Cute and loved. This has been with my puppy since she was 8weeks old. She loves it. It started out as her security blanket and has turned into her favorite toy.It’s not 100% chew proof, but honestly nothing is. She’s put a few very small holes, but she’s now almost 5 months old. The girl is going through teething and it’s still in one piece!!My favorite part of this is that it doesn’t have stuffing where it counts the most. The body. This gives me peace of mind, if she decides to tear it apart one day (which I doubt), she’s not going to choke on the fluff. We did buy her the smaller toys like the piggy and the lamb, they were obviously too small for her because she’s a medium size dog and she was able to remove some pieces. So we took them away once we noticed, because she got bigger.Size is important, if you want the toy to last your dog a while.However, we got our foster 5 week puppy a tiny lamb and a tiny flying pig because she has no way of destroying them 😂.Hope this helps, these toys are amazing!
Great Toys No toy is indutructible, but these do last quite a while. We are fosters who work with several rescues (three of our dogs were our fosters at one time). We have fostered 40 dogs since 2017. Let me start by saying we have 4 dogs of our own, an American Staffordshire Terrier/ Boxer mix, A Pitbull /everything mix, a Dalmatian / Boxer mix and a (mostly) German Shephard / Pit Bull mix. We also had a lab / Everything mix and currently have a Pitbull / Bull Dog mix as fosters since we started using these Godog Chew Guard toys. Two of them are quite possessive of their woobies, all are aggressive chewers, tuggers etc. We have bought about 6 of these Godog Chew guard toys in the last 6 months and they have all lasted quite a while. The longest so far is approaching 6 months. All are still in pretty good shape. No large holes or stuffing pulled out and most have gone on a couple trips through the washing machine (and the crinkle paper still crinkles afterwards). All are still actively played with all the time and are still holding up quite well.Folks, when buying ANY dog toy, there is NO SUCH THING as an indestructible dog toy. Dogs Chew and maul their toys. If your dog is a chewer, throw them a bone, antler, rawhide something so they aren’t taking that frustration or nervous energy out on destroying their toys. We have recently found giving our dogs some antler to chew on seems to deter them from chewing on the soft toys nearly as much.
This has held up better than most toys for my power chewer/tugger. We have a 1-year-old cattle dog who LOVES to chew and LOVES to play tug. She is 60 pounds of pure muscle, and can chew through a supposedly tough toy in minutes.So first and foremost, we do NOT leave toys out for her to play with unsupervised, because she would destroy them in short order, no matter how “chew-proof” they purport to be.We use this lovely dragon for games of tug, and it is very durable for that use. The long body gives you some room to get a good grip while keeping your hands at a safe distance (really important when your dog gets as excited about tug-o-wars as ours does). And it can withstand long sessions of really powerful tugging and pulling with ease.Now as far as chewing goes, it is above average. Occasionally our pup gets a chance to sit down for a chew (usually when we get distracted after a game of tug and forget to put it away), and she always goes for the frills along the back, and the wings. She can chew a small hole in the toy within 5 minutes or so, but with most toys like this, she’d have the wings off entirely within the same period of time. So I give it a fairly good rating for its strength, but know that if you have a power chewer like ours, it’s still not a toy that you can just leave around for unsupervised chewing.We are on our third dragon in a year, which is a pretty good record. It is among the best toys we’ve found for playing tug.
Like them… But found a broken needle inside. I think these toys are great… Cute but within 5 mins my dog had it torn up stuffing out, squeaker gone… Tho I bought this back in Feb we still keep the outsides to play tug… And tonight my dog came over with this in his mouth I went to grab it and felt something poking at my hand. I saw something shiney… I looked closely and it was the tip of a broken off sewing needle… Thank God I found it before my dogs mouth did… Im sure it wasn’t meant to be there… But damn that’s scary…
Great for medium chewer. We love these toys by goDog. My dog is a medium to heavy chewer – the cutesy toys at TJ Maxx last less than 5 minutes before their innards are everywhere. I don’t know what it is about this brand but he a) loves them and b) makes them last a solid 2 months before he decides to fully dismember them. A win in my book! The squeak is pretty loud and doesn’t puncture easily despite heavy chewing so that’s the only downside!
Good for a super chewer. I got this for my super chewer and it lasted several weeks, is a marked improvement over her other toys as well as my arm. Just ordered two more and probably sticking with these. Not a lot of fuzz to eat, and if your dog destroys it it is easy enough to clean up. Could last longer but short of a brick I don’t think anything will withstand her jaws.
UPDATED…Chew gaurd technology… no way. So after this having this for 4 months I’m updating my review.These GoDog toys are pretty tough. She got those 2 small holes in it and I liked the stuffing out but nothing else. She gives them hell and they hold up. She has 4 of these (different animals but same brand) and they all are some seriously tough toys. My dog got through this in under a half hour. It is a TINY bit more durable but not like what the reviews and description said lol. The picture is about 10 minutes after I gave it to her. I will give it credit that it took her this long to make this hole though.
Long lasting. The squeaker broke before the fabric was torn, which was still a few months after I got it. I got a dragon in each color for each of my three girls, the pink one is a favorite for my biggest dog and she will play tug, fetch or just run around squeaking it.It’s got a noisy squeaker to get their attention, super easy to throw or grasp for tug of war. It’s a good size for her too, she’s a 55 lb pit mix who tears through most other toys within an hour or so, so these are great quarterly investments.
My 90 lb. Pitbull’s All-Time Fave Toy. I ordered a plethora of new toys for Bruce to keep him occupied while I am working remotely from home. Poor guy gets so bored while I’m stuck in front of my computer 8+ hours a day. All the other toys are animated, but this one is just a big floppy chewy squeaky toy. Bruce quickly lost interest in all the other chirping, hopping, and twirling toys and fell in love with “Diny”. When I opened Diny and gave it to Bruce, he had the elated and surprised look of a 3 yr old at Christmas. And he stayed that happy for hours, and then each time he picked up Diny to play. Diny became his go-to toy over all others (and there are many!). It is well made out of durable fabric, and they did not stuff it full of kapoc (I hate kapoc in dogs toys!). And it is delightfully low-tech. Normally he tears a squeaky toy apart as soon as he can isolate the squeaky mechanism. But cleverly, the squeaky box is loose in the long belly so it moves from one end to the other as the toy is handled. That made it difficult for Bruce to locate it. The toy remained in good condition for 2 weeks of near constant attention by Bruce. But yesterday he zeroed in on the squeaky box and ripped Diny to shreds. I was sad to see Diny go so soon. But boy-howdy was Bruce happy with it. I’m gonna buy another because we liked it so much. And so did I : )
Pretty durable! My dogs love this toy. After about a month of my 40 lb GSD mix and my 60 lb pit mix playing with this dragon toy, I still haven’t had to throw it away yet which is a win in my book! They love it! I do put it up when they’re not playing with it, though, to help it last and so that they don’t eat any of the torn blue wing. They’ve shredded one of the wings pretty good, so I always have to watch them while they play with it because they do pull pieces of fabric off. There’s one small hole in the other pink fabric but I think that’s all. Other than the wing, though, it has held up very well considering how much they’ve used it and chewed on it.They also loved the GoDog purple dinosaur toy I got them before this, but the seam on the neck ripped VERY quickly and then lots of fluff came out – I assume because the dinosaur’s neck was so long so it was less sturdy. I prefer the less fluffy dragon toy in case of tears and it’s been more durable.

Great for teething puppies. This is a great teething toy for puppies. It’s still soft enough for the puppy to enjoy and tough enough for them to teethe on. This is my 3 month old pups favorite!

Not indestructible, but still worth purchasing. If you have an aggressive chewer, there are few toys that can survive unless they are made of such hard rubber you don’t even consider them a toy. This dragon made by goDog is a fun and cute toy for our lab. Unfortunately, it only takes one sitting for her to gut it and pull off the wings, but she still loves to drag the carcass around so it is not a total waste. We have bought several of them, and would purchase again because she loves them so much. Just know in advance that if you have a canine destroyer of toys, it’s not going to last very long!

Destructable. This is guaranteed that your dog cannot rip it apart or cut. It won’t come apart. I’ve had this since August and I just found that my dog has chewed the ears off and starting to chew the other part of the dog like I ordered this more expensive dog toy, knowing that it was indestructible, it is not very disappointedI contacted customer service for a replacement as they advertised. They will only refund within 30 days.Don’t buy this brand toys if your dog is able to chew it apart it seems like the material can be dangerously.
Cute toy. Original product came damaged, however seller issued a new product with no hassle 🙂 it is adorable dog stuffy that’s a good size for a medium/large breed to play with. It is fairly durable, my dog shreds every toy but he wasn’t able to immediately rip into it and that’s a win for me
Love at First Bite. Dogs ***LOVE*** this thing. It gets carried around, used as a tug-of-war toy, squeaked frequently, and slobbered on continuously. I already gave them a green one so knew it would be appreciated, and didn’t want the dogs to go without if it got torn. Absolutely no signs of tears, holes, or other damage to either dragon, despite hard play, and both squeak like new. They wash easily and look great. My dogs approve enthusiastically. I’d but more but see no need. Maybe I will give them as gifts to dog friends.
Holds up to tough puppy chewing and the wash. We have a very large puppy who is teething like crazy. He has chewed through a couple other stuffed toys, but not this one! He has another goDog toy and it has held up as well. These will be the only stuffed toys that we buy for him. He even got blood all over the dragon from his teething. We threw it in the wash and then into the dryer and it came out perfect. Best stuffed dog toys!
