and fluffing up head and jaw fur and the reverse side is great for brushing the back and belly. My pup loved it and couldn’t get enough. Highly recommended.
