The revolutionary furminator quickly and effectively reduces shedding by up to 90%. its patented stainless steel edge penetrates your cat's topcoat, safely removing loose hair and undercoat without scratching their sensitive skin. Also reduces hairballs.
Removes a LOT of hair, but that hair goes everywhere. Someone recommended this Furminator to me for my long-haired cat. It definitely does a great job at removing his hair. In fact, it removes so much fur that the hair removal button isn’t even needed; I simply grab the hair with my hand from the deshedding edge every time it gets full and throw it into the wastebasket that I have right next to me. What I don’t like about this product is the static electricity gets bad and the hair goes EVERYWHERE. Once I’m done, I have to use the hand vac and sticky roller to clean up me, the floor and the cat. See photos of my fluffy cat and the fur I got from one brush session (which doesn’t even include the hair I cleaned up separately due to the static). Also, I find the Furminator overpriced when it’s full price (about $40). When it’s on sale in the mid-$20’s, it’s a good buy.
IMPRESSIVE TOOL. I have 4 cats and a huge shedding problem this year. I’ve traditionally used a wire brush that apparently was only hitting the surface. I noticed my cats continued shedding and matting this season which has been the worst I’ve ever seen it so I looked for another type of brush. The only other option at this point was to shave them to save myself the constant agravation of picking up tumble hairs everywhere and being covered in cat hair daily. One long brush job on two of the cats who are both medium haired resulted in these piles. The hair on the left is from a 22lb rescue cat I have that sheds worse than a German Shephard! This tool successfully pulled the small mats out with ease and really got down to the deep layers of the fur. After one session the two cats coats feel so soft and clean and they now are barely shedding. I am VERY impressed with this tool and HIGHLY recommend it!!
HOLY HAIR BRUSH. I have 2 VERY large (20-25#) VERY hairy cats. Hairballs (even with meds) are common around my house 🤢. We’ve tried about 1829845 other combs and brushes, to no avail. Tried this and as others have said/shown I had a PILE of hair brushed out of my kitties. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this brush!! It does NOT remove mats. Just brushes out undercoat as advertised. I’ll never own another brush for my cats, it’s simply not necessary. I’ve found the Holy Grail of furry baby brushes!
Shedding? This will absolutely help. My cats shed a lot so there’s cat fur all over the place a lot. I’m so glad I ordered this brush because it really helped, especially with getting down deep into the undercoat areas.Cause my cats no pain (in fact they love it, which is weird since they usually dislike being brushed). There will be A LOT of fur being brushed out so make sure you do it in a place, preferably that the pet is comfortable with, that you don’t mind cleaning up A LOT of fur clumps from that area (as well as your clothes) afterwards.Absolutely would recommend!!
She loves it. My long-haired Calico loves it when I pull this out to brush her….takes only a few minutes, and she’s purring constantly. The first couple of times we used it, there was so much fur that came out, it looked like it would have been several cat’s worth. It helps to have a couple of dry paper towels handy. I use them to pull the full out of the brush, collect several piles, and it makes for easy clean-up.
Pet lover’s best friend. I have three cats. When I use this comb on a daily basis, it really does reduce problems with shedding. I vacuum much less. It is a remarkable tool and very much worth the price.
Great product. This is a great tool for combing out dead hair without hurting the cat. We have a short hair brown tabby whose fur feels rough like a cheap carpet if we don’t groom him regularly. He loves the brushing sessions and begs for them every day. I bought this to replace a slightly smaller version I gave to a friend whose cat was a shedding machine. While this four-inch model works just as well, I like the smaller one a little better—easier to use on the throat and chest and neck. I’ve had cats for fifty years and used all kinds of brushes and combs and gloves; the Furminator is much better in the cats’ opinion as well as mine.
The terminator of cat hair. One of my neighbors who also has a cat introduced me to THE FURminator This is a rather heavy metal brush. I thought my cat was not going to like this. But he does and it works really well with his long hair. It also has a button to release the hair, so you can continue to brush. I have to brush inside the house. I found out that if you have a multi layer of a wet paper towel to discharge the hair it makes an easy clean up. Also the wet paper towel keeps the hair from floating around the room. It’s the best for hair removal and keeps your home cleaner without all that hair on the furniture and floating around. However, if you can brush outside it’s the best. I don’t know about dogs.
Perfect item for perfect price! Best on market ! Hands down. Absolutely love this when de shedding my fur babies. I have to get a bigger size now as they have got much bigger.Tip for first time users: after running it through your fur baby a few times, push it down a carpet piece to clear it out. You can easily use it on carpet to gather up all the fur after and vacuum it up. This helps so you don’t have to constantly push it into a trash can where the fur can easily fly all over.
Perfect kitty. Works great perfect size helps comb her hair without hurting her too bad and she absolutely loves it every time I pull it out definitely spend the extra on one of these instead of the cheap ones. This works beautifully
