Good purchase, easy to use. I have purchased these combs for my multi cat home and because one of my cats can not tolerate any flea drops or pills, but of course he is an inside/outside at and picks up fleas each time he goes out.All of my cats are rescues from the neighborhood and they are not very tame and most I cannot pick up for a long time. But these combs apparently feel good on their skin and once I start combing they roll around and let me do my thing.I use a bowl with hot water and dish detergent to drown any fleas, and it works fine. But the comb with the long teeth does not work well for me, not even on the long- hair cat, because the surface is too large and the flea escapes before I can drown it.So overall, it’s a good purchase and works well, but you really only need the one smaller comb. Once you combed your cat, it also takes excess hair and makes it easier for the cat.Good purchase, but you really only need one comb.
These are great! Use them with a tub of warm dawn dish soap water to kill the fleas you catch. I originally bought this for one cat that was having a ton of health issues that I thought was related to fleas, but it turned out that was not the real issue. Instead, we ended up with a much younger kitten, and when I could see some on him, I pulled these out not really expecting much from these combs. Wow do they work. So I use the comb with the longest teeth just because it works the best for me to get into all the fur, I can see where the combs with the shorter teeth might work better for curved or hard edged areas of the cat, but the long teeth were what worked best in our situation. What happens is when you comb through the fur, the metal teeth on the comb are so close together that fleas and even the tiny black specks that are EGGS get caught between the teeth. If you don’t have good eyesight, you might need some kind of bright light on the matter. I liked to see what I was picking up, so I also needed a white sheet of paper to hold up behind the comb so that the comb has a white “background” and for some reason this allowed me to see what was between the comb’s teeth. What gross big fleas were on such a tiny kitten!! I couldn’t believe it. The best way to clear the comb is to have a small tub of warm water with dawn dish soap in it, which will act as an insecticide and kill them on contact. Once I catch a flea in the comb, I dip the comb into the soap water and use either a toothpick or my finger nail to get loosen it from the comb. Off it falls into the soap water and after a time, I was looking as around 10 or 12 big buggers floating in there. I also kept a towel nearby so that I could dry the comb the best I could between clearings. I think this kit is worth it for just the one comb, but if I need to use the others then I can come back and adjust my review to add that information. Last note: it comes with 2 plastic combs, I really don’t know if I think these combs would do anything as far as grabbing the fleas like the metal combs did. But with the other options in the kit, it didn’t really matter to me.

Great Value For The Price. These combs seem to be of decent quality and I have no doubt the flea combs would work well to catch fleas, but that’s not why I bought them. I have a dog with a crazy thick double coat that would likely tear up any flea comb I tried to use in the traditional way. I actually got these for the finer fur on the back of her ears because the fur gets tiny tangles on the tips at times and those tangles more often than not slip right between the bristles and teeth of her other grooming tools. The comb with the handle did an amazing job combing the fur on her ears and easily got out a tiny tangle on her right ear. I would definitely recommend these combs for their intended purpose and for how I plan to use them.
Really works. I was not expecting much from the idea of manually removing fleas with a comb, but our dog is in between chemical treatments and the flea infestation this year is horrible, so we decided we had to at least to try to make her more comfortable. A few sessions of combing her, which she seemed to find soothing, and a bath with herbal flea shampoo(Vet’s Choice) removed literally hundreds of fleas and flea eggs and debris. It’s probably never going to remove every single flea unless you spend all day combing, or your problem is very light, but the reduction in just a few short sessions was remarkable, and our dog is much more comfortable, with less scratching and frustration. Very happy with the product, but it does take patience and time.
The best brush for kitties. I didn’t buy this for fleas, I originally bought this multi pack of combs for the smallest one – my 3rd old cat gets pimples on his chin and I needed a small comb to brush out the fine furs there to keep the area clean. The comb got all the crusties out in one swipe!!! I was floored. He loves to be groomed so he’s enjoying all of the brushes and extra attention.I then started using the biggest brush on my 7 year old cat. He really does not like to be brushed or groomed, so I always approach him very slowly and with treats. But overtime as I’ve used this new brush, he’s tolerated grooming, and actually, I even think he likes it a little bit!All in all, these brushes are fantastic. They are cheap and cheerful. Really big bang for your buck. I could not recommend these any higher!

Good purchase. Love all the different ones to choose from! They’re good quality and I like the different sizes. It seems to work well and get the job done. Can be kindof difficult to clean though- haven’t figured out the best way to do that yet. Doesn’t seem to get too tangled in fur, I have a long haired dog and short hair dog and it seems to comb nicely through both of their hair.

Caught the fleas. This is an affordable flea comb kit gives you every comb you need to effectively get rid of the fleas. Just keep a bowl of soapy water around when you comb them to quickly remove and kill the fleas. I was able to catch a lot with these combs
