Easy to Use, but DAMN it’s hot on the outside. I’ve only used it once since receiving it, but from using it the one time it seems really good. The only thing so far that I have an issue with is that it is extremely hot on the outside. So make sure when you cook with it keep it away from anything that could possibly melt.
Great Quality. I love Hamilton Beach products but they are usually so pricey in retail stores so I think this was a steal especially for how big it is. I put 4 lbs of chicken in and it was barely halfway through, I also put my fist in the photo as a size reference. Definitely bigger than I expect for the price but worked out great for meal prepping. I also bought the liner for it so it won’t be so hard to wash.
Great results every time. Cooks at proper temperatures, fantastic results. Cleaning needs soaking, food sticks, but seems normal because of cooking time. I haven’t used lock feature, but love I can check temp thru hole with probe without lifting lid.
Just what we needed. Cooked faster than my old crockpot. Did a great job, just wish it was a tiny lit lighter
7 Quart Slow Cooker. This is a nice large slow cooker. I needed one and this is the one I purchased. We hope to make a lot of good recipes.
Great Slow Cooker. This replaced a slow cooker that was over 20 years old. Works like a champ! The only “negative” (if it even is one) is that mine cooks pretty hot on the High setting. Much hotter than my old one. So, anything cooked on High, I’d start checking an hour earlier than normal. All in all, I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.
Only worked one time. Worst product I ever bought. I’ll start on a positive note. Our old Hamilton Beach slow cooker has been going strong for over 20 years. The only reason I bought a new one was to get one that was larger and programmable. Well, the new one came in and only worked one time. The second time I used it, I put chicken and other ingredients in it, set it, and left for the day. When I came back, the chicken was raw and I had to throw everything out. The brand new Hamilton Beach slow cooker quit working after one use.Thankfully, Amazon customer service is amazing and they rushed me another one out immediately and credited my account for $10 to make up for some of the cost of the food I had to throw out. I assumed that Hamilton Beach was a quality product and I just got a dud. Imagine my complete and utter disappointment that the brand new slow cooker they rushed out to me worked for about three hours, then quit. The lights were still on, but it had stopped heating. I switched to another outlet, thinking maybe it was a problem with the outlet, even though I knew it was getting electricity–the lights were on. It did not work in the other outlet. I plugged my old slow cooker in and it works great, so I know that it is 100% this piece of crap brand new Hamilton Beach slow cooker.I cannot express how disgusted I am that between two brand new Hamilton Beach slow cookers they only worked long enough to make one meal. I will never buy another Hamilton Beach product and suggest you do the same. Final rating, NEGATIVE ONE STAR.To end on a positive note, I would like to reiterate that Amazon customer service was amazing to work with both times. They are taking care of me, no questions asked.
Exactly what I needed. My other crock pot I had for years developed a crack in the ceramic and it was my favorite but sadly it was time to replace. I love this new crick pot for all the features, especially the lid lock, which saved me having to buy a separate carrier and it’s so easy to put in place before transporting in my car.I love the timer features as well to help me track when it’s time to go to he next step for certain recipes I’m making. Only down side is I prefer a deep round pot like my last one but this one is very solid in quality and maintaining even temp while cooking.
Only lasted 6 month. Stopped working after 6 months. Update, Hamilton-Beach replaced my crockpot. Now, I have a newer model. 5 stars!
Great crock pot. This is a good size crock pot. It is large enough for a pot roast. I like the digital hours setting. The pot actually counts down as it cooks. I thought it was a great price for the money. The lid lock is just a rubberized band. Our meal turned out delicious.
