Cleans makeup with no residue. I ordered this to remove waterproof mascara. It is fantastic! It does exactly what it is supposed to do but doesn’t leave a residue type film on my skin, when I wipe my face with a cotton pad. Anyone who used Sea Breeze back in the day may understand what I’m referring to regarding the residual layer that it seemed to leave. I didn’t like that feeling and for that reason I have not used astringent products since. I took a chance with the micellar water, after reading many great reviews, simply to remove eye makeup, but I’m glad I did and will continue to use it now. Btw, from what I read during my scan of reviews, I learned that the blue top is the one to get for waterproof eye makeup…it’s true, it works!
This stuff’s amazing. This product removes makeup easily & gently. In the process I discovered it also removes other stubborn substances without damaging the surface. I got outdoor wood stain off my hands & counter. It removed paint drips on the side of hubby’s work truck. It removed marker from the vinyl car interior. Very cool. Not smelly or toxic like Goo Gone, alcohol, or acetone. Didn’t work on most adhesive label residue on jars or from stickers. Do a discrete test patch to be sure it is ok on your surfaces before using.
Works. I use this for removing waterproof eye makeup. It does work really well. I noticed some reviews said it didn’t, which makes me wonder if they mixed it up before using it and/or didn’t use enough. It does separate in the bottle, so it needs to be shaken first to mix it up. I then skirt some on a wash rag and rub it on my eyes. All my makeup (which is all waterproof) does come off. It does have an oily consistency, so I don’t wash my whole face with it. I also have somewhat sensitive eyes, and if a little gets in them it burns slightly. That’s the only thing I don’t like about it.
BEST Eye Makeup Remover. I use Cover Girl’s eyeshadow primer and boy does it work well, because all eye makeup removers I’ve previously tried have been pretty useless. My daughter recommended Garnier and I’m so glad she did. I don’t wear waterproof mascara, but I ordered the waterproof version of this thinking it would give the aforementioned primer a run for its money – and it did! A gentle swipe on the lids is all that’s needed, and there’s no greasy residue.
best makeup remover. I use it everyday! My favorite brand for makeup remover!! I barely have to put any on a pad and doesn’t hurt when i occasionally get some in my eye. amazing product 🙂
Works great for waterproof makeup. Purchased this for the first time and it’s working great. Was previously using an oily one from Macys and it would cloud my contacts if I used it just before putting my contacts in. This one does not. It does not feel oily after cleaning the makeup off my eyes at all. I wear thick black waterproof makeup. Only comes off when sleeping, in a pool, or when crying. This remover does a great job with taking it off. I have acne prone skin and I have not noticed any acne breakouts from it either.
Great facial cleanser. This makes my skin feel soft and supple. Does a great job removing even stubborn waterproof mascara and cleaning the rest of my face. I have very sensitive skin on my face and have to be careful with what I use. I’ve been using this for many months now, and it is very gentle on my skin and does not give me any problems.
Magic water in a bottle. This is the only product I use to remove my eye makeup. It lasts a long time and it’s worth the price. I’ve been using Garnier Micellar Water for years, swear by it!
just ok. I’m not impressed with this product. It doesn’t remove all the mascara and alot still remains on my eyes. I have to wash with more water and wipe with another cloth. I have better results with baby oil and a cottonball.
Eye Makeup Remover. I decided to try this based on other reviews and am glad I did. It gets my waterproof eyeliner off along with the mascara. Takes a couple extra wipes versus the other brand I was using but at half the price for twice as much. I like it and will buy another when needed.
A Very Good Product. Garnier’s SkinActive Michelle’s water is a great product! I use it to wipe away waterproof mascara, and one swipe will take all of the makeup off. My only con is that the oil and water base separate, leaving all the oil to rise to the top.
Love this stuff. I use this as my facial cleaner in the morning and I love it. It also removes makeup also, so sometimes I’ll use it before bed if I don’t feel like doing a full facial wash. I love it because it’s so lightweight, doesn’t tingle or burn (literally feels like water), doesn’t dehydrate my skin and doesn’t leave a film. I’ve bought this several times now because it’s a must need in my skin care routine!
Gentle on my skin. This is one product I order over and over again. It’s gentle on my skin. Especially gentle around my eyes. It melts away my waterproof mascara.
LIFECHANGING – never buying make up wipes again. I have always used make up wipes to take off make up since I use waterproof mascara. I could never find anything else that works. Make up wipes are about half a dollar per unit which is a lot. This product is amazing. It takes off all of my make up with ease and is well worth the money. The bottle last over 3 months and I use it everyday. Will never buy a different make up remover!

Works Almost As Well As Clinique. I tried the Original Garnier Micellar Water years ago and it did a HORRIBLE job at removing makeup and left this weird film on my skin. Since then I didn’t realize they came out with all these different varieties. I was out of town and forgot my Clinique eye makeup remover and needed something fast. Clinique is the only brand I use to remove eye makeup because it’s effective and doesn’t burn my eyes. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available where I was but this was. I gave it a shot since it claimed to remove waterproof makeup and boy did it work! This one, unlike the original doesn’t make my skin feel weird after either. No allergic reactions or anything. I used to use them with cotton rounds but I was going though a bunch of them just to remove a whole face worth of makeup. I’ve since been using them with the Clean Towels that come in the box and it’s the perfect combo. Just one of those can remove ALL my makeup and you don’t need to super soak it with this solution either, just get it slightly moist enough and it cleans off even that stubborn waterproof eye makeup. Highly recommend!
gets the job done with ease, feels a little oily. takes off everything, even my most stubborn waterproof lipstick. i used to use this same brand but with the pink cap and it was my favorite! felt so refreshing and clean but it was really difficult to take off waterproof makeup. i decided to venture out to get this one and in just a few swipes, it took off my lipstick. it used to take me a few minutes of soaking and harsh scrubbing take this lip off. but it was so easy with this.my only complaint is that it does feel kind of oily and leaves a trail of makeup remover which starts to make other parts of your makeup fade. i don’t have much experience with waterproof makeup remover so i don’t know how it’s supposed to feel. but it’s kind of difficult to do minor touch ups with this as it will remove makeup from nearby areas.overall, great deal, very useful, and definitely gets the job done!

Best Makeup Remover Hands Down. This is always my daily go-to makeup remover. It’s gentle on my sensitive skin, never burns my eyes, and it works really well without having to scrub off my makeup. I also like that a little goes a long way!I’ve tried other brands (especially a few I’ve found at TJ Maxx), but I’ve always come back to this one because others either seem to not work as well or they burn my eyes.

My Daily Beauty Must Have. This makeup remover is part of my daily routine morning and night. It cleanses and refreshes my face in the morning and removes my makeup and primers with ease in the night without being harsh on my skin. Even great to freshen up after being outside, working out/sweating, etc. No strong fragrance. Super smooth on face and mildly moisturizing. Lasts me a couple months and I use at minimum twice a day.Highly recommend.
Amazing on waterproof mascara. I’ve been using disposable makeup cloths to remove my makeup for years. They do a poor job removing waterproof mascara, and they irritate and dry out my skin. I wish I had known about this product years ago! It is true – all you have to do is pour it on a makeup pad, hold it on your eye for a few seconds, and waterproof mascara comes right off! This will save my skin from tons of irritation from rubbing it over and over again to remove mascara. I’m only giving it 4 stars, because I felt like some of the product remained in my eyes after using it (like a film), and I had to do a final wash with a gentle soap to get it out of my eyes. Even so, I will continue to use this – it does a fantastic job on waterproof mascara!
Aftermath. I’ve always heard of this product in the past & even saw people use it but wasn’t really convinced on using it. Until one day I decided to give it a try & let me tell you! IT WORKS & really gets into your pores & skin to help get all of the gunk & make up off of your skin! It helps keep my skin clean & from breaking out unlike other make up removers I’ve used in the past. It’s moisturizing to the face as well after use.
