Surprised. When this chew toy arrived, I thought it was a dud. It is a brick! But my teething GSP really likes it, it has held up and is very sturdy. I considered sending it back just because of how firm and heavy it is but this teething pup really gnaws on it and so – it is a keeper!
PERFECT. I LIVE AND DIE BY THIS TOY.I have spent $60 on a kong toy for my dog on many occasions and he’s had it in pieces within 5 minutes.This toy lasts him roughly 1-2 months and he absolutely love love loves it, and it costs so much less than the kong toys.There’s no squeak which is fine with me because my dog just rips them out anyways.It’s roughly the same size as a snickers bar, likely a bit longer and certainly wider. It’s partially rubber, which my dog goes for first and then a more plastic like product on the ends. It’s green & honestly really cute.My dog tends to bleed when he chews for too long so I have to give him timeouts from the toy but as far as cleaning the toy goes, it’s extremely easy. I just rinse mine off and it’s good to go.
My Dogs Favorite Toy. She is distorting this pretty fast.The head & tail look pretty bad, but the middle still looks great.It won’t last as long as some of her toys, but I would still give it a 4.
It’s okay for the price. It’s been about 26 days since my 7 year old got it. He’s an aggressive chewer and the toy has held up some what. He figured out the middle part is softer so he nibbled away at that part.Will probably have to replace it in a week or two.
No such thing is Indestructible. Great little chew toy for my golden doodle, but like anything else she is an aggressive chewer and although this product is sturdy it didn’t take long for her to start pulling the softer parts off and take the tail off of it. She really likes it and it lasts slightly longer than the softer toys she has but technically nothing is indestructible…would buy again though it does keep her busy.

Foam is sturdy but will eventually be ripped off by aggressive chewing.• this is a heavy toy so watch your toes• lasts longer than most, definitely worth buying• dogs had no interest at first so definitely put peanut butter on it to give it a chance.• It has been their favorite chew toy everMy five German Shepherds have loved this toy and destroyed it. As we are saying goodbye six months later I decided to share my review. At first none of them cared for it. I was going to return but for the money just didn’t. I don’t know how many months I had it before one of them picked it up ( maybe two) then they all wanted it. Within a month they did rip all the foam off, supervision is a must. They are all aggressive chewers.My daughter plays fetch with it, can’t stand it, but they love it. She throws it away from them, it’s way too heavy for a dog to catch without chipping teeth. I don’t like the fetch because when they drop it at my feet to play it hurts when I’m wearing sandals, again it’s heavy and solid. Not supposed to throw it but my dogs love it, when tired then go lay down and chew on it. This toy has lived outside since we bought it since it’s heavy and my dogs love to drop it at feet. They are only outside when we are so always supervised. Can’t stress that enough since they can eventually rip the foam and chew body off with enough chewing. I wouldn’t leave this toy or any toy alone with an aggressive chewer ever. This is the longest lasting aggressive chew toy we’ve owned. So I’m very happy with it and if you’re here you know the pain of trying to find something that last longer than a day or week. I wish I tried peanut butter to get them interested sooner.
Extremely Durable – Over 2 years and still standing. This is the only toy that my 80lb GSD is not able to break and he loves it. I bought him several so that we can have a couple inside the house and outside. Just careful because these are extremely hard and sound like they’ll break your floors. So use them on rugs or outdoors.I’ve liked this so much I’ve gifted to my friends dogs and they also love them.
Green Gator Chew Toy. This toy will LAST! Incredibly durable and sturdy. Bought it for my first puppy while he was in his chewing on everything phase and it would tire him out. Then a couple years later we got our second puppy and he too used the chew toy and loved it! I finally threw the toy away due to it being old. But will DEFINITELY be purchasing other toys from this brand.
3.5 stars: He loves it, but it didn’t last long. I would say this is a 3.5 star rating. While my dog does love it, the picture shows what it looked like just after a month of use. Chewed up but still present. The green back of the alligator does come apart when he chews it and there are hard green pieces everywhere. If you step on one barefoot, it’s like a Lego… Hopefully, the older my dog gets, the less he will destroy things (crossing my fingers).
Great chew toy. We have a new puppy who, as she grows, chews everything in sight. This alligator is hard plastic and she can’t get enough of it. Happily, it doesn’t splinter and gives her hours of enjoyment
Well built toy. Until I accidently chucked it into a tree and it snapped in half… 😂 It was great while it lasted! My dog enjoyed it, wasn’t torn to pieces within an hour of play, kind of hard to find in the grass but we managed! Try it out for your puppy if you are contemplating it!
Great for your teething fur baby. While this toy is heavy, the quality is fantastic. My fur baby is teething and this is his go to toy. The alligator has lasted a lot longer than any other toy he has owned.Pros: great for teething, non destructiveCons: weight of toyWill definitely purchase again if this one doesn’t last!
Challenging toy. My dogs are experts at destroying toys. I am always on the lookout for a toy that can withstand their jaws. This alligator is perfect. It’s strong, and solid. After a couple of months of constant chewing, the nose was rough, but still intact. I am so pleased I just bought another one!
Nice idea but not for my beagle or catahoula mixes. Bought this for the 2 yr old beagle mix. 1)this thing is Heavy! Watch out for breakables if you have a dog that throws toys. 2) Beagle had no interest in the toy…at all. Pretty big and heavy for her to pick up and chew. 3) Catahoula mix loved chewing on the incredibly hard head that was nothing for her. Big tooth marks and shredding plastic off. Had to take it away after a few short minutes. Disappointed.
This is a small toy but Solid. It’s smaller than i expected and it definitely has some weight to it. So be careful your dog, doesn’t drop it on your foot. Overall it’s a good chew toy.
