Really good for bi-racial hair. These pics are of my 18 and 8yr old girls. First, I’m very impressed on how easy and manageable it made their hair. Granted, both girls hair texture is extremely different. My baby has more of her dads hair and my other one has more my hair, which is black. My husband is white.I braid and style their hair on a regular basis. This made it so much easier and faster to do my little ones hair. It took me roughly 30 minutes or less to complete her whole head.It took my 18yr old about a hour. She loves it!!Cons: the glove is great except it pulls the hair. It picks up the hair as soon as you try to put it down. Gets aggravating when your hair is long.The button placement sucks. I believe I cut it off and on as much time it took to comb through the hair. Also, it cut itself off too or maybe it was idling 🤷🏼♀️I just know the buttons were blinking and then stop.It didn’t get super straight and was really puffy in places…even after going back through it again and again. These are why I can’t give it 5 stars.Overall, I’m happy or satisfied with the purchase. Would recommend.
Didn’t work for me. I was sooo excited to get this Tymo straightener. It came in this nicely packaged box with some goodies but it just didn’t work for me. I always have to set my straighteners to the highest setting 400degree+ and this one goes up to 410. Well, it did nothing. My hair has been relaxed but in need of a touch up..nope. This Tymo told me “not TODAY” so unfortunately, I have to return it! I still have it 3 stars because the heat that comes from the straightener is nuts! I mean, it smokes but the directions say it may do that the 1st time which is fine. Growing up, my hair was straightened with a hot comb, straight off the stove. Glad it’s working for others though :-)Update 7/17/23. Changed my 3 stars to 4. Seller contacted me immediately after I started the return. So…great communication.
Innovative product. Overall, I think that it is great for being an innovative hair straightener brush! Personally, I don’t find it practical… for so long I’ve used the typical hair straightener and so I am having a hard time adapting, especially because it does get really hot and have to use the glove. Then, I have curly hair in the front and it has been a bit challenging to just focus on that part when that is the only area I want to straighten. I must say I am struggling to get use to it and I’ve considered passing it on and just go back to the usual…
Great results. My sister recommended this to me after she bought one at Target and loved it. My hair is currently shoulder length, medium thickness and is generally straight, highlighted and colored.I shower and wash my hair at night before I go to bed, so it’s usually pretty weird looking in the morning from sleeping on it wet. This straightener heats up super fast and is pretty easy to use. I section it off (top/bottom) to make it a little easier. Overall I love how well it straightens my hair, usually with one or two passes, depending on how big a section I have. I’m able to get right against my scalp so I don’t end up with the weird crimps I would get from my regular flat iron and it easily straightens the weird bumps that form at the crown of my head from sleeping on it.The only real con I’ve found so far is that there’s no digital temperature reading. Temperature is indicated with a series of LED lights so you have to kind of guess at what the temperature setting may be.Overall I’m really happy with this and I don’t think I’ll go back to using a traditional straightener.
Love it! Easy to use and yes, it works. So I read a lot of reviews about people not knowing what the temperature is that corresponds with the little dots on the TYMO. Folks, READING IS FUNDAMENTAL! Read the instructions that came with the TYMO. The instructions tell you what the corresponding temps are to the little dots. Now for my review….WOW! I have thick hair and with a little heat protector spray, this device straightened my hair really fast and without having to go back through it 4 or 5 times like when using a flat iron. The glove is a life saver. It helps when you want to keep your hair in the ‘brush’ part (keeps you from burning your hand). I put up my flat and curling iron. I have curly wavy hair but was using a large barrel curling iron to ‘straighten’ it out a bit. I was skeptical but this is an awesome tool for anyone who wants straight hair.
Umm soo good. What?? This is so cheap and works so much better than any straightener I’ve owned. Here’s the big caveat… you have very little control over the ends of your hair.I’ve owned Solia, Chi, am currently using the white T3… my hair has never been easier to straighten or as straight on the top of my head. You don’t get the wavy crimp lines from a flat straightener because this thing basically combs into your hair and straightens from the root out an inch so there is no way to have a crimp line. I am blown away by how shiny my hair looks. And it was crazy easy. Took no effort. In fact, you almost have to use bigger sections with this tool than with a flat iron straightener.Okay so here’s the snag, and you can tell just by watching any video of someone using it. You need to hold pressure on your hair to hold it inside of the tool, so when you get to the ends and have to let go, there is no way to really control the ends. I was able to hold my hair until the last little bit slipped from my fingers and I managed to curl the ends under. The finished look is great. But if I wanted it to be stick straight all the way to the end, not curled under at all, that would be a little harder.Does this replace a flat iron? No. I often straighten just the ends of my hair after curling it, and I could not do that with this tool. However, this thing is waay faster and easier and makes my hair shinier and smoother than a flat iron.The heat up time is slow. At first just the top blue light was blinking and I thought that meant it was warming up. Nope. You need to hit the power button (again?). The blinking blue light apparently just shows you it’s plugged in. Once you hit the power button, the white lights will indicate the power/heat level and the top blinking white light will become solid once it’s done heating. It took maybe 30 sec – 1 min longer than my usual flat iron heat up time.Safety/fire prevention… so this thing would be harder to burn yourself on for sure. Also, the actual hot plates don’t touch your counter or anything other than your hair because the guards block them. The back of the tool is flat. It DOES get HOT, but touchably hot. It might melt plastic carpeting. But I have no concerns with setting the flat backside directly on my counter, which means I no longer have to balance a straighener on its case or a hot pad.I am just in shock… I didn’t expect this cheap thing to work so well. I literally just bought a dyson airwrap after years of wanting one and am not nearly as blown away with it.This would be a great gift for anyone into beauty or hair because it’s not a common device to own and works amazing and is relatively inexpensive.So glad I tried it.

Smooths and straightens, struggles on ends. I love how quickly this heats up. It does a good job and straightening and smoothing however you have to hold the hair taut so it actually goes into the brush and I have not been able to get my ends straight, they either curve in or out. It’s also great for curtain bangs, straighten then twist the brush towards the ends and it gets them to flip back!
Game Changer. I was so happy this product actually worked. Easy to use , power on, takes a few minutes, several levels of heat and just use. It straightens your hair so well, so fast and so easy. Love the heat glove provided, so you won’t burn your hand while straighting your hair. It’s often so hard to find a a good hair stylist and it’s so pricey, so now I I can do it myself. I have had for 6 months, and I am so satisfied with the quality, smoothness of use and definitely the results. Would definitely recommend.
Nice product. Took a little getting used to like any new product but I do love the way it leaves my hair, straight and very soft. I still have a lot of body in my hair even with straightened and it ends up perfect. Gets very hot. I can’t go over the 2nd setting (out of 5)

Love this. This straightened my generally time consuming hair in less than 10 minutes. I was blown away by this. It normally takes about 45 minutes to do this. The only reason it doesn’t have 5 stars is because I struggled to get my ends curled in. It still does a fantastic job and my hair is smooth and shiny.
Tymo Straightening Comb. I’ve been seeing this product along with videos on tik tok. I decided to buy it from Amazon last night. I have thick, curly, 4C hair. I’m half Puerto Rican & half Black. The ironComb gets hot & I didn’t have to worry about burning myself. It comes with a hair glove which I used because my hair is black and holds a lot of heat.I was surprised how straight this got my hair. I did go over my hair lightly with a flat iron at low heat and it’s perfect. Purchase the Tymo heat protectant mist, it’s light, adds shine, doesn’t leave oily residue, and it smells delicious.Comes with a black storage bag, and heat glove. Works better than the heated Dry Bar brush !! I’m going to by one for my daughter.
Works great. My 11 yo has thick wavy long hair and this was easy and quick to use on her. Hair came out straight and smooth. Did all her hair in about 2 min!!
I LOVE. This is such an amazing product! Does not disappoint. I have had it for about 8 months now. It is nice because heats up so fast and once it’s hot you can touch it and it won’t burn. Cools down fast too. I have short bob and it works for it. It has different settings for heat and I love that! Hair is super straight and soft after! I keep it in the case it came in! Comes with a heat glove, small brush, and 2 clips! I love this so much! Great for any hair type
