Most effective, most foam of any cleaner. I used these in the past and loved them, but then I lived in a house without a garbage disposal for a time. When I moved, and had one again, I couldn’t remember the name of this product. After using several other brands that were HIGHLY inferior, I bought this. As soon as I opened the bag and saw the familiar yellow satchel, I knew it was the one and only. No other product cleans like these do. Thick, heavy foam that come all the way up into the sink and cleans the ENTIRE disposal, including the underside of the rubber splash guard. Works great.
Kills fruit flies/gnats. I tried EVERYTHING (every online tip and every product I could find) to get rid of my gnat/fruit fly problem. I also cleaned my garbage disposal with the online tips that I found. Ice, vinegar and baking soda, good old dish soap and a scrub brush… it didn’t help. It was an endless battled that went on for nearly a year. It was so bad that I couldn’t figure out where the fruit flies were actually coming from because I would find them randomly in every room. I ended up using 6 gallons of Green Gobbler in every drain in my house throughout a months time, and saw very little results. Just as I was ready to give up and call an exterminator I saw a review for Glisten Garbage Disposer Cleaner that said it killed fruit flies. It was only a few dollars (compared to the hundreds I had already spent) so I tried it. The cleaner works differently than the home remedies because it goes into the garbage disposal side, goes through the pipe that connects the disposal to the other sink, and comes up through the other sink’s drain. Bam! Apparently that’s where the nest was, in the connecting pipe between the garage disposal and the other sink. Green Gobbler and home remedies cannot reach that pipe and did not kill my fruit fly problem. I used the Glisten Garbage Disposer Cleaner, rinsed the sinks and put the plugs in both sides. The next day I used it again. BINGO! No more fruit flies. The remedy was only a few bucks. If you’re at your wits end like I was I hope this helps.
Works Okay. I like this product and it has a decent smell, but the smell doesn’t last very long. At first I used a little too much water and it didn’t foam at all. You have to use a very small amount of water in the sink in order for it to actually foam up. I wish there were more than four packs in one package because you go through it pretty quickly. Otherwise, I would buy this again.
Just fantastic. I’ve used two out of the four cleaning solutions so far, they’re great and work for a very long time. Yesterday both sides of my kitchen sink were draining water very slowly, but thankfully weren’t fully clogged. Out of curiosity I decided to try one of these cleaning solutions, because I remembered that a lot of foam escaped from both sides of my sink when I first tried one. It actually totally solved the problem, now both sinks are draining perfectly and I got to enjoy the pleasant blue smell of the foam for a while, to boot. These really do work and they work very well.
Best stuff ever. I was so delighted to find this product. I just couldn’t no matter what I did, couldn’t get the odor out of my disposal. This stuff works fast and really cleans out your disposal super well and it smells really nice too. You can’t go wrong and it doesn’t cost a great deal either. I just love it and I’m glad I found it.
